VERDICT: Fun and well done, to discover the basic principles of chemistry.

This type of books didn’t exist when I was a kid in a tiny French village, and my knowledge of chemistry is less than basic. I bet many adults like me would enjoy this 101 Chemistry through these fun and fascinating experiments. Without spending lots of money, nor blowing up the house!

This one is for the problem-solvers, the explorers, and those with curious minds! This book begins with an introduction to the different areas of chemistry, and the types of chemists who study biochemistry, organic chemistry, inorganic chemistry, even green chemistry which studies how to reduce waste.

The experiments are divided into chapters by Matter, Gases, Chemical Reactions, and Polymers. Although the book talks about atoms, protons, density, noble gases, air pressure, and other scientific

Want to improve your handwriting as an adult? Then this workbook may be just what you are looking for. At first glance you may have received the impression that this book is for kids. Wrong! Whilst older kids, teenagers and college students could definitely improve their handwriting by using this book, they are not the intended audience.

Maybe you are wondering why you should bother investing time in your handwriting when most of the time you type and text? Handwriting it an important skill and t

It would have been wonderful if this book had been available when I was younger. Then maybe I would have liked (maybe even loved) Chemistry. As it is, it was my worse subject.

This is an exciting book for young people. It not only exposes them to the concepts behind Chemistry, but also gives them practical opportunities to experience it and see how it affects their everyday life. This book will open some kids’ eyes to the wonder of the world and for others it will open a whole new pathway for the

I love this curriculum. Each lesson is well laid out. They begin by posing the initial real question, clearly stating materials and steps, and then following up with observational nudges for the kids to think about. As a parent (who took a lot of college chemistry courses), this is a great introduction to chemistry for our grade school kids. We will definitely use this at home.
(I received a free copy of this book from the publisher.)
