Anna Mani was an Indian scientist who loved to read about the world around her. Peek into her eighth birthday party and follow her through her extraordinary scientific adventures.
I insist that at least two copies of this book be included in any library I help set up. It is important for young women (and men) to have role models, and Anna Mani is one of the best. She was celebrated with a google doodle on her 104th birthday, and I thought it fitting to read the story yet again.
I'd never heard of Anna Mani prior to reading this. Now that I have, I'm impressed with all that she managed to accomplish in her life. This was a delightful picture book biography.
