Sweet and spicy.

The great thing about books and why I think we love to read is because of the escape. And who wouldn’t want to escape to a tropical island where the temperatures are hot and so is the story.
This is the perfect embodiment of a second chance romance and it comes to us in this quick yet satisfying read. After all who can resist a billionaire with delectable qualities, but a few issues too.
While I did not agree with how Kai took off, what I did love was his inarguable ability to prove that she was the only one for him.
Sweet with heat and a delightful romance, this is a pleasurable story, in more ways than one.

Five Stars! ⭐️ ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ ‘Intrigued by Love’ had me intrigued from the very beginning. Once madly in love, Kai leaves Jax without warning or explanation, moving half way across the world. Kai felt she came second to Jax’s family and wanted more. Instead of telling Jax how she felt, she leaves and Jax is left heartbroken and confused.
Fast forward two years, without once speaking, and Kai is preparing herself to see Jax again; they have to spend the next month together for Kai’s sister’s wedding, where Jax is the best man. All it takes is one look from Jax, and Kai is done for; their chemistry reignites immediately.
This book was fast paced and impossible to put down. In between the many sexy scenes between Jax and Kai, there is also a griping back story that unfolds; we get Jax’s perspective on their relationship and also find out why he acted the way he did around his family, which ultimately lead Kai to leave him.
I love a good second chance romance, and this book did NOT disappoint. Great story, great characters, and great writing. Five Stars are well deserved!!

Great fast read that ties in her previous Gods of Vegas series nicely.

Kai and Jax we’re together for a lo time in Vegas, but when Kai decides that Jax wasn’t making her a priority, she packed up and left without another word. Fast forward four years and these two find themselves together celebrating family, but the tension and attraction haven’t faded.
This was a super easy, fun read where all the characters were likable. Who doesn’t love an island vacation so the setting was fantastic and the resolve for Kai to stay away from Jax was fairly impressive. All in all, a good story about a second chance at romance.

Book 5 in the Written in the Stars series and I loved this story. Second chance romance between Kai and Jax and I was all for it. Second chance is one of my favorite tropes and this was so good. Kai left Jax 2 years ago without any explanation and now Jax has 4 weeks to figure out what happened and get her back. Loved watching them find their way back to each other. Quick read that will have you hooked from page 1 and won’t let you go until the very last page. I can’t wait to read more from this author and from this series.

Short and Spicy. This was a one sitting read for me and I've also read the background series, Gods of Vegas, which I HIGHLY recommend. I loved the connection in this book. Jax and Kailani (Kai) have a history and she suddenly leaves him in the dust and he doesn't know why. A family wedding brings them back together and Jax wants answers, but he only has three weeks to figure out why. This book just touches on a few hot scenes, they are spicy so you can imagine if more details were provided. Ms. Snow's books are always enjoyable and I can't seem to put them down once I start one of her stories. You won't be disappointed.

Kailani and Jax were together for several years, when Kai decided that she was tired of being an afterthought to Jax. Instead of talking to him about it, she moves out and leaves their home without any explanation. She moves across the world—from Las Vegas to Bora Bora—and starts a new life there as the general manager and part owner of a resort. Her sister and fiancé have reserved the entire resort for a month to spend time with their families and to get married. So Kai is there as an overseer for the festivities but also as a guest and family member. The best man is Jax, and she sees him again for the first time in two years when the family arrives on the island. Jax comes from a family of ‘Hollywood royalty’ while Kai comes from a military family of hard workers. This put her at odds with Jax’s parents. His mother, in particular, was never a fan of Kai’s, which added tension to their relationship. Nevertheless, two years have passed and Jax wants to find out what went wrong and try to fix it if he can. He has never stopped loving Kai, and wants to repair and reignite what they used to have.
This book grabs the reader from the start. The tension is palpable, because the reader knows there has to be a good reason for Kai to walk away from what they had before. It just takes a while before the reader fully understands the reasons, as the author doles out the information sparingly. Nevertheless, it eventually makes sense. There are plenty of delightful surprises for the reader as this story evolves. This was a joy to read! It is served with a generous serving of ‘ah-ha’ moments for both protagonists. And Kai finally comes into her own feminine power. This is fun!!

I really liked this love story between Kai and Jax.
After abruptly leaving her boyfriend behind Kai moves half across the world. Never looking back.
Jax has to face his ex girlfriend when he’s invited to go to his friends wedding and he kiss that his ex is going to be there. Two years later he’s just as confused as to why she left and still loves her.
Sienna Snow is a new author to me. She writes super well. She’s knows how to swipe you off your feet and immerse you in this love story of second chances.
I can’t wait to read more from this author!!

Kai and Jax story is a romantic and I have to say very steamy second chance romance!
Both are successful stubborn ex lovers who never lost their passion for the other but reservations of the future had Kai running away and now that Jax turns up in her life again Kai has to decide if she can see her life without him forever!
As Jax fights to show her the love he still holds inside for her he also has to make some tough decisions about his family and his future!
I loved Kai’s over the top family but I admired how open they were with one another! A great fast read and I loved every word of it! Just be ready for a cool down once you’re done because these two together burn with desire!

Kai has to face the man she ghosted. But she doesn't just have to face him, she has to spend time with him as her sister's wedding festivities ramp up. Considering Jax is her soon to be brother-in-law's best man, it's going to be a little difficult to avoid him. Kai will need to harden her heart, or perhaps just be honest with the poor man as to why she left him two years ago. Will he use this time as a second chance? Or shred her for breaking his heart?
Gotta first say this - damn Kai but you stupid, so stupid. OK now that I've gotten that out of the way, I can see why she ran, but I don't agree with it or condone it, and I'm glad her mother and sister took Kai to task and told her exactly how it is. I know if I had a Jax in my life, I certainly would not ghost him. But Jax has a forgiving heart, luckily for Kai. Their second chance love story is hot, sweet, and I was really glad to see Kai's character growth. I may have still wanted to smack her for being so pigheaded and stupid, but she ended up being a good character, if not quite deserving of Jax's awesomeness.

This was the fist book I have read by this author!! and let me tell you, she just made to my top 10 authors!! yes, this book was that good. I completely loved the dynamic between Jax and our heroine. They both were perfect for each other.
There were times when I wanted to smack them for being to stupid and impulsive!! they just wasted so much time. But then everything worked out for the best in the end. The way the story was portrayed by the author was very good, I just felt attached to the characters in the first few chapters of the book!!!
this book is recommended to all the contemporary romance lovers with a little tinge of kink in the scenes!!!

This is the first book I've read from the Written in the Stars collection but being a fan of Snow's work I knew I wanted to take a chance and I am so glad I did.
Part owner of an exclusive resort it seems as though Kai is living the dream
But when you peel back the layers - She is hiding.
Oh, she is happy but she is missing that one special thing that would make everything perfect
Someone to share it with - The other half of her soul.
At first, I questioned her original pack and flee behavior but after meeting Jax's 'rents -
I would have tried for the moon.
Holy Cow how did Jax turn out so well?
Jax knew what he wanted and he had the patience to go after it
And what a fabulous way to show someone that they were the center of their world? Nothing sexier than a man that knows what he wants and has the forthwith to go after it
The chemistry between these two was nothing short of sun 🌞melting hot!

Jax thought he found his forever in Kai, that is until he came home to a empty house one day. Kai refused to come second to people who didn’t like or respect her, so she left without looking back. Two years later, at a new job with a new life in the French Polynesia,Kai comes face to face with Jax while preparing for her sister’s wedding. Feelings that Kai has been trying to forget comes back with just one glance at Jax. Jax wants to talk and he will not take no for an answer. As more time passes Jax and Kai realizes that things were not what they perceived two years ago. Maybe they made wrong choices. With time winding down the the wedding coming to an end, can Kai and Jax overcome their past? Can they let go of the pain of heartbreak and start over again?
I enjoyed this book. It was a quick read which I did in one sitting. I liked that I was able to enjoy this book without feeling like I needed to read the others in this series. I really enjoyed Jax and Kai's story. Kai left Jax two years ago and is now on the beautiful island of Bora Bora. She's surprised when Jax shows up as part of her sister's wedding party. We learn that miscommunications played a big part of the reason Kai left. Jax is determined to win the love of his life back. I loved this story and all the elements of Hawaiian culture sprinkled within the story. This was a great read filled with passion, family, and love.

If you haven't read the previous books in this series and are questioning whether you can just dine in anywhere and not feel like you are missing anything, you can. This is my first book by this author and also the first book I have read in this series, I never once felt like I missed anything and was able to fully enjoy the book.
Kai and Jax lit my kindle on fire, the intense chemistry between these 2 was as clear as day the moment his name was brought up and even more so when their eyes met. Misunderstandings and lack of communication led to heartbreak and devastation for both of them, my heart ached right along with theirs as they tried to move on from the past.
Jax was the hot alpha that dreams are made of, he knew what and who he wanted and wouldn't stop until he got it and of course that was Kai.
Kai and Jax lit my kindle on fire, the intense chemistry between these 2 was as clear as day the moment his name was brought up and even more so when their eyes met. This is the 5th book in this awesome series and is Kai and Jax’s story. These two were together for 4 years until miscommunication and insecurities have Kai upping and leaving. Now 2 years later they are going to meet again for Kai’s sisters’ wedding where Jax is best man, and he is determined to get the answers as to why she left and get her back. Can Kai avoid Jax? This is a fast paced, 2nd chance romance story, which had me intrigued and hooked throughout. I highly recommend for all.

This book is incredible. It is a second chance romance written in the stars. I enjoyed the island theme and the Hawaiian heritage included in this book. I also loved that there was a character to hate. These characters were each unique and well developed. I loved the depth of the family relationship the Alexander family had, as well as the friendship Jax and Thad shared.

Intrigued By Love is a wonderful read. It is a second chance romance full of angst and really H.O.T. steamy scenes. Kailani, aka Kai, is the manager and part owner of Lykaios Bora Bora. Her movie star baby sister is getting married and her director husband has booked the resort for a month of family time ending with the wedding Kai has planned. When they arrive she discovers the best man is Jax, her ex boyfriend. She left him 2 years ago and neither have moved on. The story is sweet and will have you pulling for Jax and Kai.

I love second chance stories and Sienna Snow has written one that fits the bill completely. In Intrigued By Love, Kailani was determined to enjoy seeing her family who was coming in for her sister’s destination wedding. What she didn’t count on was the groom’s best friend Jax being there too. Now Kai had to push back the memories of them being together and Jax had a plan, determined to bring her back into his arms where she belonged.
I liked the way Sienna told their story, feeling the emotions Kai had as Jax showed her exactly why they belonged together.

wow book five of the series written in the stars was amazing! I loved this story, I loved the history between Kai and Jax. You can truly see the love they have for each other, and the pain and suffering they go through. I love the way their story ends. you see so much growth between them, and you see how much Kai does grow through out the book. I love the relationship that Kai has with her sisters and sister in laws as well as just her family as a whole. An other amazing book in this series!

Intrigued by Love was so hot, and fun to read, it was amazing to read a story with a different background and learn about a beautiful culture.
Kailani and Jax love each other and were in a relationship for years until Kailani decided to leave Jax without an explanation.
Jax knows his family never approved of Kai and he tried to keep her way from them to protect her, but in his effort to protect her Kai felt like she was put aside and Jax was ashamed of her, one day suddenly she was gone and he was left to pick up the pieces of his broken heart.
Two years later Kai lives in Bora Bora, she is successful but she is alone and away from her family and the man she still loves even if they have been apart, Kailani can't forget and stop loving Jax.
Kai is in charge of her sister's wedding, and for a month her family and Jax will be in the island, Jax wants a second chance and he wants to know the real reason Kai left him, they love each other and their attraction can't be ignore, Jax is the only man that can pleasure Kai's darkest desires, they are meant for each other, but they only have a month to finally discovered if they will have their happy ending or is the moment to finally say good bye.

This is the first novel I have read by Sienna Snow and I can say with confidence that it will not be the last. I love reading the Written in the Stars series. These books are not only very good, but they are also allowing me to find all these great new authors! book is part of the Written in the Stars Series. This series is 12 zodiac signs, 12 authors, and 12 sexy, deeply romantic novellas. Snow’s book is the zodiac sign Gemini.

Intrigued By Love is a second chance romance between Kailani and Jax. This book is such a great read with steam, love and sweet moments which prove this couple deserves their HEA.
Kai and Jax were together and living in Las Vegas for four years until Kai got tired of feeling second best to his family so moved out whilst he was out of town with no explanation. She moves to French Polynesia to work and part own an exclusive resort in Bora Bora, returning to the island life she grew up with. Four years later, her younger sister is marrying her fiancée at the resort and have rented the resort for the month leading up to the wedding. Jax is the best man and they are suddenly thrown back into each other’s lives for the entire month, producing undeniable chemistry and a lot of confessions as to what went wrong back in Vegas. Both Kai and Jax never fell out of love for one another, they just didn’t communicate properly and Jax will stop at nothing to win his love back. He’s been preparing for years for this opportunity to repair his relationship with Kaia and prove his love for her, but he knows he must tread carefully so as to not scare her into running again. What happens when they give into their chemistry and begin to see their love never went away? Will they be able to make it work this time, without the interference of his family?
Intrigued By Love had me hooked from the start. Although this is a novella length romance, in no way is it an insta love, it’s a reconnection of past lovers who have never lost their spark, just their way. They need the push of the proximity of this island to reignite it and see what they’ve been missing. As the plot unfolds, everything between them begins to make sense and you fall in love with them along the way. I loved the secondary characters, Kai’s family were hilarious and so involved, but coming from a place of love unlike Jax’s. This was a fun, quick, easy and happy read and I would recommend it to any lover of second chance romances!
