My Review:
A sweet, little board book just perfect for tiny hands. Its a touch and feel book so your sweet baby can touch the softness of the horse hide or the goats hair. It is the sweetest little book that talks about going to the fair and seeing all the animals. It describes all the fun things to do on a pretty, fall day. Full of fun and laughter. Any sweet baby would love the bright colors and the animals in the book as well and feely places that they can actively touch. A great gift!

Fun Fall Day is the perfect fall gift for little readers and listeners. The sensory aspect is fun, with cut-out touch and feel areas to accentuate the unique treasures that autumn brings.
The bright illustrations show animal friends having plenty of fun and food at the fair. And the oranges, yellows, golds, and reds throughout the book showcase the gorgeous colors that fall time brings.
Overall, this is a short, sturdy, and entertaining interactive board book for babies and preschoolers. Fun rhymes, colorful illustrations, and touch and feel areas.

I thought this was pretty disappointing for a touch-and-feel book.
There are only 4 textures used -- fake hair/fur, glitter, a scratchy crepe paper type thing, and just a smooth pumpkin side. The smooth segment is barely different from the pages and glitter is in so many books these days (yay! I love glitter!) that it's not as much of an experience. The touch elements also made up fairly small portions of the pages/layouts.
The illustrations are adorable though.

2.5 stars -- Colorful, and very short, little board book celebrating the sights and sounds of the fall season. The animal characters are very cute, but I'm always a little weirded out when some animal characters keep other animal characters in petting zoos(?) Some of the pages have textures within the pictures.

This is a cute fall-themed book that encourages small chidren to explore with the sense of touch.
Colorful pictures help the child's attention span.

Terrific seasonal board book for babies through kindergarten! Knudson’s brief text has rhythm and rhyme and encourages active participation with phrases like shuffle and stomp and will have littles and their caregivers making the noises that go with onomatopoeic words like crackle and crunch. Illustrations by Juliana Motzko fill the page completely with text tucked into open niches amid pumpkin patches and piles of leaves and provide plenty of opportunity for even more Fall-centered conversation. Several pages have some touch and feel places incorporated into the art and will encourage tactile exploration plus vocabulary like rough, soft, furry, bumpy and more.
Excellent choice for parents, guardians, teachers of young ones and a terrific gift for grandparents to give to grands and then have fun reading it with them!
