I read Descartes' Meditations, Hobbes' Leviathan (selections), Cavendish, Locke's Essay (selections), Berkeley (selections), Hume, Kant
The book was for one of my classes. I enjoyed the thought provoking questions in between sections. These breaks helped organize the dense material I had taken on, as I went from paragraph to paragraph. I did not so much enjoy the long lines of text. Most textbooks have two columns per page because those long lines are exhausting on the eyes. They make it hard to focus. These things balance each other out. It's a great selection of material, although I don't know how you'd get this book unless you took the class.
