Classroom: How would you feel if you were the wolfman? (feelings in body) Drawings of how we all look different Read for pleasure, predictions
I liked the illustrations better. The story is definitely engaging and funny at the end (where Wolfman just wanted to go the bathroom, poor thing)! But, I don't know, it is not among my favourites by Michael Rosen.
What an utter delight - this book takes a Michael Rosen story, adds Chris Mould illustrations and produces the whole with a view to accessibility for dyslexic parents.
The story has wonderful pace. Having recently spent time that was good for me on Michael Rosen's YouTube channel, I could hear him reading this aloud. The book looks like any normal picture book... well, apart from the claw marks which have made thrilling gashes in the cover. The illustrations are fabulous, especially the close up of Wolfman peering through the letterbox, and whilst I anticipated the general nature of the denouement, the specifics made me laugh out loud with joyful surprise.
