In our world today there are monumental and exponential changes occurring. These changes are happening not just in the local, international, or global arenas, but even within ourselves. Let us explore the necessary actions and responsibilities that will help guide us into our future.
It is important to look beyond isolationism or globalization. Politics, the different governments and cultures in the world, and our environment are significant contributing factors, but we must also look at the entire world around us. We must examine our different societies, human behaviors, and all of humanity.
The purpose of this book is to have you ask a variety of engaging questions, both of yourself and about the world around you. I want to help you explore the deeper questions so you can find answers that will ultimately help you survive the intense upheavals of today.
Ever since Jeremy Boggess was a small child, he has felt that there would be a chain of events set in motion and that his task would be to help us all through those changes.
He was born in 1971 in the United States of America, and in 2016 moved to Europe. In the 2000’s he ran for the Idaho Senate several times as an independent with a desire to make a positive contribution to the lives of people. In 2008, while running for office, he self-published his first book of philosophical observations, Thoughts & Responsibilities. He graduated from Boise State University and Lewis-Clark State College with business degrees. Additionally, since childhood, he has studied philosophy and sociology because of his concern for the future of humankind.
Ignoring a situation never makes it better or go away, and generally makes it worse. 🦄🦄🦄 Taking Action For A Better Tomorrow by Jeremy Boggess is a thought provoking book that details the changes we have to expect in the future and how we have to adapt to it while also talking about events that took place in the past and the impact that it had on humankind.
The book covers six topics; Changes Occurring in the Fractionalized World of Today, Action, Apathy, and Consequences, Our Government, The Future of Ourselves and Society, Balance the Equation, Ourselves and Society
The author's views on how things can be better if we just tried doing things a little bit differently shows how a small step can cause a big leap whether it comes from a person or a whole country. Change doesn't necessarily only mean big things like 'change in the environment'. It can also be something like a person's view on their life and how they can make it better.
There are so many quote worthy lines in this book that have stuck with me:
- In our zeal to combat racism, prejudice, and stereotypes, we must be careful not to give birth to them when they are not present.
- Do not just explain to people why a thing is wrong, but help them understand the consequences of their actions.
- We must be careful; sometimes in our despair or frustration we grasp for the beautiful, but unwittingly grasp the nightmare.
Overall, I would highly recommend this book to everyone, irrespective of your interested because all of us as a civilization need to understand the importance of protecting the world we live in. 🦄🦄🦄 Rated 8/10 Melina L.
Taking Action for a Better Tomorrow is an intriguing book written from the viewpoint of Jeremy P. Boggess that addresses how the world is experiencing tremendous changes that can have either positive or negative effects on the planet’s future. These fast-paced transitions are occurring in numerous areas, such as political arenas, environmental and technological areas, and economic systems. Boggess provides reasons that civilizations have disappeared and how our current civilization is at a crossroads of either survival or major societal upheaval. He talks about how much of an impact each individual can have on the future of the planet and societies across the globe. He advocates that people take responsibility for ensuring the planet is a viable place to live for future generations and shares not only the hindrances to this but also the requirements for making it happen. In the endnotes, Boggess provides an explanation of cardboard philosophy and exostentialism, terminology of his own usage.
Boggess has written a book with an immense amount of information on a topic pertinent to global planetary concerns. Numerous thought-provoking questions are included in the text. Whether or not people who read this book agree or disagree with part or all of the subject matter presented in it, Boggess does a good job of discussing a subject that affects the world population and leaves people with much to think about in regard to the necessity of everyone on the planet contributing to the long-term viability of a sustainable global home.
This book is a point of view and an observational look from a common man at the progression of our societies, humanity, and our world. It is a look at where our various societies and humanity and the world have been, currently are, and are headed in general.
We are seeing the world changing exponentially and in more diverse areas before our eyes. Our current world, as a whole, is increasingly experiencing these changes. These shifts seem to be happening more simultaneously with other world experiences. They seem to be occurring more frequently, quickly, and in ever widening range of areas both old and new. Some of these changes are coming at an almost exponential rate. Every generation today has witnessed unprecedented advancements and changes relative to their own previous life experiences. The world is changing and becoming rearranged in almost every way imaginable and sometimes in even unimaginable ways. It is altering in a way that past generations have never experienced before. The changes are happening not just in the local, international, and global arenas, but even within ourselves.
It is a thought provoking book. It will have you ask a variety of questions, both of yourself and about the world around you, which will ultimately help you survive the intense upheavals of today.
The book is so interesting that you will be engrossed from the moment you pick up and begin reading the book and will not be able to put it down until you finish it. I really enjoyed reading this book. This book was unlike any book that I have ever read before.
The writing style of the author is lucid and I really liked it. The language is easy to understand and beginner friendly. The narration is smooth and top notch. The cover page of the book is appealing and the title couldn't be more perfect.

This was such an insightful and engaging read. The author does an incredible job of taking the time to thoughtfully and carefully examine the growing tension and chaos of our world from both a societal and an introspective look. The reader can feel the tension mounting as the author explores the rapid increase in chaos, a phenomenon that is evident in the news and in daily interactions with people. It was fascinating to see the interconnected way that global, societal, and individual roles influence how people interact with one another come to life on the page.
What struck me as interesting from the outset was how the author addressed the need for flexibility and the ability to adapt. From teaching resources and addressing the teacher-to-student ratio that has disrupted educational services, to exploring how inequality in any society can lead to instabilities within that society, the author emphasizes the need to change how society and individuals process and utilize information, rather than clinging to the ways things used to be. The author did a fantastic job of using an informative yet relatable tone in their writing style to engage readers and explore solutions that could bring a more hopeful future than the one the world is currently facing.
The Verdict
Insightful, engaging, and memorable, author Jeremy P. Boggess’s “Taking Action for a Better Tomorrow” is a must-read nonfiction and philosophical book. Just as the title says, you should absolutely read this book if you're interested in "Taking Action for a Better Tomorrow"!
The author has obviously done a lot of research, and knew his subject matter very well before writing this lovely work of non-fiction. He also writes well, and is able to convey the information in a way that is both interesting and beautifully written. I very much appreciated both of these aspects!
The book discusses a lot of the problems we face in the world today. However, it ALSO provides specific information about not just what society as a whole SHOULD do about this issues, but what I, as only one person, actually CAN do to try to make things better. I really liked that this isn't written as a text-type book, just talking about all the problems. There are honest, actual steps that everyday people can take to make the world a better place. Of course, it takes more than one person to change the world, but the actions outlined here are a great place to start. It's nice to know that there are positive, pro-active things we can all do to help.
Some impressive philosophy about world problems is also included, and I really appreciated the author's thoughts, beliefs, and terminology. I am pretty aware of things in general, but this book provided some new information, and also explained things in ways I had not thought of before.
I recommend this to anyone who wants to feel better about the world, and anyone who wants to make a difference.

The future of the human species can be predicated on our reality; and the realities of our various individual worlds (what we individually see, what we perceive, experience, relate to, et cetera) are changing exponentially.
