'THC' is a novel by adam byfield. Set in the shadows of an anonymous Northern city, THC blends the classic first person, noir narrative style with an innovative, slipstream format. Joe is a petty drug dealer who inexplicably splits into three versions of himself, each with radically different attitudes towards life. Completely unaware of one another, the choices each make impact drastically and unexpectedly on the lives of the others. After one commits a brutal murder, the three scatter to start afresh but find they can never quite escape their past or the links between them. As their lives continue to entangle and overlap, the three unwittingly draw each other back together towards a deadly, explosive finale.
