I was excited to start this via an e-arc and revisit the California area of Archangel that “The Apple Orchard” and “Bee Keeper’s Ball” we’re set in. The story doesn’t stay there, but it is fun to peek into the lives of characters previously read. Tess has some good influences here.

Natalie hates her job, but loved the stability. The tragic accident that takes her mother and changes her life course, returning her to The Lost and Found Bookshop in San Francisco has her deciding what she really

I absolutely loved this little gem of a book by Susan Wiggs. Natalie's life is upended when her mother and boyfriend are killed in a plane crash and she has to return to "the city" to take care of Grandy, who's memory is failing, and her mother's indie bookstore, The Lost and Found Bookshop, which is in serious financial trouble. Wiggs' characters touched me and I particularly liked the nod to characters from her other books. Highly recommend!

Susan Wiggs's life is all about family, friends...and fiction. She lives at the water's edge on an island in Puget Sound, and she commutes to her writers' group in a 17-foot motorboat. She serves as author liaison for Field's End, a literary community on Bainbridge Island, Washington, bringing inspiration and instruction from the world's top authors to her seaside community.
