Free at Last: Experiencing True Freedom Through Your Identity In Christ

Rate this book
God wants to set His people free.So many Christians continue to live in bondage although they've been forgiven from sin. It seems we have difficulty grasping the amazing truth of who we are in Jesus Christ. Dr. Tony Evans masterfully communicates the essence of who we become when we receive Jesus Christ as Lord. He helps readers learn how to accept their identities as children of God and live accordingly. In Free at Last, readers will be encouraged that they are not defined or controlled by their actions; they've been bought for a price.

I could not put this book down. Free at last, thank you Lord. I started reading this book because I was dealing with some old sins trying to creep back in my life. I am grateful for Dr. Tony Evans for his wisdom and his knowledge of God's word. Our freedom surely is found through our identity in Christ. The Lord has given us everything we need to grow in grace and in faith, the day we trusted in Him as savior and as Lord, we were given everything. We are victorious.

This was the first nonfiction book I ever read that wasn't an assigned read. The revelation contained in this book provoked a hunger in me for the Word of God. I've been hooked on the Word and on good nonfiction literature ever since.

insightful

This has. To be one of the most insightful books of the modern age with enlightening you on who you are in Christ, and what he has done for us with the sacrifices he made on Calvary's cross. He overcame the world so that we would be overcome of the world war h Him. It's time to celebrate and act like it is true.

Evans has the unique ability of taking profound theological concepts and simplifying them for the reader. He is great story teller, and helps the reader to apply the truths of God’s Word to everyday life.

Very good read with so much scripture backing. I found myself going back and forth between the Word and his book!

This book has deep roots(smiling). I read this book at a point in my life where I was confused, lost, and very empty within. At the time,I did not understand why. I read this book and my life began to take a different turn. Scripture is and will always be sufficient, but I do believe the Lord does speak in other ways and through other vessels. This book was one of those ways

This book is a great book on the bondage of sin and the freedom from that bondage at salvation. I hope you are as blessed reading it as I am.
