Traci Hunter Abramson quickly became one of my favorite mystery/suspense authors when I got an e-reader as a gift in 2012. I don't think I've read a book by her that I haven't liked, and this is one I LOVED. This is part of the Royal series, but it can be read as a standalone. I promise you won't be lost if you haven't read the other books. If you have read the others in the series this picks up about a year after Royal Brides. This is my favorite of the all the Royal books--it's got a princess, ...more

Traci Hunter Abramson is one of my favorite go-to authors. She writes several different genres and I enjoy them all. This book is a continuation of her royal books but can easily stand alone. I have to say that I sure love this cover better than the previous ones!

I love the setting of this book and wish I could go somewhere with warm azure waters right now. There is something about imagining the life of a princess in danger and a dashing, strong man to protect her. It definitely feeds those

Traci Hunter Abramsons suspense books are always my favorites! She has such a way of writing, it just keeps the reader wanting more. There were parts in this one that I wanted to yell at the hero or heroine to stop. But, of course, they couldnt hear me.

This book will stand alone just great. However, it will make more sense if youve read Royal Target, Royal Secrets and Royal Brides first.

This one features Princess Cassandra of Sereno. Its always fun to imagine the life of a princess. And

Royal Heir is a fantastic kick off to a new series for author Traci Hunter Abramson. The story is set in the beautiful Mediterranean and has royals, suspense, and romance. In this story, Abramson has an excellent plot with characters that readers will love. And the story builds upon itself with the turn of each page. Readers will love the chills that this book gives them, whether from the spine tingling excitement of stolen gems to the thrilling romance. This story will immediately grab the

Things really heat up on the Mediterranean in Traci Hunter Abramsons newest series. Meet the royals of Sereno, where stolen gems, fake romance, and trade embargoes are just the beginning of things to come. This fast-paced novel will keep you on your toes from the first page to the last.

I literally love everything Traci Hunter Abramson has written. She has written many different series and Royal Heir is book 4 in "The Royals". It's been a few years since book 3 was released, so I was very thrilled when I knew this book was coming out.

I love reading books about royalty and this series is about contemporary royalty. What little girl doesn't dream at one time or another of being a princess? In Royal Heir, the story revolves around Princess Cassandra of Sereno. Someday she will be

The following is my honest review of an advanced copy I was given of Royal Heir by Traci Hunter Abramson:

Ive been waiting a really long time to read this book. Ever since I read the authors Royal series which includes Royal Target, Royal Secrets, and Royal Brides Ive been wanting to see the character Levi Marin get his own happily ever after story. Traci has finally made my desires happen and she did not disappoint me. In fact, according to the author, this book is going to be a start of a brand

Traci Hunter Abramson is continuing her Royal series with Royal Heir. This is a new royal family but some characters are familiar. It can be a stand alone book, but if you've read the first books you will find a deeper character development.

I enjoyed this book (I'm one reader who hasn't read the first books) and definitely loved how the romance part was throughout the book. You learn who the guilty party is near the beginning of the book but the mystery lies in why he committed the crime and how

4.5 Stars Great Romantic Suspense

You can never go wrong with a novel by the talented Traci Hunter Abramson. She really knows her stuff and does extensive research when writing a novel, and it shows in her attention to detail and plot buildup.

I loved this princess and bodyguard storyline. It helps if youve read the books in her Royal series, as you understand more of the characters and their histories better, but you dont have to read those beforehand.

I loved the suspense and mystery in this

Everything I have come to know and love about Abramson's books is in Royal Heir and then some! Royal Heir steps it up to the next level with the romance and the complete mystery as to who was trying to kill Princess Cassandra and why they would want to. The chemistry between Cassie and Levi could be felt through the pages! Levi was completely handsome, brave, and protective. He was the one you would want to have protecting you if someone was out to kill you! The mystery was the best part of the ...more

This was the first book I have read by this author and it will definitely not be the last! Levi is an undercover CIA agent and Cassie is a princess, next in line for the throne. Together they have to figure out who is trying to assassinate Cassie and take over the country.
I loved that the story was told from multiple viewpoints - even the villian's -yet there was still mystery and suspense in trying to figure everything out.

Another fantastic romantic suspense novel by the talented Traci Hunter Abramson; Royal Heir is sure to delight fans and leave them satisfied.
Royal Heir picks up after Royal Brides in Abramson's Royal series. While it could work as a standalone, many characters, including the hero Levi Marin, will have a lot more depth if you have read the other three novels in the series first. It was so fun to return to the kingdom of Meridia and be introduced to the kingdom of Sereno. At first, I worried this

I'm always excited with Traci Hunter Abramson comes out with a new book...especially when it's part of a series I enjoy. I couldn't wait to get my hands on this one, but I will admit that I never gave Levi much thought in the other books. I think I thought Allen and his bomb sniffing dog would get the next book, so I was pleasantly surprised.

I don't think you would need to read the other books in the series before you read Royal Heir. It would be more enjoyable for you because you understand

I really needed this book. It helped to take my mind off of all the uncertainty going on in the world around me. I needed an escape from the news.

The setting is a kingdom in the Mediterranean. Traci Hunter Abramson describes the scene vividly, it makes e want to visit. For now, I will do so vicariously in the pages of the book. :)

Someone is trying to kill the Crowned Princess. In an attempt to shelter her from harm, her father sends her to a neighboring kingdom where she meets Levi, an

I love these books by Traci Hunter Abramson! They have the perfect combination of romance and action. I felt this was more romance than action, but I loved the good characters! While it was hard to believe that a Princess would fall in love with a commoner, I guess it happens, even in real life. I liked the mystery and it was nice that there wasn't some big conspiracy theory. I had an enjoyable time reading. This book is clean, but not really religious. Some characters are from previous books, ...more

When it is determined to be an attempt on Cassandra 's life, she and her sisters are put in safe keeping until the mystery is solved. Cassandra is put in the care of CIA Agent Levi Marin. I have read other "Royal" books by this author but they can be read as stand alone stories. She is an incredible author and I love her books!

The chapters alternate between different characters and their view's of current events, but the story mostly focuses on Princess Cassi and Levi. Nice steady plot with lots of interesting characters, beautiful setting and lots of suspense from beginning to end.

I really enjoyed this clean, on the edge of your set, romantic suspense royal story! Highly

Wow! What a great book! This is the first book by Traci Hunter Abramson that I have read and I am glad that I picked it up. This book draws you in from the first page and keeps your attention the whole time. You want to know who the bad guy is and how the hero and heroine defeat him. I also loved the romance in the book between a commoner and a princess. I thought Traci did a great job of balancing both the romance and suspense aspects of her book. I look forward to picking up others of her ...more

After assassin attempt on princess Cassie she is sent to neighboring kingdom where she meets her new bodyguard Liam. Than that's where the suspense and romance begin. Of course there are other twists and turns in this book, but author Traci Hunter Abramson wraps them all up by the end. A great addition to the Royal series. More of a spin off series to the first 3 books. Characters from the first 3 books appear in this book as side characters. After reading this book I believe and hope she will ...more

As always, a new Traci Hunter Abramson book makes me drop everything and stay up way too late to read it. This is no exception. This could be considered the fourth book in her "Royal" series but also stands alone well. Abramson can take the most incredible situations (two new countries near the Mediterranean that you didn't know were there, CIA agents, royal families, plots involving rare jewels and lost documents, etc.) and make them credible and suspenseful and fun. She also manages to create ...more

So glad Levi got a story!

As with most of her books, I waited anxiously for this one and read it within a day. So much fun! I thought the Royal series has ended, but it was a fun way to pick it back up. A princess needing protection from assassination, two possible motives with no clear suspect, a royal puzzle, and a handsome bodyguard make for a fantastic and exciting romance. If Abramson doesn't continue the series with the other two princesses I will be extremely disappointed!

As always, Traci has done a wonderful job! I love how you can always picture in your mind the characters she uses because the detail is there. Not only with just the characters but also the surroundings and the events taking place. The mystery and intrigue are also there, which I love. And, you can't forget that little touch of romance. Excellent story line and compilation of characters. Well done Traci!

Another Royal joy

I love all of her books, but the Royal series is my favorite. It was wonderful to revisit a few characters from earlier in the series. The new characters were well developed and very enjoyable to get to know. The plot was intreguing and the suspense in it was enjoyable. There were a few twists I didn't see coming and I always enjoy that. Can't wait for the next one in the series!

From someone who didn't read any of the other books in this series, I still enjoyed it. There are references to events and relationships that happened in the previous books, but they're explained enough that I didn't feel confused at all (just interested to read the other books too).

I recommend this one to anyone who enjoys suspenseful romance, especially with intense security around royalty.

Keeps your interest

I would recommend this book to those that like a romance with a little mystery. I like that her books are clean, not focused on sexual activity for the romances.
There was a little predictability in the book however, I didn't mind it. I had to make myself stop reading at places so I could get some things done.

Another favorite author - it was especially nice to listen to this story read by a woman with the accents to go with the characters - another love story, CIA agent and kings, princes and princesses galore, treachery in the extended family that will commit murder to gain the throne that he fills he is being denied.

After reading Tracis previous books: Royal Target, Royal Secrets, and Royal Brides I sat down to read Royal Heir knowing it was Levis story which I was really excited for since he was featured in the three previous novels.
The flow of the book was great. The book kept my interest throughout the pages with the climatic events that seemed to come regularly. The ultimate climax in the book was great since it was a little more intense than the other minor events.
I loved the character development and

Since I won the contest that got me an early copy of this book, have I read it twice? Yes, just finished the 2nd reading.
Is it as good as the other books in the Royal series? Sad to say no.
Is it still worth reading? Most Definitely!!

This was a cute book. A bit predictable, but I think that comes with this genre. I wouldn't read it again, but it was a nice change of pace from what I usually read (historical fiction, non-fiction, and self-improvement).
