Discrimination is alive and well. They should’ve specified that this book is for seniors who are really really stupid.

First a disclaimer. I really wanted the windows 10 for dummies book, but every copy both in print and digital was already checked out at all three librarys to which I hold a library card. This was the only windows 10 book they had available.

They actually go through how to turn the PC on. Unbelievable at the end of the first chapter they actually direct the reader to take a break before reading chapter 2. Apparently senior citizens can’t read more than 16 pages without needing a nap.

Just basics. For total novices, which I'm not, but someone who isn't interested at all in computers, but just wants to do stuff that they need a computer to do and needs step by step instructions would be okay with this.

Reading this showed me that I'm not such a senior dummy. After recently updating from Windows 7 to Windows 10 I grabbed this book out of the library, but found that I had already worked my way through most of the basics contained in the text.

Good book, even more basic than the non-seniors version

Prepping for my windows 10 class at the library Tuesday with a book for my expected audience in order to know how and what to teach them.
