There’s only one thing you need to know about Scarsdale High.
The Royals rule here.

We say when to jump and how high, and the rest follow like lemmings because to do otherwise is social suicide.

As cheer captain, I have everything I’ve ever wanted, including Scarsdale’s star quarterback, Navrin Fox.

There’s just one problem … his twin brother.

Lev Fox knows exactly how to push my buttons—he’s been doing it since childhood, after all—but when I give into my baser instincts and let the boy I hate best me in a battle of wills, it’s not only my reputation as Queen Bee on the line, it’s my heart too.

Secrets, betrayal, and lies—that’s what we Royals do best.
But no one ever said anything about love.

They slept together even though she was his brother’s girlfriend. He took her virginity

He has sex with another girl and she gets turned on
She sleeps with her boyfriend and gets turned on when she sees the assehole “H” watching them

She hates him but continues to sleep with her boyfriends twin.

They are finally caught out.....and I was happy when she was treated like shit by everyone because she was a shitty person to do that to such a wonderful boyfriend.

This book had two of the worst main leads I have read this year so far. Neither of them had any morals or a sense of loyalty. Her boyfriend didn’t deserve to have a cheating bitch like her and a shitty brother like the so called “H”. Honestly I feel sick remembering this book and no way am I going to read any continuing books in this series especially if it’s about Kingston and Saint that manwhores!!

I need bleach to wipe out this book from memory!

4-4.5 ”LEV and SCOUT” stars ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

Lev’s not a king or a knight coming to save me. He’s the enemy who’ll set the castle walls on fire.

This book was amazing. It was downright intense, filthy, so fucking angsty and unputdownable. It was by a new to me author and she did an excellent job of making me fall in love with her writing. I have read my fair share of angsty high school romance and this has become one of my favourite. These royals are twisted and so bloody hot.

I slap him, hard. The sound rings through the room but he doesn’t flinch. I raise my arm again but he grabs my wrist, his fingers digging into my flesh. “You get one free hit, Cub. The rest will cost you.”
“Cost me what ?” I sneer.
“A taste, a kiss and a long hard fuck.”
I narrow my eyes and glare, but I can’t hide my desire, or the way my core tightens when he says, “Fuck.”

I didn’t have high expectations in the beginning but after a while when things started heating up, I was hooked. Although it says it’s a bully romance, I felt it was light on that but still dealt with other serious issues. This book will definitely push your boundaries and if cheating is something you can’t handle, then maybe this one is not for you.

We meet Scout who is the queen among the royals. She has been friends with twin fox brothers and in love with one of them. She’s always wanted Navrin but her chemistry has always been with Lev. Lev and her have always been at each other’s throat. There’s always been a lot of push and pull with a constant undercurrent of sexual tension. I’ll be honest I really didn’t like her in the beginning but then she grew on me. Past her front, you can see that she’s a caring and an emotional person.

”You took my first kiss, my first orgasm, just like you took my virginity on your kitchen counter ...with your twin brother outside.”
“Scout—“
“I guess you’re collecting all my firsts, so here’s another. You, Lev fox, are my first and only regret.”

Lev was the perfect bad boy that we love falling for. He was sexy, filthy, mean and with such a dirty mouth. I loved him more than I loved scout. I loved how he pushed her, cared for her and loved her. He’s always been in love with her and you could see his pain of watching her with his twin brother instead.

”we’re so fucked up, Cub. Every time I look at you, I see what I took from him. I don’t want to love you.”
“I know.”
“But I do. I love you so much it’s destroying me.”
“I know that too.”

Both of their struggle was real. Scout was with Nav for all the wrong reasons. You could see she clearly belonged with Lev. There love was messy, leaving so much damage in their way. What I loved was how they stood for each other. They were unable to stay away from each other. Their chemistry was off the charts. There was so much heat. I just couldn’t stop reading and imagine being a part of their crew.

I can’t wait to read about other royals stories. I am itching to read their stories and hoping that the author comes out with them soon. I can’t recommend this series enough. It’s off to an amazing start. ♥️

"The queen has fallen, taken off the board by a pawn, and now she’s nothing. Less than nothing. I’m just another stupid girl so blinded by power, by love, that I forgot to harden my heart. I forgot that to love is to be ruined, and now there’s no way to come back from it."

Nat and Lev are twin brothers, smokingly hot twin brothers. Scout is a girl who has had a crush on Nat since her childhood, and Lev, he has had a crush on Scout since forever.

As the years pass, Scout and Nat are dating. Where Nat is sweet and kind, Lev is hard and brooding. Lev wants her badly, Nat's got her, but who's going to keep her?

This is an erotic tale of love triangle, which is tainted by lies, secrets and betrayal. And you're going to love it!

This book grabbed my attention from the onset. I immediately knew the book would be an enemies to lovers theme. Though not a love triangle per se, the story entailed two identical twins, Navrin and Lev, in love with the heroine, Scout. The more darker in temperament, Lev, was secretly attracted to the Scout, vowing to claim her when they were young while taunting her through new adulthood. Scout was dating and believed herself in love with the more calm, sweet Navrin and an enemy of Lev, though likely secretly attracted to him as well.

What the storyline rendered well:
- Dark themes
- An accomplished, non-impoverished heroine, with flaws. She admits to being bitchy. She was the queen bee in school.
- Creative bullying, some of which were the heroine's comeuppance.
- Dynamics among the characters -- the heroine and Navrin and Lev, the side characters and their contribution to the story.
Steaminess; forbidden, smoldering hot love scenes , and the tangible chemistry between the characters.
- Pace: The book read at a great pace, neither a slow burn nor too fast.

What detracted from the book:
- There was a bit too much unbalanced violence in the story, particularly against one of the enemy side characters. Definitely he was deserving of punishment -- and the sentiment of retaliation is understood, but since he did not actually succeed, the retribution was over the top for the attempted crime.

What destroyed the book:
There was blatant racism in this book. The author depicted the one biracial character, King, ascribing societal, derogatory stereotypes and clichés to his character:
"His mom's a white-trash junkie and his dad is in jail -- when he's not beating the shit out of women and children that is."

King was also portrayed as a pervert because he liked to watch, Almost every character in the story participated in untraditional acts, including Saint, Scout's brother, who practiced knife play, a fetish (or perversion). Of course, King was not wealthy like the rest in the group. He was not a member of "school royalty," for "obvious reasons." He was the proverbial black friend to the privileged, popular group. (Yes, his character was called out as a "black man" while no one other's race was mentioned, whether it could have been inferred or not. Then again, he was actually biracial.) He was the hard-up personage. He was often offered a place to sleep and food. Finally, he only spoke urban as that diction must only be particular to African American people.

Unfortunately, with racism coloring the storyline, any enthusiasm I felt from that point on was lost. If you don't know how to write diversity, skip it; or better, hire someone to read for sensitives and offense. Prejudice ruined this book and discredited the author and her writing. No thank you to this kind of "diversity."

Oh my, oh my. I don’t even know where to begin with this review but what I do know is that I am officially out of my book slump!! And the first book in the Scarsdale Royals series sure didn’t gently pull me out of my slump. Oh no. It grabbed me by the hair, yanked me out and took me on one hell of a crazy and wild ride. V. Darling, where the hell have you been all of my book loving life? This book is so well written and chocked full of angst, drama, betrayal, bully romance and then topped off with a super hot love triangle. Oh yeah and there’s twins...gorgeous ones. Need I say more?

“He’ll throw me to the lions, feed me to the gators in the moat, and burn me at the stake before he’d ever kneel at my feet. And if I’m not careful, I’ll let him take my crown, because love makes fools of even the strongest queens.”

The Royals are the elite, the rich and entitled who rule the halls of Scarsdale High. And their Queen and King sit high on their thrones. Scout has been in love with Nav since she was eight years old and asked him to be her first kiss. Too bad his twin Lev was the one who stole that kiss. But they’ve come a long way from then and now Scout is the captain of the cheerleaders who walks the halls with her sexy quarterback boyfriend Nav at her side. Lev may have gotten her first kiss but Nav owns her heart.

“You think I haven’t seen the way you look at her?”
“And how do I look at her?”
“Like she’s yours, and I’m just borrowing her.”

Nav is the most popular boy in school. The king of the elite and Scout loves him and her crown but she can’t seem to get Lev off of her mind or keep him out of her bed. Lev is the definition of rich, hot and entitled bad boy. He spends most of his time in the pool house with random girls who will do anything for their chance with him but what he really wants is Scout by his side. But she belongs to his brother, right? Not as far as Lev is concerned. Scout and Lev have an insanely hot love/hate relationship that leans way over on the “I hate you but really just want to throw you down and take you right here” side. It’s crazy hot and the scenes between them are super intense. What happens when the Queen of the Royals lets the Dirty Prince have all her firsts? Some secrets don’t stay buried for long and when you betray those closest to you we see how easily a Kingdom can crumble.

“The Queen has fallen, taken off the board by a pawn, and now she’s nothing. Less than nothing. I’m just another stupid girl so blinded by power, by love, that I forgot to harden my heart. I forgot that to love is the be ruined, and now there’s no way to come back from it.”

I absolutely loved the first book in Scarsdale Royals series. Every crazy, intense, twisted word had me devouring the pages. I also loved both Fox brothers. I haven’t read a love triangle this good in a long time and was honestly so torn on who I hoped Scout would end up with. Nav was so sweet and loved Scout so much. As much as I loved the steamy parts with Scout and Lev, I also found myself cringing at times because I loved Nav. But then I also loved Lev. He had loved Scout forever and had to throw the whole I hate you vibe out there to protect his heart and try and stay away from his brother’s girl. This is the girl who in his mind belonged to him first. Scout took me a little while to love because at times I wanted to throat punch some sense into her...but she grew on me. The secrets, betrayals and lies run deep in this book. Will the Queen get her crown back and if she does what brother will rule by her side? I loved this book and these characters. I can’t wait to see what the author has in store for us in the next book in the Scarsdale Royal Series!

“Her kisses belong to me. All of her kisses. Forever. Scout Taylor is mine.”

*First time reading author

So I was excited to read this book. I love bully romance and high school/college stories. But this book had nothing that I wanted to read when it came to this type of book. I saw that it had to do with twin brothers, HELLO it is in the blurb. I am not stupid. BUT I assumed something totally different then what I read.

I do not go for cheating or racism and this book had both. I just can not abhor for either and when it started and continued I was done. I stopped reading. I did not finish this book.

I had been looking forward to reading this book as I am into the whole bullymance trope at the moment. Dirty Prince is a love triangle tale of a girl - Scout and two twin brothers - Lev and Nav Fox. They first met when they were younger and though Lev has always had a crush on Scout, she kept picking Nav. It didn't matter though of course as somehow all her first moments were stolen by Lev. As the pair got older, they still hung together as a crowd with Scout on the arm of Nav and Lev became her arch-nemesis. During their senior year though, Scout starts to fall for Lev and the pair start a torrid affair as she can't make up her mind to which brother to be with as she loves them both dearly. Lev - her bad boy and Nav - the good guy (two sides of a coin). What will happen though when someone starts blackmailing her about Lev and Nav finds out and it causes him to spiral out of control? Did Scout make the right decision and choose the right brother to be with or has she made a mistake and ruined her current status? Overall, I wasn't too impressed with this book as I felt that Scout was just stringing along with both boys and acted like a spoilt brat. I am in two minds about continuing with the series as the other books featuring their friends Kingston and Saint who are just as big of players as Scout, to be honest, I'm surprised none of them have an STD with the number of sex orgies that this book had in the pool house. If you are in the mood for a cheating love triangle novel, then check out Dirty Prince by V. Darling today.

This book! AH! This book was packed with sizzling chemistry and I loved it! It’s a high school bullyish romance between the Queen Bee of the Scarsdale Royals, Scout Taylor, and her boyfriends twin brother, Lev Fox. Growing up as neighbors, Scout always crushed on, Navrin Fox, the sweet and caring twin of the Fox brothers. The hate she’s held towards Lev has always been as constant as her love for the other twin, until one day that changes.

“𝘠𝘰𝘶 𝘨𝘦𝘵 𝘰𝘯𝘦 𝘧𝘳𝘦𝘦 𝘩𝘪𝘵, 𝘊𝘶𝘣. 𝘛𝘩𝘦 𝘳𝘦𝘴𝘵 𝘸𝘪𝘭𝘭 𝘤𝘰𝘴𝘵 𝘺𝘰𝘶.” “𝘊𝘰𝘴𝘵 𝘮𝘦 𝘸𝘩𝘢𝘵?” 𝘐 𝘴𝘯𝘦𝘦𝘳.
“𝘈 𝘵𝘢𝘴𝘵𝘦, 𝘢 𝘬𝘪𝘴𝘴, 𝘢𝘯𝘥 𝘢 𝘭𝘰𝘯𝘨, 𝘩𝘢𝘳𝘥 𝘧𝘶𝘤𝘬.”

Yup, this makes for one hell of a love triangle! And not the kind where the author makes you hate the significant other or one of the other characters. I loved each character, flaws and all!

The romance between Lev and Scout felt forbidden and exciting! Though it initially comes off as purely physical chemistry, it quickly morphed into a deeper need for both characters. I’m not ashamed to say I loved every minute of it and I didn’t want it to end.

Overall, a 5 star read for me because I enjoyed it from beginning to end! A few cringe worthy (unprotected sex, surprise anal, & cheating) and triggery moments (sexual assault and a revenge scene with duck tape & dildos) but this book still worked for me!

I’m so excited for more books on the Scarsdale Royals! Definitely Recommend. The titles for the rest of the series are given at the end of this book and it looks like each Royal gets their own story. I need Saint’s book NOOOOW!

Whew.
This book brought way more heat than I was anticipating.

Anyways. Right off the bat, I didn’t love Scout. There, I said it. She was got everything you expect the ‘Queen Bee’ to be. Spoiled, entitled, rude, and it just didn’t float my boat.

But the boys?
Lev may have been a jerk, but he was a jerk certain that he was in love with Scout, and that he wanted to be with her, even though she wasn’t his.

Nav had all of my affection, and my sympathy for a good while, and then, that changed quickly. I no longer wanted to throw him a pity party, but wanted him to get his life together.

This all being said, this book brought me all the angst I could ever need, and gave me all the feels I expect from this particular trope.

Definitely recommend.

Jesus Christ! Childbirth was less painful and traumatic for me than reading this book! 🤣🤦🏼‍♀️ I'm not going to give it a star rating because once again, it doesn't seem fair to the author because I a) knew that they both had sex with other people after having sex with each other ahead of time and chose to read anyways b) The writing wasn't that terrible, this book just somehow nailed all of my triggers, pet peeves and things I hate most in a book. First of all, not a single person in this book is likeable except maybe the brother they fucked over by fucking each other. The h was unashamedly a terrible human being and a complete bitch. The H was angry, spiteful and cruel. Starts out with them 8 years old and Scout crying over the twin brother rejecting her request for a first kiss and Lev, the H stealing the kiss from her instead. Then we jump forward to highschool and all of them being snobby entitled assholes. The h was every cliche mean girl from every teen movie we've seen. The H was a fuckboi. So the h is dating the H's twin brother after apparently being into him all her life. They're at a party where her boyfriend is being sweet, attentive, possessive and all that and she goes into the kitchen to get a drink and he comes up behind her and starts feeling her up and fingering her, she turns around and realizes it's not her boyfriend, it's his twin brother. So what does she do? Begs him to fuck her, even though she's a virgin and has held out on her boyfriend for a year. They fuck, immediately insult each other then walk away from each other. Next we see her get a note, seemingly from her boyfriend, telling her to come to pool house, but instead the H's great plan to win her is to lure her there so she can watch him fuck another girl....greeeeeat, just love that. So then the h grabs the other twin, her boyfriend and fucks him for the first time out of revenge and as he's going down on her, H walks in and sees them. Even better! So then the rest of the book pretty much is them being as mean as possible to each other and everyone else and sneaking off to betray the poor twin brother as often as they can. I kept waiting for the dirt in the boyfriend to drop to justify their heinous behvaior. I thought maybe he was secretly gay or fucking the step mom or cheating on her the whole time or abusing her or even treating her less than a queen or SOMETHING, but nothing. The boyfriend was pretty much the best guy to ever exist. Anyways, they finally get caught and a video is sent out to the whole school and she is immediately ostracized and skit shamed by everyone. She gets sexually assaulted and almost raped right after the video is leaked by the person who leaked the videos, but here comes the H to stop him. He takes her home. Later that night the poor, drunk af boyfriend comes over to the house, not to his girlfriend apologizing or trying to explain or anything, but to his brother and girlfriend laying naked in bed together 🙄 So he, with some truly understandable reasoning, calls her a whore, the H starts beating him up and then says "Did you know she was sexually assaulted? Well, now everyone is big mad about this and when the boyfriend hears this, he flies into a rage, steals a car and goes off to beat up the dude who sexually assaulted the h, who he just found out has been fucking his brother behind his back. The wrong character was named Saint, I'm just saying, shoulda been that guy. Only problem is he's drunk AF and ends up getting into a huge crash that breaks his leg, puts him in a coma and ends his football career. Up until now this book was already painful for me, I hate cheating, I hate seeing the MC's sleep with other people, I DESPISE them fucking other people in front of each other on purpose, so the next part made me go nuclear. So after he's treated the h like shit for years, tricked her, seduced her, purposely fucked another girl in front of her, caused the whole school to hate and bully her, indirectly ruined his brother's life and his relationship with the h, he *NOW* decides he's going to leave...say it with me now "For her own good" 🙄🤦🏼‍♀️🙄🤦🏼‍♀️🙄🤬 He just leaves her there. To deal with it all on her own and then has the balls to pretend like he's trying to look out for her. What the fuck ever dude. THEN! THE FINAL THING I HATE MORE THAN ANYTHING! A time jump, then ANOTHER time jump, a bunch of back and forth where he abandons the h for months only to come back several times, draws her in to talking to him to tell her what he already told her, which is that "they can never be together" The h is a horrible mean person and yet I somehow still feel sorry for her and how she's having to carry the whole brunt of the bullshit HE caused! We have to see the poor sweet, now ex-boyfriend in the hospital sharing how much he loved her and how heartbroken he is over everything. In the last chapter, in a very anticlimactic finish, the H comes back and is like "Heeeeeey, now that it's been months and every thing has blown over, I realize I was wrong and we should be together. The h immediately takes him back with no grovel, no wrap up or additional information, just IMMEDIATELY to another fucking time jump, this time 4 YEARS later, they're living together, acting like a rom-com perfect couple, she's studying to be a lawyer and he's in the NFL. Wait WHAT? It was mentioned he was on the football team only once in passing, whereas his brother LIVES for football and now he's in the NFL? What in the actual fuck? He proposes, its "magical" she accepts and they live UEA (unfortunately ever after) Whew! The relief I felt when this book was finished, let me tell you. I should have quit before, I shouldn't have even picked it up honestly, but sometimes my book masochist tendencies get the best of me, so here we are. The writing was okay, it was mercifully short, while not being short enough, the characters didn't have much noticeable development, we were told a lot of things, but not shown much of anything except insults and betrayal. If I was giving it my own personal rating it would be negative stars, but like I said, most of this isn't the authors fault, it's my own hang ups, so I won't leave a star rating. Bleh, off to do something more enjoyable like have a root canal or watch teenagers kick puppies.

‘She’s the kind of poison that kills you swiftly, with all the venom of a Black Widow, and it’s the sweetest death any man could ask for.‘

4/5 ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

Absolutely Loved this!!! Wow, I think I’ve gained a case of reviewers block (if that’s not a thing, totally is now). I’m torn between revealing all the secrets of this book and keeping this review short and sweet. Lets go with the latter.

I was surprised at how much I enjoyed this book because I am not one for a love triangle, especially ones that shatter my heart 😭😭 but this one was definitely hot and steamy *wipes sweat* Even the side characters were super sexy, there’s something dark and mysterious about Scout’s brother

So, Scout is the heroine, totally badass and borderline b**chy, but somehow I like her character. I think because this side of her is just a facade and deep down she has a big heart.
Then there’s Nav, he’s Scouts boyfriend and he’s super dupe hot and sweet and everything a girl can want in a boyfriend, lets not forget the Star QB, but he’s not who Scout needs.

Scout needs someone like her who’s just as naughty and saucy as she is and I think she finds that in Lev, Nav’s twin brother😱😱😱 I know right!! Anyway, Lev is the male version of Scout -
Despite Scout’s best efforts to keep her distance from Lev, she keeps on gravitating towards him - I know what you’re thinking, this book smells a lot like betrayal... Read it and find out!!!!

Dirty Prince is one fast paced, dirty, friends to lovers’ book. The story centres around Scout, Lev and Nav. All three of the are royalty at Scarsdale High and practically rule the whole scene. Scout is cheer captain and is dating twin Nav Fox, the only problem in this set up is his twin brother Lev who knows exactly how to push Scout’s buttons and boy does he do it. Putting her head and heart on the line, Scout needs to decide what is worth fighting for, love or being Queen Bee.

This book is an edge of your seat read. We flip backwards and forwards between Scout and Lev’s relationship and at times it is quite cruel and they can be quite cruel to each other. It is almost as though Lev is obsessed with Scout and you see it through the writing on the pages.

This novel is full of angst and drama and you never quite know what is going to happen to Scout until the very end. Even with the support of her friends and brother, she still had a long way to fall. There are moments when you feel really sorry for Scout but at times she can be quite harsh to people so I felt that my sympathy came and went in waves, especially when it came to how she treat both of the brothers, especially when she didn’t really think about the consequences. It was refreshing to see that the hero/heroine of this book were in the same social class and boy did that make a difference when it came to this story as it showed you how quickly you could be on the outer if you didn’t follow certain rules.

Scenes between Lev and Scout are smoking hot and I really liked the twists in the latter part of the story. It has left me wondering who is going to be next in this series. If you like your books full of angst, heartbreak, sexy scenes and some Dawson’s Creek style drama, then this is the book for you!

ARC received for a fair, honest and sometimes long review 😊

V. Darling is a new to me author (and it looks like a new author in general) and, despite a pretty full review schedule, I was too intrigued by the blurb of Dirty Prince to pass it up. I have to say that I wasn't at all disappointed. At first glance Dirty Prince is yet another installment in the interminable parade of high school enemies to lovers bully romance trope. However, V. Darling managed to create a deliciously addictive story full of angst, drama, friendship and so much hot and dirty action! This book is definitely not y/a, nor is it for the faint of heart. I am such a sucker for a bad boy with a heart and so, while I felt like I didn't really get to know Nav very well, I completely adored Lev. It took me longer to warm up to Scout and, if I chose to be picky, I would say that her character could use a bit more depth. Having said that, she did work as the spoiled poor little rich girl she was meant to portray and Ms. darling did develop her character and allowed her to come into her own by the end of the book. The push and pull and the chemistry between these two is electric. I really enjoyed small glimpses into their childhood. The brothers angle also worked really well for me and I liked how V. Darling handles the fallout and the aftermath. All in all, this is a delicious and hot drama filled guilty pleasure read not to be missed! I'm also super curious about other characters' books (I'm looking at you Saint).

5 Fanning Myself Stars!!! What a sexy, passionate read full of heart and heat!

Wow... V. Darling was just the author I needed to get my heart racing and my blood pumping!! Dirty Prince is not like the other bully romances you've read, oh no... it's so much different. It's full of heat and heart. I was sucked in the second I started reading! With most books I have to put it down and take a break, Dirty Prince is by far the exception. I didn't stop reading until the end and it was worth every minute!!! I can't wait to read more!

With all the 5 star reviews I was looking forward to this read. Unfortunately it was just okay. I love the triangle trope and this missed the mark for me.

Great chemistry

I gave it a four but really it’s more like a 3 1/2 the story wasn’t flushed out enough.

I felt like it was more of a fanfic than an actual book is very rushed I just felt like something was missing. I will give credit that the chemistry between the couple was built up and really believable and I really enjoyed the little flashback it was really cute but I wasn’t too invested in the ending it’s very predictable how it was going to play out and I felt like there wasn’t a lot of follow up in regards to what happened to the other character

Also there were two villains but only one was really addressed. I felt like they could’ve easily just went to the cops instead of doing what they did which was a lot, there was also no follow up in regards to what happened to him after everything they did to him it just felt really incomplete.

I do you think the author is it actually a really good writer and for first book I think it’s good at least I think it’s her first book

This book is an enemies-to-loves tale but, it’s also a second chance love story.
Lev and Scout (cub)
Lev has always loved Scout since she wrote a note to his twin brother brother wanting him to kiss her. His brother ticked the ‘no’ box thus devastating Scout.
Lev, upset at his brother, takes up the mantel and kisses his eight year old friend.
That kiss sets off an (at first on Lev part)unrequited love that lasts nine years.
Until one night at a high school party where all the Royals of Scarsdale attend and in one moment of passion Lev takes an opportunity to once again kiss Scout, thus setting in motion a burning obsession between the two, where Lev claims all of Scouts firsts....Unfortunately Lev is not Scouts boyfriend or, the boy she’s been obsessing over...that honour belongs to Lev,s twin Navrin.
As Lev and Scouts relationship heats up, Navrin and Scout’s drifts, much to Nav’s dismay.
It isn’t long before the hidden dirty secret between his brother and girlfriend is revealed amongst the other Royals and the school with horrible consequences for everyone involved.

This book was well written. The characters well developed (it will be interesting finding out about the hidden secret of the other members of the Royals)
The story, although fairly standard high school fare, still kept me interested because of the character development.
Also,...is it just me or do all novels have to have the happy ever after wedding/ proposal scene at epilogue.
Sometimes I wish authors would leave things a little more open. I wanted an alternate ending that wasn’t so happy. Four stars

✨I received an ARC in exchange for an honest review ✨

I don’t really know how to evaluate this book because sometimes while reading it I did find the storyline interesting and intense and other times I just wanted to stop reading it since it got so ridiculous and predictable. My conclusion is that the author tried to hard making the story different from all the other high school bully romances out there (there are a whole lot of them) to the point that the story missed the essence of the novel because there are really good topics that could have been developed within the story that would have made it stand out from the rest of the bully romances.

Lev give Scout her first kiss at the age of eight and makes a promise that she is his forever. A couple of years later they are both part of the popular clique that rule the school, Scout is now dating Lev´s twin brother Navrin, Lev and Scout form a hate with lust relationship . Betray, lies and lots of teenage drama are about to change their last year in high school.

The novel did had a lot of steam and chemistry between the characters but the storyline as whole left me with a few questions since there are some contradictions and doubtful happenings that didn’t made the book credible. As I mentioned at the beginning I was very unsure how to rate it , it was between a 2 and 3 , but since V.Darling did succeed to make the side characters so interesting that I do want to read about them I’m giving it a 3.

As soon as she met the Fox brothers Scout knew her heart was in trouble, Lev stole her first kiss, but it was Navrin who first captured her heart, and eventually owned it when they began dating. But Lev wasn't so happy about his brother stealing his girl, and his attitude towards them showed it, so much that Scout began to wonder if he really hated her.

But little does she know he is just waiting for the perfect moment to strike, and take back what was his....

Dirty Prince is a sinfully delightful page-turner that will steal your attention from the first page, it's words will grab a hold of you and not let go! I absolutely loved every single second of this one, the angst was torturous on my heart, the drama was high, and the words dripping with feeling! Watching these three tip-toe around one another, and try to mask their true feelings was rough on the feels, I seriously had no idea who would finally get to claim Scout's heart! I cannot wait to get my hands on the next installment and get a closer glimpse into the life of the next Royal who graces it's pages! If you like dramatic and gut-wrenching tales then I have no doubt you will love what you find between the pages of this one...it's got everything you could want and more!! Highly recommend!

I requested an advanced copy of this title from the publisher, and I am voluntarily leaving my honest opinion.

Overall Rating - ⭐️⭐️⭐️.5

So this was one hot, sexy quick read that I devoured.

Nav and Lev are twin brothers. Nav has the girl but Lev needs the girl. He’s loved her from afar since they were 8 but has always stayed away, although provoking and taunting her over the years into a love/hate relationship. Fast forward to now when they are 17/18 and the more he sees Nav and Scout together, the more he wants her.

One night he finally gets the chance and makes his move on Scout, not caring that she is with his brother. This encounter leads to the start of something between them that they cannot stop no matter who is going to get hurt.

Lev is a hero who makes no apology for who he is and going after what he wants. He’s got the bad boy persona that will make you weak at the knees.

I enjoyed this young adult read and it’s the first book I’ve read of Darling. There’s a good storyline with some mystery and the usual teen angst with some parts predictable. There is a good mix of side characters and the early development of their stories has me looking forward to the remaining books in the series.

ARC received for an honest review - thank you

I finished Dirty Prince a few days ago and I’m finally at a place that I can talk about it. Let me start by saying that I adore Lev. I don’t just like him or love him... I adore him. I licked him and now he’s mine. I honestly don’t think that Scout deserves him. Ok... I guess she can have him since V put them together before she knew about me.

The story mainly centers around Lev, his twin Navrin and Scout. Lev is the bad boy twin to Nav’s QB1 perfection with Scout as the cheerleader who of course is with QB1. After a few chapters you kind of knew where things were going but man... Lev can get pretty wicked. Scout... well she’s a b****. It took me a while to like her because I think she tried to hard to be that badass girl but I eventually came around. Nav is your typical perfect brother who thinks the world revolves around him.

This story kept my attention the entire time because I wanted to know how everyone was going to handle the drama. The people that you wanted to be selfless weren’t but that’s ok because the ones you didn’t expect stepped up.

If you’re looking for a simple boy meets girl and they fall in love... this is not for you. But if you want a fantastically, hot and broody book boyfriend... I might share Lev for a few days.

Dirty Prince was a bully story that I'm seriously conflicted about. Of course it has to do with teenage drama in this day & age, so I was able to keep that in the forefront of my mind for the most part, and yet, I'm still quite ick about some of the happenings. Lev & Nav are twin brothers who are night & day. Lev has had a secret crush on Nav's girlfriend, Scout, while she has always wanted Nav. Obviously it's very High School, so moving on. Lev & Scout have a hate relationship, but can't stay away from each other. He's that dude that you love to hate or hate to love, while she came off very spoiled at first. Nav is just the amazing dude who doesn't catch on to things until he does. It has her falling from grace, and now things are getting real. The secondaries are quite interesting, so I just wanted to state for the record that I hope all of them get their own stories in the future. I spent a lot of time being mad at one or the other, since they really made some bad decisions that I really didn't care, but you know, High School drama is never simple. And that's all that I really want to say because it's just better you decide for yourselves, so hit that one click button! HIGHLY RECOMMEND!

Dirty Prince is a dark highschool bully romance. It's the story of a love triangle, between the high school queen Scout Taylor, her quarterback boyfriend Navrin Fox and his twin brother Lev Fox. The plot is full of surprises, twists, angst and so many heated scenes. It is well written with dual pov and a happy ending. The main focus of this story is the love/hate/lust relationship Scout had with Lev and how it developed in time. On the sides, we saw how was her relationship with her caring boyfriend and how the Scarsdale Royals acted.

From the characters, I liked Lev and Nav but I couldn't like Scout at all and believe me I tried my best. She reminded me so much of the Queen B from Gossip Girl. Lev was a true bad boy asshole with a golden heart so it was so easy to fall for him. Nav was a sweetheart with his loving nature so I fall for him too, I hope he gets to have his own book, he deserves it.

My favorite scenes were obviously the erotic ones and the scenes from the hospital. In general, I enjoyed reading Dirty Prince and I highly recommend it, it's mind-blowing. I will rate it with 4.5 stars.

Scout has had a crush on Nav since childhood. Now in high school her dream has come true. Scout and Nav are dating and are in love.

Scout always wanted Nav to be her first in everything but his twin brother ruined that with the first kiss at eight yo.

Lev and Cub have fought since childhood. A hate relationship.

Until....

One night. Passion was released.

Cub's feelings became stronger for Lev but yet she still loved his twin. She was conflicted. Nav gave her warmth and security. Lev was her dirty prince.

When the school bee's discovered she was bedding both brothers her world started spiraling downwards.

"The queen has fallen, taken off the board by a pawn, and now she’s nothing. Less than nothing. I’m just another stupid girl so blinded by power, by love, that I forgot to harden my heart. I forgot that to love is to be ruined, and now there’s no way to come back from it."

Dirty Prince is a page turner. A web of lies, secrets and betrayal. A story you definitely will want to read.

.
Dirty Prince is my first book I read by V. Darling and will not be my last.
I need to know how the other boys become their HEA. 😋
.
Normally I don't read books where cheating or love triangles are involved, but I gave this one a try and was hooked from page one. My heart broke for little 8yo Lev, because Scout has her eyes set on his twin, Nav.
.
Over the years Lev tried his best with his 'charming' ways to win over Scout, but she still has her eyes set on his twin, while his twin seems to not really recognize her ... till one day and they became a couple.
.
But Lev still has his ways to crawl under her skin and inside of her.
Okay, I felt awful for Nav but not anymore as the story went on and I learned why he came together with Scout at first.
I felt awful for Lev because what he's done for his twin over the years.
.
I'm really happy that I gave this book a try. It's a pageturner and I rarely couldn't put it down (my kids thought otherwise so I needed to put at down at times 😜).

Love it!!!!!!

This story is for all the lovers of a good bully story, this book is just to delicious!

Lev is strong, handsome, angry football player in love with his brother girlfriend, Scout is beautiful, fierce and a queen b in school, both of them are a part of The Royals a group of privileged kids. The problem here is that Scout is dating Navrin, Levs brother but and here is a big but because Lev has been in love with her since they were little and she has loved him since before she started dating Nav and they sort of have a love/hate relationship but they are so meant to be!! and instead of talking they make a big mess out of things and have to suffer (queue the eye roll 🙄) you just want to strangle them.

This story is full of angst and drama and is so damn good you will not regret starting it, totally recommend by me! Can’t wait to read more from V. darling, This is my first read of her.

NOT WHAT I WAS EXPECTING

V. Darling took a different spin to the usual Bully Romance genre and I have to say that I am impressed and I freaking loved it! The dynamic between the characters is riveting and sucks you in from the very beginning. I love the chemistry, the love/hate, even the cheating aspect. I’m generally not of fan of cheating themes in books, tends to piss me off, but in this story the cheating just made it that much more intense. Which also makes me believe that I think I could start reading more of them, as long as they are as wonderfully written.

Dirty Prince was fantastic and I can wait to read more from V. Darling and continuing the Scarsdale Royal Series!
