Jean-Jacques Loup, born in Arles in 1936 and died in Paris on 31 July 2015, was a French comic book writer and cartoonist renowned for the swarming details in his illustrations. Beginning in 1969 as a political cartoonist, he worked for various newspapers, including l'Événement du jeudi, Le Nouvel Observateur, L'Express, Marianne, he had also worked in various magazines such as Fluide Glacial, Mormoil and Charlie Mensuel.

He produced comics, was the author of several graphic novels, and the occasional children's book. Loup illustrated jigsaw puzzle images for Heye from the 1970’s up until his death in 2015, publishing at least 59 unique puzzles, many of which have been reissued in whole or in a smaller subset of the original image.

This cartoon book hits home.
Wonderful illustrations of the ARCHITECT "conducting" construction that runs amuck.
Only to be destroyed by a giant tree. Of course they have to destroy the tree and create the mess taht we are in now.
