The future isn’t real.

The past isn’t real, either.

Only the present is, solid and full, flying at our faces, our bodies, our hearts and souls at breakneck speed as we work to take it all in.

As we work to protect others.

And, finally - ourselves.

We’ve started to break the bonds of Stateless, a system as rotten as the one it seeks to destroy. But systems are organisms with one brutal goal: to

Meli Raine is one of my favorite authors when it comes to romantic suspense. She puts a lot of thought into how one series interacts with another and has come up with a really interesting over-arching plot that has me quite hooked.

Kina and Callum are one of my favorite couples because they start off on the wrong side and stand out for what they are are at their core. They love one another even as they don’t understand how to express that love. I enjoyed reading their growth and transitions.

"You're the prettiest monster I've ever seen."

'Fateless,' the most recent release by Meli Raine, was my first exposure to her Stateless series. It's the third book in the series, and I feel like I might have enjoyed it more if I'd already been familiar with them, but it's still a page turner and if you don't mind first person narratives, this is a good quick downtime read.

From a writing

Impeccable, Intricate, Detailed and Delightful!!

This trio of books culminates with just the right amount of everything. Suspense, struggle, revelations and relationships. Stateless has raised these youngsters to remove emotion and create chaos in the “wide world”. When it is decided to kill the children, help comes from an unexpected quarter.

How can you tell who is the enemy and what is real? How can you rise above how you were raised to exist in the “real world”?

Complex characters, believable

What an epic ending!! Not only do we get the resolution and ending for Kina and Callum, but we also see the coming together of all the previous books and characters in this overall series for the answers to all the questions and understanding of things that happened even in the first book of the first sub-series. To say this was an epic book is an understatement – be prepared to have your mind blown. Although I’m definitely sad to see this series as a whole come to an end, I’m excited to see if ...more

I LOVE how Meli Raine has different trilogies that all have their own stories but then keeps chipping away at a bigger picture. I missed the first few ones, but have been absolutely riveted with the last 2 and the Stateless was even better than the False series which is saying something.

To think about a terrorist group inside of the US that has inserted themselves into the government in attempt to change everything is a wee bit terrifying. To get inside of their minds and see what THEY are

Kina and Callum have done the unthinkable when it comes to Stateless and that is to have feelings for each other. Callum has been directed as to what his role in Stateless will be which separates him from Kina while Kina is determined to do the job she has been tasked with however she is doing it her way.

As the risks continue to escalate Kina will do anything to protect those she loves even if it involves danger and deception which causes some tension in her relationship with Callum as he is

Ugh...this can't be the end! I love this huge group of misfit people and how they are so interconnected. Meli Raine has spun a horrific tale of government conspiracy that produced an organization called Stateless. Within that organization trainees Callum and Kina form a weird kind of bond that is forbidden. This is their story and their battle to fight for what they believe in. But are they truly on the right side?

Fateless is the perfect ending to this phenomenal series! If you think the heat, danger, and passion was intense in the first two books, then you are in for a wonderful treat when you see what is in store for you. Nothing is as it seems, and the danger and manipulation goes far beyond what you may have guessed. What you find is nothing short of marvelous, sinister, and incredible. It is truly something beyond words.

Kina has had her world turned upside down in the blink of an eye. All she wants

No longer living in Stateless, no longer born without a trace, and no one to rely on but fate Callum and Kina tread through life with a new agenda unlearning everything they were conditioned with. With no sides left to play they focus on learning the truth. With the truths comes the process of unlearning everything they were programmed to learn.

Fateless continues where Traceless left off with Callum and Kina escaping the compound with the kids.

What can I say? Meli Raine has me completely hooked on this continuing political intrigue saga, that is being released through a series of trilogies, this current one (the Stateless trilogy) being the sixth. Fateless is the final book of the Stateless trilogy.

As I have previously mentioned and will continue to state up front, this is NOT a standalone and should not be read prior to, at a minimum, the first two books in this trilogy. I fully recommend reading all five previous trilogies, in

This is the third and final book in the Stateless series by Meli Raine. Wow what a book it is...it is suspense filled, has lots of unexpected events that I did not see coming and it reunites lots of characters from previous books..such as Mark, Chase, Allie, Jane, Silas, Drew, Lindsay, Duff, Lily and Galt ...this book picks up where Traceless ended...trying to save all the children from the compound. Will they get them all to safety? Will Kina and Callum stay together...or will something happen ...more

Thrilling conclusion to the Stateless series. So much is revealed with shocking outcomes. I have been glued to this book since I received it.

Kina and Callum are fighting for their lives but this time they have new team mates in the form of Drew, Lindsay, Silas, Jane, Duff and Lily.

Kina is plagued by fear for the children of Stateless, as the world that they knew starts to crumble. Finding a way to keep the children safe is Kina's main priority, keeping Kina safe is Callum's. The pair now have to

I have to say I was extremely excited for this trilogy after the reveals from Duff’s story and was really into it with Stateless and Traceless, so by Fateless I was ready for answers and a fantastic conclusion. Eh, turns out that wasn’t to be the case.

About 1/3 of the way through the book anxiety started to settle in when I realized there was just too much to explain for it to all be wrapped up in this one book and I was right. There is no actual conclusion for almost all the questions brought

Wow. We all have been waiting to see how it all ends for Kina and Callum and it was all worth it.

Book 3 starts with a real zinger. Callum is not sure if Kina is Kina or is she her identical twin because she was practicing being her right before everything went down. She was doing such a good job impersonating Callum doesn't know if he can trust her. Trust is the keyword here in this story. Who do you trust? There are so many players in Stateless and Kina and Callum have to figure out who is

I'm not saying that anyone has to read the previous books, since they're about different couples, but seriously?! READ Stateless (Book 1) & Traceless (Book 2) FIRST ANYWAY, as it will make this Book 3 even better if possible not to mention all the wrap up for everyone involved! The Stateless trilogy has been full of twists & turns to where the twists are all turned upside down, with the turns all kinds of twisted up, leaving me only able to drop f-bombs! It's psychological, political ...more

You MUST read this series in order and each book is connected to the book before it. So if you expect to pick up this book and know what's going on, you really won't. So go back, read the first 2 books - I did it in a couple days before I read this book so you know what the heck is going on.

This whole series is not what I was expecting, but still completely enjoyed! The Stateless series is unlike any book I've read. It has cults, politics, psychology and of course romance although I would say

Meli Raine has done it again. In this final installment of the Stateless trilogy everything comes to a dramatic conclusion that will leave you wondering how you survived this epic rollercoaster ride and more importantly, what on earth it must feel like to live in Ms. Raine's head! With Kina pretending to be Glen, Callum is unsure which twin is really in front of him and this lack of trust pushes a wedge between the two. But with the goal of saving the kids, they must work this out and find out ...more
