So far the book is excellent. I'm on the fourth book, they are an easy read. I'm finishing bout 1-2 books a day. They keep you drawn into the story. They keep you laughing, crying, so make sure you keep a box of tissues next to you on the table. I will update the review as I get further in the book.

Ok, everyone I finally finished the book. Once I got halfway through I couldn't put it down. I found each and every one different, sexy, meaningful in their own way. It was a change-up from my normal books where the men are the heroes and the women are on their knees in front of the men. LOL. I found some new authors that I would like to try out a series or 2 of theirs. As usual, Sheri-Lynn jacked up the suspense in her book. I love all her Dragons, especially how she introduces them to the story. The great storyline and left me wanting more before I know it the end was there and it left me hanging wanting more. I can't wait for the next book to come out.

We are in Covid-Times, my friends! Some of us are running ragged trying to keep a lid on all our simmering pots, and some of us haven't got a simmering pot to occupy us. There is no normal. However, all of us can sometimes use a break from reality, and Feisty Heroines could be it.

This is a collection of romance novellas featuring strong women, gathered into one place for your convenience. Here is an assortment of mixed genres: romance/scifi, romance/fantasy, romance/apocalypse/fantasy, romance/realism, and more. These are tasteful romances with a lovely selection of intensities: do you like your tea steeped an extra long few minutes, or piqued with zesty lemons, or mildly translucent, or blended with cream and two cubes of sugar?

The contributing writers come from a wide range of backgrounds. At the end of each piece the writer provides a biography and list of other bits they've written so you can search out more books by your favourites. Also, the net profits from Fiesty Heroines go to organizations which are reliably working on solutions to Covid-19 problems. Win-win.

Feisty Heroines is perfect for fifteen minutes with tea the way you like it while the baby naps, or to disappear for an afternoon on your deck after your morning of Zoom meetings. Enjoy!

An amazing collection of eclectic romances. This book of short stories has it all. Love at first sight, friends to lovers, paranormal, mystery and shifters. Each story made me sometimes wonder, what happened before the characters met, tell me more about the background, what started the war or what happens in between love and then marriage. At the end of each authors story, there is a list of other books they have written, as well as the option to join their newsletters. Let me tell you, my TBR list has certainly grown!

This Anthology is made up of amazing authors and a collection of short stories for Everyone. I love anthologies for a couple of reasons, 1. They support a causes that either help individuals, communities & everyday hero’s. 2. The verity of stories 3. Finding New Authors or old favorites. I’m looking forward to making my way through all the stories.

A great collection
Over 30 short stories in one volume, this is an ideal opportunity to discover new authors.
Each title may be read in one sitting, with something for everyone's choice of reading.
A two-way bargain, the proceeds of sales go to various charities and the reader receives many hours of entertainment.
ARC generously supplied by Suzanne Cass and BookFunnel, this review is my honest opinion and completely unbiased.

I found this compilation a delightful summer read. These stories by bestselling authors are longer than a short story, but shorter than a novel. Read about the romancing of dragons and druids, witches and werewolves... but also real-life heroines; a tree hugger and a food truck chef, a grandmother's telling of her story on her grandaughter's wedding day, the feisty single mom of an autistic boy, and a cop. During this "Covid Summer" it is wonderful to immerse in an alternate world, where there's always a happy ending.

BTW, all profits go towards Covid-19 aid.

Perfectly Done

This eclectic group of authors gave us all what we needed during this difficult time, a way to donate a little money with a huge payout of getting this many short stories at once. I love that these shorts are grouped together by genre. I wanted this book for the short story that Theresa Hissong has. FYI : so worth it. However, I found several new to me authors that I will be stalking and downloading

Wow just a great collection of short reads that will have you wanting more, for longer stories that complete these short ones. There are a few new authors, I'll be looking into now since reading these little shorts. Love that all the women in the book were just as strong as the men in what they need or want. There is all types of romance in this book. Though I hate cliffhangers, some leave on a cliffhanger and others I felt were just as is a short teaser story and it ended.

These has been the most difficult review that I have ever written.
This is a collection of 36 different genre; I mean, paranormal, historical, witches, vampires, Angels, dempns banshees druids, people with special abilities; who could choose which one to review?
I will admit that as much as I loved most of the stories, and, certainly enjoyed all ; the first story held my heart and mind the most as I met with the descendants of my old friends from the DITCH LANE DIARIES.
I found that regardless of the genre I found all the stories believable because love is a very powerful link to ALL species. For me that made all the stories believable and fun.
I want to thank all 36 authors for all the pleasure you have given me.
I found many new authors that I will be reading.
I recommend this collection to everyone who enjoys reading, no matter your preference in genre you are going to love most of the stories and enjoy them all.

I received this book as an ARC for a honest review. What a fantastic collection of stories by world wide authors! Do not let the cover fool you because the stories are not all paranormal, but rather a collection of feisty females determined to get what they want. They are grouped according to genre, so if a certain genre is not your normal preferred reading, skip it, but do come back to them. I read every single one and they are all worth reading! (Disclaimer alert) The one thing that all the 35+ stories have in common is a happy ending! Two of the stories that I especially liked were “Angel Watcher” by DF Jones and “Tournament of Reckoning” by Allie Marie. All of the authors have agreed to donate the proceeds to two charities that have been instrumental in fighting the coronavirus! The editor, DF Jones, has done an awesome job on this massive project and her hard work shows! Happy reading!

If You Love Romance, Hard to Go Wrong with Collection

I read a lot of collections and anthologies, and I don't think I've ever seen one with this many stories by this many authors! Yes, all the heroines are feisty, but they are certainly not all like the tough-looking woman on the cover, thank goodness. Strength and bravery have many faces, as we see in this book. There are 36 stories here, ranging from short story to short novella length. The genres and types of characters and plots are all over the map, which I love as a voracious romance reader. Kindly, the authors have divided this book into six separate sections based on subgenre: three for paranormal romance (covering soooo many types of paranormal, supernatural, and fantasy concepts), two for contemporary romance, and one for historical romance. So if you know you have absolutely no interest in one subgenre, you can skip it—or you can focus on just the one or two that are your usual jam. But these shorts are, for the most part, well done enough that you might want to dip a toe into an unfamiliar subgenre. I actually like pretty much every subgenre of romance, and I love strong heroines, so it is as if this book were made for me. Most stories are short enough that you can read them during a quick meal break. As is typical in multi-author compilations like this one, story quality is variable, but surprisingly—especially considering the sheer number of authors and stories—most of these shorts are actually pretty good. One thing I like about anthologies is that they introduce you to new authors, and this one certainly did point me toward a few whom I might like to explore more. This is made easier because the end of each story has more info about the author, including her books. If you like short romantic reads with strong heroines, check out this collection!

By the way, as an RN, I love that the profit made from this is being given to those on the frontline of COVID-19 (a critical care nurses' association) and a charity that helps in times of crisis (the Red Cross).

I received a free copy of this book, but that did not affect my review.

In book one It is a new take on Angels by D.F. Jones This is the story of After the Angels have fallen and been sent to Earth. This is the story of an Angel named Kaduntz and how she finds love after many giving up on ever finding her life mate. This is a wonderful story.
in book 2 Dragon Rules by Tia Didmon Robin has been held captive by a man that she does not know what he is only that he is evil. Her every move is monitored by one of his men. Then one day she meets a man that says she is his. But she sends him on his way with a few cruel words not knowing that he is the answer to her prayers. This is a great new take on dragons.
In book 3 Moon Magic by Angela Sanders On the eve of Hannah and Jeff wedding Jeff is involved in a tragic accident. With Jeff on his death bed Hannah a begs her friends to use their magic to save him but with one mistake can have dire consequences.
In book 4 Within the Shadows by Amy Hale When Lacey shows her father that she has special powers he decides to make money off of it. Dana will have to fight to keep her daughter safe.
In book 5 Dawn of a New Era by Brenda Trim King Murtagh is in the process of finding his fated mate among the high born woman of his kingdom when he is called away to rescue some women who is being held hostage by some rogue vampires. Good story.
In book 6 Banshee Kiss by Ellen Mint This is a new take on the grim reaper.
Each book throughout has a strong feisty female.

Wow. There is a lot to choose from in this book. Different styles, different genres, and so many different emotions. On that note, keep the tissues handy because there are a couple stories in this anthology with the power to reduce the reader to blubbering mess. At least, that’s where they took me. Several of the authors in this anthology are familiar to me, but even more are brand new. And now that I’ve gotten a taste of their work, I think my library shelves are about to become even more overburdened. So long as you love a strong independent woman, there’s bound to be a story to tickle your fancy in this anthology. I found a whole bunch of them.

Feisty Heroines 🦸‍♀️

Feisty Heroines is a collection of short paranormal stories, encompassing pretty much everything you can imagine in this genre from vampires to wolves, to dragons, to witches and more❣️

The book I was looking forward to reading was the one by Theresa Hissong about Liberty and Talon😍 The other authors in this collection I’ve never read, other than Theresa, but I have to admit I’ve read most of Part 1 and I was pleasantly surprised and impressed by the caliber of stories and admittedly have found a few new authors I’m keen to try more of🤩

I will be purchasing this book as the money is going to charity but I did receive an advanced copy and I willingly leave my honest review❤️

This collection is worth every penny! At 99 cents, it’s actually worth a lot more. I would’ve gladly handed over more of that for several of the individual stories. Some of my favorite authors are included in this collection, and I found a lot more I’ll be reading for years to come! I particularly liked the historical romance stories and many of the paranormal romance selections. My favorite was Keep the Light by ID Johnson, who was already one of my favorite authors. I would highly recommend this book to anyone looking for romance for their summer reading collection.

This is for Spencer by P.T. Macias. This was a good start to Spencer and Dior’s story. Spencer is an MMA fighter and fills in as a “babysitter” for Dior, the mob boss’ daughter. She is feisty, quite a handful and not all what Spencer was expecting. You’ll have to read it to find out what happens. There is a little suspense, and I loved the flirting and “torture” Dior doles out to Spencer. It had me laughing. I really liked all the characters I got to meet and can’t wait for more.

Spencer by P. T. Macias within this anthology, I was able to read separately. My review is below:
Spencer Sinclair gets a chance to have his first UFC fight and his preparations with two established UFC - MMA fighters as his mentors and trainers will build his confidence to win. We get a condensed background on Spencer and what led up to where he is without too much pomp and circumstances. How he meets our spoiled princess Dior Ford is entertaining. The internal dialogue alone is worthwhile with these two. It’s cute to read Dior’s flirting and teasing her new bodyguard. It’s like she hasn’t stopped being a teenager. Overall these two don’t have a relationship in this book but there is a promise for more.

I am eager to finish reading the other short stories from the other authors as I’m an avid fan of most and eager to meet the others.

“Fiesty Heroines” is an incredible read that is a “must” for all Romance novel enthusiast… it is a collection of Romance short stories from over 30+ authors… settings of the stories range from medieval days to present to futuristic/fantasy… there is DEFINITELY something for everyone in this delightful collection… as I read from one short story to the next, I was thrilled to find each “story” filled with vibrant characters, amazing journeys, twists and turns, excitement, heart rendering moments and, of course, romance… I also loved the “sampling” I got from each authors work… not only did I read stories from authors whom I’ve LOVED over the years BUT now have NEW authors to add to my list of “favorites to read”… : ) This is truly ALL you could ask for in a book and more… it doesn’t disappoint… definitely recommend as a “must read”… you’re going to LOVE it!!
