Jackie Lau's A Fake Girlfriend for Chinese New Year is the third in her quartet of small town holiday romances, Holidays with the Wongs.Lau is one of the authors I discovered this year via Twitter and she has become one of my comfort reads. I have yet to dislike one of her books, and I found this one charming, and yes, comfortable.

Another fun novella from Jackie Lau! It's a friends to lovers story and I enjoyed it. It was also fun to see the characters from the other novellas in this series. (I actually would like a book about Ah Ma and Ah Yeh, the grandparents). This story is set in a small town (Mosquito Bay) so the food was not so exotic as in her other books, but still made me hungry!
