Awesomely Cruel King.

5 stars out of 5. This was an awesome bully romance and the relationship between the two main characters was just about as sizzling hot as it could possibly be. If only a guy would be as into me as Levi King is into Astrid Clifford, I would be a fantastically happy woman. This is a romance where the heroine is one of the “invisible” people at the RES (Royal Elite School) and Levi King was not only from the richest family, but he was the Captain of the Football team and the

A high school light-bully read with a lot of romance that was very intriguing, suspenseful and had plenty twists and turns!

Levi and Astrid shared a great chemistry and their falling for each other was fabulous (especially Levi’s).
Astrid was sassy, brave and feisty.
Levi was defiant, arrogant, possessive and so obsessive with Astrid!

There were a lot of secrets, lies, deception, mystery and family drama. Very well written and developed, great pace and dual pov.

Apart from the four horsemen’s

this is my first book from rina kent and i'm definitely now a fan of her writing. you get that romeo and juliet type of vibe, but also that enemies to lovers type of romance. she also creates these really dark characters that are very intriguing.

i must admit, i wasn't sure if i was going to like levi because he was really harsh towards astrid, but i quickly warmed up to him. something about those broody, possessive, alpha males that sucks me in. okay, i'll be honest i definitely would not want

Cruel King by Rina Kent was a dark riveting read. Amongst the chaos and mayhem the sexual chemistry between Levi and Astrid was scorching. Packed with drama, angst, and shocking revelations, this book delivers in a jaw-dropping, and nail biting fashion. Get ready for a rollercoaster of twists and turns that you will never see coming!

"I kiss him back. I clash with his tongue and his teeth and I give back the wildness brought out of me. I

OMG!! After reading Cruel King all I can honestly say is who is Rina Kent and how can I convince her to live in my basement and write me nothing but the Royal Elite books LOL. All kidding aside, Cruel King was PHENOMENAL!! Levi and Astrid had chemistry in SPADES!! I died for their banter, sexual chemistry and allllll the bullymance goodness.

I had to circle back to this story as it lead to Defiant King, which I enjoyed and was so intrigued with Levi and Astrid. And this story was everything! After the slow set up start, we get to peak back all the situations dealing up to their mutual hate of each other and their families hate of eat other. Simply delicious. Levi was so tortured and defiant but so determined to put Astrid in her place. His fiercely obsessive pursuit of Astrid was a wild ride. And Astrid was no shrinking violet. She ...more

I love Rina Kent. I have been on her ARC and Street teams for a while now. This was her first dive into the YA/NA genre. YOU WOULD NEVER KNOW! She did an amazing job! I fell so quickly in love with Levi and Astrid’s story.

I’m so used to the Mafia/ Dark Adult dramas from Rina I wasn’t quite sure what to expect out of this. I was so shockingly blown away. I loved this. YA/NA Bully is my Jam. Rina knocked it out of the park with this one.

Levi and Astrid do not have a conventional love story.

No, there story is far from tame, far from sweet. It hard, deliberate and yes, often cruel. There are many divergent routes that may take place. Exciting, yes?!!

I thought for sure this would be another author’s attempt to unsuccessfully recreate Vicious by Shen. It’s not. While no one can ever write a better Vicious, King deserves his own place in the lineup of cruel, elitist boys-who-would-be-king.

Cruel King was my first book by Rina Kent but will not be my last. Cruel King is one of the best bully books I have ever read! Rina Kent knows how to write the mean asshole hero.

Welcome to Royal Elite School! Secrets, lies, and betrayal lay behind every door. Power is gained with the secrets you know. Kent has delivered a world that sucked me in right from the start. And when your last name is King you rule the world.

Levi King is the big man on campus. He's the hot as hell, asshole, alpha jerk

I was given an advance readers copy of this book and have decided to write a voluntary honest review. I loved how dating Levi is how nothing can will stop him. He's truly one sexy bully. But my heart is already taken by his cousin Aiden I can't wait for his book. These two men together I lethal to any girls heart lol

Another bully read winner!

I really enjoyed this book. There was a big "cast," each with their own back stories and motivations. It made the story feel full.
The angst between Levi and Astrid was everything I needed in a bully romance, even if I was confused by it in a couple of places (the ghosting, for example).
The friendship between Dan and Astrid was special. I loved every minute of that- their playfulness, the harmless but flirty nature of their bond. Loved it.

Rina Kent is one of my favorite authors to date, but I wasn’t sure what to expect with her high school bully romance since that isn’t her usual trope. That being said, Cruel King pulled me right in from the first page and kept me in is tight, unrelenting grip until the very last page. This novel was dark, daring, and highly entertaining. The plot was engaging and the story moved at a great pace. Levi is rich, cocky, and popular, but not everything is as it seems. He has set his sights on Astrid, ...more

Loved this book and it is one you NEED to READ—you won’t regret it! This book surprised me because it was not what I thought it was going to be—instead, it is twisted and suspenseful with the right amount of danger. It is a tangled mess of lies and secrets and whodunit. The story has a revenge plot, outlined to make you question everything. Just when you think you have it all figured out, it takes a new turn making you realize just how wrong you were. It literally has you second guessing motives ...more

This was my first story by Rina Kent and boy what a story it is. It is one roller coaster of a ride. It is so full of mystery with so many twists and turns throughout it. The characters are extremely well developed with amazing personalities. I loved Astrid and Levi. Their fighting and pranks on each other had me laughing at times. I loved the crazy teammates with their friendly banter. This is a story that will definitely give surprises. It is definitely worth reading and doesn’t disappoint.

I really enjoyed this one. It’s definitely a high school bully romance but with lots more depth. Levi & Astrid have fantastic chemistry and she’s got the kind of backbone I love in my heroines. Add in some plot twists & great supporting characters and you have a fantastic read.

This story is everything I love about bullymances!

Strong plot with strong characters, especially the heroine. She's feisty and she knows how to fight back. Knows when to battle and stay cool. She's also not annoying (thank God for that!). And I love that she may hate the hero and also weirdly and unwantedly attracted to him, she still knew how to hold on to her sanity even just a

Wow! This story was absolutely fantastic ! I love how Rina creates these worlds of dark characters that you just can’t help but love! This was different than what I’m used to by Rina Kent but oh boy do I love it. Levi and Astrid were so perfect for each other in every way really , they both lost parents and they have more in common than they think. I’m so excited for this new series ! Can’t wait to read about Aiden King and please tell me we will get a story about Dan too ! Fingers crossed ...more

So for some reason I am obsessed with high school bully romances, and of course I feel icky about it because I would like to be a more sensitive and thoughtful reader with intelligent opinions. You know, the type of person who doesn’t enjoy the unfolding of a toxic relationship between minors, within a social dynamic that reinforces some of the most hostile stereotypes of lady-unfriendliness. But I’m not.

I was super happy when I found Rina Kent’s Royal Elite series because finally: bully
