The task is laughably easy...until he meets Grace Black

Hadrian Cross is a half-angel with an attitude. He avoids his goody-two-shoes angelic family and prefers to slum with humans until he tangles with the deadly vampire queen, Esme. Fearing for the lives of his mortal friends, he approaches an ancient archangel for help, but there are strings—lead mortal woman, Grace Black to her soulmate. Hadrian happily complies. All women want to fall in love, right?

Book store owner and cheerful snark, Grace Black doesn't believe in soulmates, marriage or regrets so when an angel arrives at her front door espousing the virtues of true love and destiny, she laughs in his face. Then makes him take off his shirt to prove he has wings. Grace doesn’t miss the ex who’s her supposed destiny, but Hadrian shirtless and in full flight is not something she wants to forget.

She agrees to his ridiculous offer mostly out of boredom and curiosity, but as they spend time together, they both worry the universe has its wires crossed.

As a writer and avid reader, I enjoy a well written story. No matter the genre. If you add in a compelling plot and winnable characters, I’m a fan for life. Juliet Lyons has made me a fan for life. The writing is smart without being overdone. The characters are engaging and interesting without being too nice or unbelievable. And all of that wraps around a plot that builds tension in a slow and satisfying way. A thoroughly enjoyable read from beginning to end.

What a fun and imaginative book!

Half angel, Hadrian Cross, and book store owner, Grace Black are brought together when Hadrian gets himself in a situation, involving a vampire, where he has to go to an archangel, Tobias, for help. Hadrian is sent on the task of reuniting Grace with her soulmate. What Hadrian isn’t prepared for is the instant attraction him and Grace have for each other. Not being able to resist each other, Hadrian just might have blown the deal he made with Tobias and he could find himself in a heap of trouble when it comes to the vampire. Will Hadrian be able to keep his end of the bargain and still keep the girl of his dreams?

This is not a book I would have typically picked up. I have never been attracted to angel stories (until now). But the blurb intrigued me. And, there was a vampire, which I do enjoy reading about. In the end, I really enjoyed this book and hope there will be a sequel to it. I feel there are more stories that can be told with some of the other characters. And, I would love to read more about swoon-worthy Hadrian, the half angel disguised as a bad boy with his rock n roll t-shirts and leather jacket.

This is a new-to-me author that I’ll definitely be reading more from. This story was funny and witty at the start, drawing me into the pages. Soon, the connection between Hadrian and Grace kept me coming back for more.

Of course, as an avid reader, Grace is a character I instantly fell in love with. Anyone who owns a book store is a friend of mine! Plus, she’s kind and smart and seems like a wonderful employer. She may be cynical and edgy, but that adds to her appeal.

Speaking of cynical, Hadrian has a lot of baggage weighing him down and keeping him from seeing the brighter side of life. He doesn’t necessarily look at himself that way. The fact is, Hadrian takes himself far too seriously. He doesn’t even realize that he’s lightening up the more time he spends with Grace because other aspects of his life are still spiraling out of control.

It’s so obvious that Grace and Hadrian belong together, but they don’t see things as clearly due to their preconceived notions of how their lives should be unfolding. Once they both were honest with themselves and each other (to a certain extent, anyway) they are all in and it’s beautiful.

While I also enjoyed learning about Hadrian’s life and the “underworld” he is aware of and has had contact with, those scenes were nothing compared to the central love story in this one. It’s not all hearts and flowers and violins, but the chemistry between these characters is almost sweet and innocent in an gorgeous way.

Like I said, I will be looking for more from this author. I loved this story. Great characters, great chemistry, great storyline, great flow.

I first discovered Juliet Lyons with her delightfully funny and snarky series, Bite Nights. If you haven’t yet discovered that series then I would highly recommend it, and there is the feel of that world in her newest release. Sinless delivers the smooth writing style, and the snark I’ve come to expect from this author which makes me a very happy reader.

It’s not easy to resist falling in love just a bit with bad-boy with an attitude half-angel Hadrian although Grace does give it her best shot for much of their story. I definitely laughed out loud at her demand to see his wings since he claims to be an angel and all – gotta love a woman with her own attitude and her own version of snark.

Everything you need to know about Sinless is in the cover description. I had such a good time with Hadrian and Grace as they faced danger and silliness, heartache and true love on their journey. There is steam, just enough but there is also tenderness with a touch of attitude and that was a combination that I enjoyed very much. If you love Paranormal Romance, attitude, and a couple that will grab your emotions from the start, then you’ll want to pick up Sinless and be swept away to a world full of possibilities.

*I received an e-ARC of this novel from the publisher, Tule Publishing. That does not change what I think of this story. It is my choice to leave a review giving my personal opinion about this book.*

First of all Sinless by Juliet Lyons is a different kind of story then I usually read that is published by Tule Publishing. Then it is different from many other paranormal stories too. There are many angel stories out there to read but I have never been a fan until Sinless. Then there is the vampire that he tangles with along with the human who is his mission. I was hooked from the opening scene and impressions of Hadrian Cross. Everything goes haywire which makes this an entertaining story from that beginning to the end.
Grace Black evens out this story bring a warmth with her cheerful if cynical personality. A bookstore owner this is a wonderful change from the norm. Enjoyed their story, including working out the troubles and the conclusion. Juliet Lyons is a new author for me but I look forward to reading more books written by her.
An ARC of the book was given to me by Tule Publishing which I voluntarily chose to read and reviewed. All thoughts and opinions are my own.

Looking like a sexy bad boy rock star with his piercings, leather jacket, jeans, and penchant for seventies bands t-shirts, Hadrian is not what Grace Black expected. In fact, he's charming, kind-hearted, and blessed with a glorious set of white wings. When Hadrian finds himself in a difficult situation he is given a mission to help Grace, who has sworn off love, the trappings of marriage, and the need for a man in her life, to find her soul mate. A simple task for an angel, right? But as complications arise, Hadrian finds he is faced with an impossible task. The consequences of failure are enormous and will fall solely on his shoulders.

The descriptions in the story are so vivid you can easily imagine yourself in the place of Grace as she flies over the streets of London in Hadrian's arms. Told with humor and just the right amount of steam, English author, Juliet Lyons, brings the latest addition in her Bite Nite series. We knew there were vampires walking the earth, and now we know there are angels too.

Want a book that is a good inside as it is delish on the outside? This is that book. Let me say that this book is a great read that has me tuned in from the very first page. I love this type of book but my husband not so much and he even got into it as i was reading it out loud to him. So to me that is the mark of a really good book when it appears to those who do not normally read the genre' and they will read it anyways. This book has all the things i want in a good book, romance, heat, humor is always good but i love a touch of snark so this perfect! Just right. As you can tell from the cover our author is giving us a heavenly helper in this book and oh what a wonderful one he is in deed. I can not wait for the next book in this series but until then if you need something to read ...check out her Vampire series.

First book for me by this author. It's funny, steamy hot and entertaining. Hadrian is a half angel who meets Grace a bookstore owner due to a sticky situation he's got himself into involving a deal he made with a vampire. He's been tasked with reuniting her with her soul mate only things didn't work out exactly like he expected or as smooth as he thought it would be. He definitely didn't expect the mutual attraction and not being able to resist being with her. Loved it! I voluntarily read and reviewed an ARC from Tule Publishing.

This is an easy read and lovers of Angel fantasy will especially enjoy this book. As far as I can tell it's a stand alone book but Ms Lyons does have a vampire series published. Hadrian needs help controlling an evil vampire and his dad will help only if he guides human, Grace Black to her soulmate. Not an easy task and the story if wonderful as they discover they are soulmates. I received a copy of this ARC in exchange for a fair and honest review.

This story was super cute. There is some insta love, which is not always my favorite, but it did totally work. I loved the snarky heroine, and the heart of gold hero. If you want a light/fun UP, then this is right up your alley. Lastly, I would love to read more about Hadrian and Grace. Juliet Lyons, please continue the story! There definitely looks like there could be a possibility.

Judging by the cover, I didn't expect much (I know, I know…) from this $.99 BookBub bargain, but the writing quality here is surprisingly good.

For the gazillionth time since Saturday night, I brush aside the memory of his rough hands cupping my face, the tingle of electricity that zipped through me at the contact. He’s an angel and wired to make people feel good. Though, let’s face it, all he needs to do is take off his shirt to accomplish that feat.

Not . A. Review.

Sometimes I do this when I hated or disliked a book but I couldn’t swear it was this books fault.
You know the whole ,”it’s not your ,it’s me feeling.”
You know how it is sometimes when you’ve slogged your way thru a story ,either praying it wot,s just end and be over with already. Or in desperate hope and fervent prayer the book will suddenly become good and make sense to you and stopping feeling like a waste or both your time and money.
Sadly the seconds hope/wish rarely comes true once you’ve started off on the wrong foot or when you’ve started to hate, loathe or to connect w/the characters several chapters in.
I feel in order to say this is a bad book and you shouldn’t read,I have to convinced at least on some level I extreme dislike of the story and characters are for reasons more universal that what I have.

This is mainly to get my feeling out and express them soo I can move on and fidget.
Something which I can promise you I am more than eager to do.
⚠️ there may be spoilers ⚠️

This was such a completely tedious read to me.
I loathed Hadrian. Grace wasn’t the most likable but I loathed Hadrian.
A sexy body does not a good lead make make. The whole story was soo damn pointless l
Deep sigh.
Swings and roundabouts all the way. I’m not English but I know the reference. I think it’s like the game “chutes and ladders.”
Anyway Hadrian has been bitter and angry most his life since he found out what his father was and when hi# mother more or less died or a broken heart ,knowing he never really loved her.
Another sigh.
The whole plot of Cruz or the story is to open Hadrian up to loss so he could let go and really love.
But he selfishly plays around w/Graces feelings and life in th3 mean time to supposedly help fix a mess he’d gotten himself into .
Honestly it’s a bit of a muddled mess . Or at least it was to me.
A angel halfling who only gives a rip about two ppl in the whole world ,drives a crap Ford Focus car, writes lines for a greeting card company . And except for the usual ripped muscular body the only the he has going for him is his pretty purple eyes.
He’s a boring cynical angel halfling who has to take the bus or if he’s late ,trying to find an alternate way home just like the rest of us.
Basically just another poor schmoe, trying to get by.
Big deal.
Hadrian, was one this least sexy, and uninteresting lead paranormal males I think I’ve ever had the misfortune to read about .
And Grace just seems like classic quintessential cynical snarky English heroines you might read about . Never seen the movie but I’m thinking deepening of the person less interesting than “ Bridgette “ of the “ Bridgette Jones diary” fame. Not sure if I went with the right spelling on “Bridget/te “ or not.
Hayden is such a selfish self absorbed dork. He both screws with Grace’s memories and almost kills her and never even apologizes . Sadly not that it’s asked for.
Others might like this but this was like a slog thru a boring Hallmark movie I’d it were made in Britain and the stereo typical d bag love interest was the keeper instead of the guy the heroine dumps for the keeper. And the h was some one soo lackluster and clueless you just didn’t care about w/.
Soo different and yet not all at the same time .
I guess I’d consider this a PNR ( a paranormal romance) but the paranormal parts just felt like plot pointe to move the story along more than any thing else. Selfish jerk, who cares more about problems he’s created for himself then the woman he supposedly loves is really just any ole contemporary romance plot point. At the Nd o& the day, that’s all this really is.
Quarantine or not, this was wasted time.

Grace and Hadrian's story was cute. There were parts that dragged on for me, but for the most part it was enjoyable. So, yes it is a PNR, but even so, I did not find the story very believable in some parts. The demon/ vampire aspect was confusing and weird. Also felt the last couple of chapters were rushed. I felt things were thrown together to finish the story. With that said, Grace and Hadrian were cute. Big hearts full of love. They both had issues, but nothing too bad. This was my first read with this author. I will definitely try another book. Enjoy.

Hadrian goes to ask Tobias a favor and the only way he will agree is if Hadrian does a favor in return for him. Hadrian is to point Gace Blak in the right direction and on the right path to find her true love.

This was a good book but not exactly the kind of book that I would typically find myself reading but I did enjoy it. I think you will too.

I love how Have had no clue . What his father had planned for him. He only knows he is falling for Grace. Yeah you will figure out what I just said. One little feather. And a vile. So many reactions because of those. Hade finally cries. And so much makes sense. Good book. Happy reading

An immortal needs a favor, but it comes with a condition. It’s funny how something simple turns so complicated, but is it actually fate? I enjoyed reading this story.
