I felt that the vibe of this story had a I know what you did last summer vibe. This year is my 10 year class reunion so I loved the beginning of the story I felt I could relate.
The story revolves around a group of adults that return to their class reunion to find the return of a former teacher who had long since fled from the school after these classmates tried to kill him.
What is unknown is why they tried to kill him. The reason is slowly revealed in a series of flashbacks written as journal entries in the book of confessions.
The reason is horrifying and even though murder is the game you find yourself rooting for these classmates to finish what they started. In the process friendships are rekindled and romance is started.
The twist thrown in at the end was awesome, and had me speeding through the story to find out what happened. It is a faster read. Too short for my usual taste, but highly worth the read of you interested in a fast past story with a plethora of suspense.
I am a huge fan of T.L. Keary and based on history I will always read her books. While I enjoyed this book a lot, I felt that it was missing some character building within the main character set. I am looking forward for the next books to come!

I generally only read paranormal/urban fantasy books because I don’t have much time to read lately, and I’ve become picky with what I read. However, this author’s books are always so interesting and intriguing, I had to read this one, too. As with her other books, this book is filled with twists and turns, and it’s very well written. My only complaint was that the characters are no longer in high school, 10 years out actually, but they still kind of act like it; their level of maturity in finding solutions should be better (don’t want to spoil things so I’m vague). I think that would have made the book perfect for them to be a little more…capable. Other than that, though, this was a great mystery, and I really liked how the past was revealed in tidbits. Highly recommend this book, and I received a complimentary copy which I voluntarily reviewed.
Wow just wow. I don't even think I can fully put into words my feelings for this book. After reading Skin and Bone which blew me away, I was excited to hear that T.L. Keary was writing another thriller. I literally devoured the entire book from front to back I just couldn't put it down. I was on the edge of my seat throughout, as the story takes a rollercoaster ride from the point of view of Cassidy Walsh. Ten years previously during high school her and four other people try to kill their teacher but they don't succeed and now 10 years later he's back. I actually fell in love with Cassidy and was totally rooting for her and everyone else. There was definitely a twist in the middle of the story which I didn't see coming but I loved it. If you wanna find out what that is I suggest you give this book a read.
In this story, several teenagers, who are virtually strangers at the same school, end up bonded for life over one girl’s horrible real life nightmare. As if losing her mother at a young age isn’t enough, the nightmare she endures after is just unspeakable. These kids band together to try to take down a monster, but they always end up one step behind and he escapes. Ten years later they all reunite - will the difference in years make up the difference it takes to stop the nightmare once and for all?
Awesome story! Had me glued to the pages from start to finish!!!
Our Last Confession is the latest book from author T.L Keary and wow what a fantastic book it was. I absolutely adore physiological thrillers and this one did not disappoint me, it had me on the edge of my seat throughout the whole book. I was so gripped I couldn't put it down.
I love the character of Cassidy, she is such a strong character, I also loved the fact that throughout the bad happening to the characters Cassidy and Dallin managed to find each other. I loved how this book was written and in the last chapter how it all just came together.
This is one fantastic book, if you love a thriller then I highly recommend it.
What a way to write I loved how it was written Cassidy was such a strong character with Emma being a close second a amazing story to bring to life and justice in its own way was served and the last chapter made me sniffle to see finally it all come to its end another 5 star from me I love Keary Taylor's writing and yet again she's done it amazingly !!!

That was a surprise read 0f a real life scenario that could actually happen. It does ring true, glad they could end that man but killing him was a stretch and it seemed that they didn't suffer the consequences even if he he was the lowest human. Great read thpugh
The story starts at a school reunion, it's been 10 years since this group of friends were last together and it seems fate has destined for history to repeat itself. The story is told through flashbacks to a journal kept by the group during high school.
10 years ago the group tried something drastic to help a friend who was in a bad place, but it didn't go to plan and now the person they tried to kill is back and determined on revenge.
The story moves along at a great pace and I really liked the slow reveal of what happened years ago through the journal entries. It all felt really suspenseful and I couldn't wait for the next twist in the story. It's 4 stars because I would have liked to know the characters a little better, I would have been happy with a little more backstory but I did love Cassie and Dallin.

It took me a little longer to write this review because I had some personal things going on however I am so glad I got to read this book! I think Keary has done it again! Seamlessly writing in another genre and doing it well. There were a couple of things that were surprising in the plot twists, I didnt see it coming and I am glad it ended how it did it really brought everything together. I don't want to say too much and spoil it - I really don't want to go into detail as to what the plot twists were and why I liked the ending but it was written with intrigue , suspense & great character development and I really did enjoy the whole novel and I can't wait to read more in this genre by Keary.
Another great read from T.L. Keary! I really enjoyed this book. If you like a twisty-turny- murder-mystery/suspense, thats a quick read, then this book may be a good choice for you!
The characters were strong, though it was a little difficult to keep track of the main six, I had to go back a couple times to remember who was who. I liked the way it was told, in present day for the most part, and the past was told with journal entries, in a shared journal by 6 "unlikely" friends.
Ive always liked a story within a story, and this was a fun twist on that. I don't want to reveal any spoilers, but I definitely got hooked on every turn this story took as it unfolded!
‘Our Last Confession’ was brilliant. Taylor writes well in this genre and this was some of her best work yet. I loved the fast pace of the book and the suspense that ran throughout.
The book is centred around what happens when your past catches up with your present and in this case it’s full of danger and surprises.
This is a great read. I read it in one sitting as I had to know what happened to the friends in the book. I would recommend this to those looking for an enjoyable read with twists and turns throughout.
Wow! I loved this book so much, I love the character development with each of the main characters. I was pulled into the story so much that there were definitely times that I was feeling anxious right along with everyone else. I will say that I was a little nervous about the subject matter, but Keary handled it beautifully and made the reader fully understand without being overly graphic or triggering.
OhMgee. This Psychological Thriller had me on my toes. It also had me hooked from start to finish. This reunion was all suspense with twists. I wish I could spoil it, because I can I’m good at that. But I’m not get a copy and read it, you will not be disappointed. Keary thank you for another amazing book.
