Hart

My Prez thinks I betrayed his trust . . . but I didn't.

I did the only thing I could think of at the time. I went to the one person who just might believe my ass - the national charter Prez, Rancid. Fortunately for me, he believed every word I told him and had me lay low for a while.

The plan he made was foolish at best and got me in deeper shit than I was in before. What a load of shit that is. Or at least, it's what I thought.

I'm a dead man, but none of it matters when my eyes see the one thing I'd gamble with.

Her.

This was one twisted story !The story had you intrigued right from chapter one and had you turning the pages to the very end.I have to say we really enjoyed the characters some more than others. This is not the kind of story that was easy to read but, it was one that had a lot of moving parts and one that took on a lot of twists and turns and more than a few surprises.

Gamble was one of those character's that had been to hell and back and yet, she now is living in a whole other kind of hell.Gamble was one of those characters that your heart went out to time and time again but, no matter the pain and humiliation she suffered she soldiered on and she decided to make the best of her fate and make it work to her advantage. We loved how strong and determined she was .

Hart was a sexy devil and all alpha but, he too has suffered a loss he has not been able to move on from but, he see's something in Gamble that has jumped started his heart once again. We loved his protectiveness and out outspokenness when it came to abusive behavior against women.

The characters really made this story come alive but, in the end I felt it was just unfinished in someway and I really detest when a story just ends and one without and epilogue and one that still has unfinished business.I wish we saw the romance between Gamble and Hart develop a little more than it did because something was just missing for me the chemistry was there but, I wish the author had worked the friends to lovers angle a little more between these two.Although there were things the I didn't like there were a lot of things that I did and one of my favorite things that after the clubs initial shock about Gambles new roll in the club the members rallied behind her and all took a protective stance where she was concerned and all ready to slay her tormentors.

I'm a little bit confused with this series. I thought it was one really big series with different authors writing each book with some main characters interacting. The last book had dealings with human trafficking and was so against it but in this book they are part of it or should I say some of the charters are. Don't get me wrong it was a good book. Very well written with great character building and interaction. It's "me" that is confused. If someone else knows what this is supposed to be... please let me know.

Gamble has had a rough life. In one night when she was a teenager she lost everyone and everything she had ever loved. Everyone just wiped out in front of her and she was taken. For years she has been both a slave and sex slave to one evil man. When she was sent away for a while she thought it was finally over until it wasn't. More loss. She was then put in a position if power to fail but she didn't fail... she grew with the help of others.

Gamble has had so many questions of what happened that night when she was young and lost it all. Finally she gets her answers and let's just say she was a better person than I would have been about it.

I've read a lot of MC books, but this one is heartbreaking with a lot of evil mixed in. Gamble has been thru hell and it's only going to get worse. There is a lot of danger, death, surprises, and a HEA in a strange way. can't wait to see what happens next.

This was a good book. Gamble has been through a lot. She's a strong heroine and I liked her. I enjoyed the story but I felt the ending was too rushed. Looking forward to the next book.

Gamble might have a dark past but she finds herself in what used to be considered a man's world...MC prez. She proves herself but with a dangerous man who gives her a gift and others who don't like the way she's in charge. Things are about to get even more dangerous.

Hart is an interesting man. I love the slow build between these two but when you Gamble on a man's Hart and bet against them...you're going to lose.

There is a lot of action, suspense, a wicked se* dream that gets caught by the person you supposedly are not attracted to and an ending that will bring a smile to your face. I received an ARC for an honest and voluntarily review.

So Elizabeth brings a new twist to the Royal Bastards stories. First off if you do not like dark, disturbing reads, this is not for you. It starts off with disturbing rape of the main character Gamble and that was one thing that surprised me since there was no warning. But hey whatever.

There are some very nasty characters in this book, by that I mean characters that are so disgusting you just want to take a shower after reading this story. Then you have some characters that are just taken for the ride, like Hart and Gamble.

Elizabeth did a good job bringing this story to life.

Hart is pretty much exiled by his club because his Prez thinks he did him dirty. When the national charter Prez assigns Hart to a new charter the last thing he expects is for them to have a female Prez and for her to open his heart

Gamble has been to hell and back all she wants is a good life .. When she is named Prez of her charter can she gain the guys respect . When Hart walks in cocky as hell she knows this is going to be a bad thing but there is something about him she is drawn to

When Hart needs the help of his club will Gamble be the sure Bet?

Felt Unfinished

It started out with a bang then the BOOK takes 180 and I found myself skimming until I reached 79% and it picked back up as we find out who the rat is but how it's handled blows me away. Normally rats are killed hmmm.

Um, why isn't Rancid dealt with since he is nothing but a pedophile anyway and no one from any of the charters respect him?

This just felt unfinished. I know that this series has several books but I thought they all were stand-alone.

So far this series I read one great book, next one plummets, next is good than rinse and repeat.

Gamble’s life was going great until one day everything was taken away from her. She has lived the last ten years under watchful eyes of the RBMC national prez. Just when she finally gets to go home and things start to calm down a bit life throws her another curveball.

Note: this can be read as a stand-alone but I highly suggest you start the Royal Bastards MC from the beginning. 🖤🔥☠️🔥🖤

Gamble has had quite a journey. Not an easy one to say the least but she's standing strong and with Hart and the Royal Bastards Baltimore by her side I doubt there's a chance she'll fail. Elizabeth Knox as always has created another 5 star read,! I'm anxiously awaiting to see what comes next.

Hart and Gamble right from the beginning your heart breaks and the tears will fall from your eyes. It's an intense, emotional, with twist and turns and enough action to keep you wanting more and more. I laughed, cried and got mad but couldn't wait to see what happens next. Another amazing read and came wait to see what she has next

Heck yes! This book started my February out with a hell of a bang!!

I absolutely loved everything about Gamble. This chick has been through hell and back, yet somehow her “punishment” ended up being the best thing for her! She has brass balls, a smart mouth and a bunch of men who now respect her. What more can you ask for in an empowering female lead??

It was so epic that she was kicking ass and taking names when she had to tell people she was prez. She didn’t even hesitate to ask for help, but these men truly got her. They know she didn’t ask for the life she lived and defended her the whole way.

Now we gotta talk about Hart. Oh how I loved this dude. We got an awesome twist with who he made friends with while in seclusion too!! He isn’t afraid to speak his mind and truly unafraid to show what he wants. Him and Gamble had some hot chemistry. Their scenes were hot!

And of course we have the brothers. Her brothers were amazing. I can’t wait to hear about each and every one of their books!! They were ready to let Gamble lead them anywhere and not question a thing. They protected her like she was their sister.

I can’t say enough awesome things and I think I’m just rambling. Bring on the next! I’m so hooked to this series already!!!

The thing that hit me the hardest in the entire book is the chapter that started with the quote "You are being presented with a choice: evolve or remain. If you choose to remain unchanged, you will be presented with the same challenges, the same routine, the same storms, the same situations, until you learn from them. Until you love yourself enough to say “no more”, until you choose to change. ~ Unknown". So many aspects of the book rotate back to that premise. Rancid is so evil and watching how Gamble makes decisions based on the life he decided for her is so amazing. I loved the moments with some amazing characters from other books.

I can hardly wait to find out more about this MC chapter. And OMG! The twists and turns made this a two sitting read (only because I'm sleep deprived and couldn't finish it in one!!!)

The RoyalBastards do again. I love this series and couldn’t put this book down, i finished it in one sitting.
Gamble and Hart are made for each other, he has been forced to leave his MC and she is forced to be in the MC. They both have been to hell and back and are trying to survive in their own way.
She is the first ever MC President, it was done to break her and show that she is nothing but club property. She turns it around and proves that she can do it better then the men.
He has been trying to make himself useful, but his confidence is in the toilet. He sees her and is hit with lust, only to learn that the National President has made her the club’s girl for only the president of the all the MC’s. He can do nothing to make this go away.
They both prove that they can do the impossible and in the process find a mutual respect for each other and gain the respect of the club. They prove that they are loyal to the MC, the men and each other and find an unexpected love.

Another one in the MC world that ended up devouring me as I devoured it. The drama we get caught up in has you on pins and needles at times. Gamble blows your breath away what a character but strong is a tame word to say the least but is all we got to use as one to show who she is. Hart is the heart and us readers will find out the meaning of that. Suspense that holds you captive to squeeze us at times. Twists included at no extra cost but emotions. What more could we want in a read except the next one.

Gamble has some pretty big shoes to fill and when Hart is assigned to her MC, she is drawn to him. Hart can't believe that his new prez is female and that he is drawn to her on top of it. When trouble comes for them they must unite to fight and find out who it is in the club that is leaking information. This will draw you in and have you awed with Gamble!

Gamble and Hart

Bet On Me is the first book in the new Royal Bastards MC: Baltimore series by Elizabeth Knox. The RBMC series has now expanded to include a Baltimore chapter and starts off with Gamble, the h, and Hart, the H, and a slight situation that occurred two months ago.
I am not exactly sure about this book as the story-line was interesting but for me it did not feel fully flushed out with the details that I would have liked to make sense of the events. I think there may be more to Gamble and Hart's story in a future book, or at least I hope so. They were interesting characters but I never really got a true sense of who Hart is and what his background is. For me this was an okay story but not a stand out at this point.

I received an ARC of this book in exchange for my honest review. My opinions are all my own.

What can I say about this book I had a love-hate relationship with this book! At one point I liked it because it was like the first MC president that was a woman and it was intriguing but then it was not so intriguing. No one is supposed to touch the president of MC Club yet this president was raped and used and had a problem controlling her club which is understandable because I mean it's mostly males but she couldn't even control her cub girls overall it was a good story I think it could have been a little better though.

This is a shared entry where different author’s write a book in this series. The author did something different with the h in this book, and although I appreciate the effort to do something different it just didn’t work for me. This story centers around Gamble and Hart. Gamble has had a difficult life and has had to rise above for some time. She is just trying to keep herself safe and has no one to depend on but herself. Hart is a bit of an egnima. We actually don’t get to know much about him in this book and I didn’t read the book his background was given. He seems like he's an OK guy and that’s about all we know.

Elizabeth Knox did something a little different with her entry into this shared world. She put Gamble, her FMC into a place where you don't normally see, and it was an interesting place for it.

I like Gamble. She has been in a difficult place and has managed to come through it. I think that she's willing to do a lot of things to keep herself safe, and I don't blame her for that, because she's got to deal wit Rancid, and she has to walk carefully there.

Hart, the male main character, is kind of a blank for me. We really don't learn too much about him. He was in another one of the RBMC books, so maybe there was more info about him in that book. I'll have to read it and find out. He seems like he's an OK guy.

I'm giving this a 3.5. I liked the story overall, but I felt like it was rushed and not quite complete. It's more like the first part of a story and not a complete one.

Bet On me is the first book of the Baltimore Chapter of the Royal Bastards MC and an amazing start to this series. I absolutely adored Gamble, she’s been through hell and was a kicka$$ character. Love the strong female lead

In a world of sexy alpha men I enjoyed the female touch. This Prez comes into her role the hard way but she overcomes the pain she’s suffered and makes the men of her club take note of her strength.

Gamble has lived the past 10 years of her life as Rancid’s personal sex slave, ever since her murdered her entire family and took her away at the age of 15. Just a few months ago Rancid return her to Baltimore where she began a romantic relationship with Dog, the prez. But her happiness is short-lived when Rancid calls her for a meeting. There Rancid will make it clear that she will the personal whore for all the chapters prez(Rancid and Heavy, prez of Washington chapter, raped her repeatedly), in addition to witness the murder of her lover and be named prez of the Baltimore chapter knowing that no men will follow her. But with the support of other prez she gets her club to respect and protect her.
Hart comes to the club after his former prez accused him of sleeping with his woman and Rancid sent him here, and this new boy will be the one to restore hope in love for Gamble.

Hart slides his hand over my knee and up my thigh in a calculating way. Meanwhile the moment I look back to him, his eyes are locked on mine. He clears his throat and his voice comes out husky as hell. “Do me a favor and don’t ask me what I’m doing”. I’m so caught in my own head that I didn’t notice Hart hooking his fingers in the belt loops of my jeans or pull me up onto his lap. At this point he’s running his fingertips through my hair. “I thought you said I wasn’t your type.” “You’re not,” He confirms, placing his hand on the back of my neck he pulls my lips down onto his own. There is no element of soft and sensual. Even though he’s told me I’m not his type, his tongue is dancing with mine like I’m something he’s craving. Hart’s kissing me like a starved incubus. I snake my arms around the back of his neck, pulling myself closer to him. This pregnancy has only made me horny as hell and I’m so tired of continuing to take care of myself. If I get some real cock in my future, I’ll be a happy little horned up slut. I rip my hands away from the back of his neck and go to his jeans, unbuttoning the top, unzip his fly and dig my hand inside until I’m palming his cock. Hart’s hand goes to my jeans and he yanks my underwear and pants down until they hit my knees. Like the ravage beast he’s become, he flips my body down onto the sand and turns me over on my stomach, entering me without warning. It hurts at first as I adjust to his size, remembering just how long and thick his cock was when I saw it the other day. “I wish I knew you liked it rough, baby. The things I could tie you up with in that fuckin’ hotel room,” He sticks his tongue out and traces it up my neck and stops right below my ear, “I could hang you from the ceiling and force my cock down your throat. Or maybe I’d leave you hanging while I went to an adult store and leave a bullet inside your cunt for a couple hours. I bet you’d beg me to make you cum then, wouldn’t you?” “Yes,” I confess, having the perfect picture in my mind.
