I like the concept, and some parts, like the suicide note from the little green man, were enjoyable. However a lot of the story was unconvincing, like 衛斯理's initial hostility towards Jefferson (I know he explained it as his inkling of Jefferson being a power-hungry person); the experts being convinced by 衛斯理, basically a stranger to them, that Jefferson, with whom they've been working together for years, is a bad person; Jefferson letting power get to his head all of a sudden, then rediscovering his conscience with no buildup etc. The ending was also extremely rushed. The reason why the crisis was resolved was not explained at all, and 倪匡 just round it off by a "we'll never know why".
