I’m not too proud to admit that finding Mr. Right involves swiping right. Right? Welcome to dating in avocado toastland.

Here I am, on my first blind date, ever, courtesy of a smartphone app and my two annoying best friends.

So what is Chris “Fletch” Fletcher doing, walking across the room, looking at his phone like he’s pattern matching a picture to find a real person he’s

Fiesty is a beautifully stunning story of discovering and accepting every part of what makes you who you are. There are no half measures throughout this journey, and at the end you will find something truly breathtaking. Of course, there is even more to this story, but it all interweaves and mingles together to form a perfect union. A union that no one can tear apart because the universe itself has brought these two people together. A pox on the person who dares to interrupt what Fate has deemed ...more

5 star review Feisty by Julia Kent

This is Fiona “Feisty” Gaskill and Chris “Fletch” Fletcher story and it was everything that I hoped it would be and so much more.

Julia Kent is one of my go to authors for RomCom books. There is something about her style of writing that draws me in and I cannot put her books down.

Julia Kent never fails to deliver; whenever I see her name I know that I am in for a fabulous read. As with previous books I have read I was in stitches having laughed so much I cried.

Feisty is here, but don't you dare let her hear you call her that or you'll find yourself drop-kicked all the way back to 7th Grade.

At the tender age of 12, Fiona Gaskill was not going to let anyone mess with her, so when a young Chris Fletcher tried to kiss her, she kicked his backside and gave him a black-eye in the process, and so the nickname 'Feisty' was born. 17 years later and Fiona is still holding onto her dislike of the name and the man who gave it to her...until she forced to be

Fiona "Feisty" reunites us with Perky, Parker, Will and Mallory..and Chris "Fletch" Fletcher.. along with all of the pre weddiing rituals Mallory has and wants. Fiona is a pre-school teacher and the book opens as an incident happens at the school between Fiona and Rico the father of one of her students. She immediatly goes into protection mode and does what ever it takes to protect the kids in her class. Once again she is face to face with Fletch...she still doesn't like him after he tried to ...more

I was sent an ARC copy of this book.As with all Julia Kent books I could not wait to read it and was gutted when it was finished as I wanted to joy to continue.
We follow Fiesty, Perky and Mallory through Mallorys pre wedding events and Fiestys scary, funny, and spiritual life events.
Dont want to spoil the story for readers but just a word of advice if your thinking of reading this on the bus or in the break room, people tend to start backing away from you when you are sitting there with a silly

Julia Kent has written some unforgettable and unique characters with their special journey of finding love and letting go in Feisty. I have experienced some truly breathtaking moments those connected straight with my soul. This story was sweet, lovely, light, swoony and meaningful at the same time.

Feisty aka Fiona has been living her life searching constantly for a safe, clear and stable state of mind. She has done all. She has been the fierce, headstrong and sassy girl in her school life that

Feisty, I mean, Fiona (she hates that nickname!) is in a bit of an existential crisis. First, the backstory on the nickname. In middle school, Chris “Fletch" Fletcher tried to kiss her, Fiona drop-kicked him into next week, and the moniker was born. It seems Fletch meant it as a compliment since he’s carried a torch for her through the years, but Fiona is still carrying a grudge seventeen years later.

Now Fiona’s world is changing faster than she can keep up. After a traumatic event at the

Feisty by Julia Kent is an enemies to lovers romance that follows the story of Fiona “Feisty” Gaskill and Chris “Hot Boxer” Fletcher.

When they were in middle school, Fletch gave Fiona the nickname she’s tried to escape her entire life. And, she hated him for it. So when a tragic situation gives them both a little common ground, they start to explore what they’ve both secretly desired since a failed kiss attempt 17 years prior.

I hate to say it, but this story was not for me. I was never really

Featuring my favorite relationship of the series, this rom com has plenty of humor but also a heaviness that lingers throughout the book. All three Do-Over books have shed light on what happens when someone is unexpectedly thrust into the spotlight, but I found Feisty to have the most unsettling and triggering incident (a storyline featuring a gun at a preschool). Kent does an effective job showcasing the way someone's life can change after one chance event, for the better and the worse. In the ...more

After what felt like a long wait, the third book in Julia Kent’s newest series of connected standalones has finally arrived. This is Fiona Gaskill and Chris Fletcher’s story. Feisty and Fletch to those who know them best. Especially themselves. Chris adorned Fiona with hers after she let fly with hands and feet when he tried to kiss her in 7th grade. Fiona was having none of that and taught Fletch a lesson he’d never forget. Pity it ended with her getting a stupid nickname.
    She hated it then and

I haven't read very many Julia Kent books but I have read the prequel and the first two books in this series of standalones (with interconnecting characters). Feisty contains laughter, friendship and ultimately a great love story, this book in the series does contain some heavy issues that are very pertinent in our headlines today.

Fiona "Feisty" works at a preschool and right at the beginning of the story an angry father shows up with a gun. While no one is seriously injured, thankfully, Chris "Fletch" appears on the scene, as one of the paramedics to the rescue. Feisty isn't exactly happy to see Fletch again, as she dropped kicked him back in the 7th

This enemies to lovers romance is a light, fun, and addicting story that had me going from giggling to full belly laughs. At the same time, it is s sweet, loving, and heartwarming story. Julia Kent takes us back to the strange lands in Perky, Mallory and Fiona's minds in Fiesty and trust me, it's uncharted territory up there. While Fiesty is part of a larger series, it can be read as a standalone.

Oh I was so excited to finally read Fiona's (Fiesty) story! Now you can definitely read each of the stories in this series as a stand-alone, but don't do that! Get your hands on all of them and read them, you will enjoy them all the more!

4.5 . I’ve loved this series so much and Feisty is a great follow on from Fluffy and Perky. Julia Kent has once again nailed the RomCom genre. Fiona “Feisty” Gaskill is a preschool teacher. She loves her job teaching four year olds, she loves her friends Mallory and Perky, and is (mostly) in touch with her place in the universe. Seventeen years after her middle school nemesis Chris “Fletch” Fletcher named her Feisty (a nickname which she hates and has stuck and because of this she’s spent half a ...more

I have been waiting for Feisty and Fletch's story since Fluffy last year and this certainty lived up to everything I was hoping for.
The thing that is a little different with this story then some of Julia's others is that while yes it is a love story and you're gonna get your HEA for this couple in the end. The story , the arc of it all is more so about Feisty finding herself and letting herself be herself. Letting herself stop hiding from one side of herself and learning to embrace all of

Well, Juia does it again. Here we are reading another laugh out loud book that you feel like you just started and now it is done cause it keeps you engrossed in the story. Though it is a stand-alone book, to really appreciate the whole story I suggest you read Fluffy and Perky before diving into this book.

I've been waiting for Fiona's story because I tend to be alot like her. Perhaps not all ninja and perhaps not as feisty but her beliefs and how she treats herself, her life and those around her. She has carried a grudge and hate for her nickname since THAT boy tried to kiss her after she said no.
