The Warning: Testimonies and Prophecies of the Illumination of Conscience

Rate this book
This highly acclaimed and captivating book offers the world the most thorough understanding to date of “the Warning,” or “the Illumination of Conscience”— a critical moment in human history when every person alive will see their soul in the light of divine truth —including fascinating stories of those who have already experienced it for themselves.

“Christine Watkins has done a tremendous work…invaluable and timely” says Mark Mallet. Bishop Gavin Ashenden, Chaplain to the Queen of England (2008-2017) comments in his foreword to the book, “I devoured it, unable to put it down.”…“Inspirational…I highly recommend it,” says Fr. John Struzzo. Monsignor Ralph J. Chieffo urges, “Read this prophetic book and believe,” and Fr. Bernardin Mugabo makes the heartfelt appeal, “I wish everyone would read this!”

Bishop Ashenden, begins his foreword with, “Every so often a book falls into one’s hands that is particularly powerful in unveiling the mystery and power of God’s purpose for his Church today, and this is one such. If you are wondering whether or not you should take the time to read it, let me strongly encourage you to do so.”

The prophecies of the Warning, as outlined and illustrated in this book, have come to us through saints and mystics, including St. Pope Pius IX, St. Pope Paul VI, St. Faustina Kowalska, Blessed Anna Maria Taigi, and Servant of God, Maria Esperanza. Some of these spiritual luminaries are still alive, such as exorcist, mystic, and Superior General, Fr. Michel Rodrigue; stigmatist and mystic, Janie Garza; and founder of the Dynamic Catholic Institute, Matthew Kelly.

Not only does THE WARNING substantiate an event of monumental importance, which appears to be on the horizon of time, but also carries the reader through compelling testimonies of those who have already experienced it personally and against their will. The book culminates in the spell-binding story of Marino Restrepo, hailed as a St. Paul for our century. Formerly a well-to-do Hollywood music producer who sank into serious sin and the New Age movement, he endured a torturous kidnapping by Colombian guerilla rebels for over half a year, during which he experienced an illumination of conscience. In addition, he received a unique gift of infused knowledge of divine matters, which he has been sharing with the world since 1999 in his world-wide, bishop-approved apostolate. And his is only one of the stories. . .

The prophecies and testimonies of the Illumination of Conscience promise to astound, entertain, challenge, and prepare those who read this book and who believe.

A good friend texted me yesterday and said I HAD to read this. A compilation of testimonies from many who have had private revelations. Some variation, but a lot of overlap. If you are on the path, it will affirm your efforts and encourage you to work even harder, much harder. If you need motivation, it will certainly give you that. Draws from approved apparitions as well as those yet to be approved, so therefore is up to each reader to discern, but very inspirational. I don't know how to rate something like this. Writing is good, but what am I assigning stars to? That I believe it? Yes, I do believe that everything in here is very likely. Of course it is possible that one or more of these people is a fake, but their stories certainly sound true. So yes, I believe them. Still do not know how to rate this.

I'm not a huge fan of private revelations and would much rather read the writings and lives of the saints. However I don't discount the fact that God can choose to appear and speak to anyone He wishes to communicate with. As far as I can tell there is nothing here that contradicts Church teaching, so it's instructive in the same way that the saints' writings are instructive. It's the same message: repent of our sins, go to Confession, amend our lives, surrender to God, unite ourselves to God's will, pray for the conversion of nonbelievers.

This is an astounding book. In an age where vast majorities have opted for entirely unrestrained licence to indulge every whim, a call back to age old standards of behaviour, backed up by corroborative miracles carefully recounted in a context of similar incidents, extremely well-researched, comes like an icy shower while one is still luxuriating in bed. The immediate reaction is to reject it all out of hand. But this is impossible to do with honesty because of the network of research and available evidence that has been put together in support.
Add to that the startling apocalyptic dimension into which it all emerges and the array of loose strings it ties together - loose strings that have been stubbornly troublesome to all thinking people since time out of mind, and seem to be becoming increasingly so recently - pollution, plastic, Trump, Johnson, Tory austerity, populist intransigence, the sheer stupidity of the masses, our insistence on maximum convenience and comfort no matter what, and the ABORTIONS and the FIRES!!! We have sown the wind and are reaping the whirlwind!!
This wake up call is most opportune. Oh that it might be heeded!!

This is not a book I would typically pick up, but the state of the world had me wondering about the bigger picture of things. And this came recommended to me multiple times by reputable friends without me seeking it. When a book gets mentioned enough times, it makes sense to check it out. Some will read this literally, some will dismiss it altogether, but I believe that a thoughtful and honest reader will at least remain open to the idea that all of us need to take a good look at our actions - what we do and what we fail to do - and how it affects humanity as a whole. For myself, I came away from the consistency of these messages with a reflection on how I can try be a better person. And as I did so, it illuminated ways in which I need to improve. The big things are easy enough for our consciences to recognize - but it is the little things - the stray gossip, harsh word, lazy choice - that can sometimes have the biggest effect.

As someone who likes a good narrative, the most profound portion to me - which was more than half the book - are some remarkable personal stories that are both inspirational and astonishing.

So no matter what you believe, I think there is much self-reflection to be gained here. And some inspiration from the individual stories. As for the literal interpretation of the prophetic nature of the book...I suppose that's for God to play out or not.

Very disappointing

I was so excited to find this book which at a glance looked so promising - what I hoped would be a collective analysis of all credible apparitions pertaining to the Illumination of Conscience.

What it was was a rambling regurgitation of quotations. Very little attempt to coherently categorise or organise the content. No commentary or analysis overlay. No mention of Medjugorje in Croatia; or Direction for our Times in Ireland - but lots of questionable content from various “mystics” across the Americas (mostly USA based) including a significant body of work from questionable Catholics who are making substantial income from public speaking events concerning their “messages”. All interspersed amongst legit and credible sources like Fr Gobi; Fatima; Garabandal; Sr Faustina.

My recommendation is to read source writings from these last credible sources (which only form a very small part of this current work) as there is nothing additional to be gained in reading this book.

I don’t know exactly what to think about the whole thing.
Sometimes I miss more information, other times I am kind of skeptical with some of the chapters. For example Father Rodrigue.
But the good thing is that makes you think and reflect about your actual life and push yourself to want a better examination of conscience

The book is undergirded by at the least fundamentalism and at the worst gnosticism: there are a select few who have access to a special knowledge of the "Illumination of Conscience."

I was also disturbed to find that Fatima, Akita, and Kibeho were never mentioned. These are Church approved private revelations that have legitimate Church support. Why is so much time being given to Garabandal + Medugorje when those apparitions are not approved? Even Concita of Garabandal later said that she doubted her experience....

Then there's the question of the bishop's approval of Fr. Michele's messages. This Sept. the Bishop issued a statement saying that the messages were not approved and that Fr. Michele was not an official exorcist of the diocese. It's troubling that the book uses these untrue endorsements as evidence of trustworthiness. It's deeply predatory.

This book consist of first person accounts written by people who have experienced the illumination of conscience spoken of by several mystics. They saw their whole lives and not only all their sins but how those sins affected the rest of the world. Horrifying but it caused them to change their lives. According to the mystics, this will happen to the whole world at some point in the future. Excellent reading. Short.

In my opinion, a must-read for everyone! This book is the story of several persons "Illumination of Conscience". It also speaks of "The Warning" as explained to several mystics over the years by saints, the Blessed Virgin and even God Himself! Everyone on earth needs to know what to expect and what to do if this happens during our lifetime.

It's very easy to live your faith complacently and this is definitely one of those books that help inspire the reader to take action. While the title is quite ominous, it is filled with hopeful messages rather than despairing ones. Hoping this book will help others carry on and fight the good fight!

If I believe the contents of this volume to be true and decide to change my ethics/worldview accordingly, what do I stand to lose practically if ultimately the idea of an Illumination of Conscience turns out to be spurious? I lose nothing.

The Warning will be the greatest act of mercy for mankind since Jesus came to Earth. It will be both global and intimately personal. It will be a correction of conscience for a world gone astray.
Live as though the Warning is real, and life from now on will hold few regrets.
“Everyone will see themselves as God sees them,” You will see your own personal darkness contrasted against the pure light of My love.”
Even those sins confessed in the Sacrament of Reconciliation will be revealed, although experienced differently. It is one thing to confess sins with words; it is another to see those sins through the light of truth and to feel viscerally how that sin pained Jesus and hurt others, extending its destructive effects, like a ripple through time.
The first historical record we know of that mentions the Illumination of Conscience is from St. Edmund Campion (1540-1581), the brilliant Jesuit priest and martyr from London,
Blessed Anna Maria Taigi (1769-1837). The first recorded words to call the event an “Illumination of Conscience”: “A great purification will come upon the world preceded by an Illumination of Conscience in which everyone will see themselves as God sees them.”[19] She also indicated that it would save many souls because many would repent as a result.
You will be illuminated by this divine light . . . which will open the door of your heart to receive the great gift of divine mercy.” (Our Lady to Fr. Stefano Gobbi)
The Illumination of Conscience will come to break open souls to the reality of God and bring willing hearts to repentance.
Be ready and vigilant for the hour of My mercy. “the moment in which each person will be alone before his own conscience and his sins—a moment so overpowering that some will not survive experiencing their own wickedness.”[29] During the Illumination of Conscience, everyone will see where they would go if they were to die at that moment without the benefit of the Warning. Those who love God and their neighbor will endure the Warning with grace and be much better for it. After the Warning, you will love God much more.”
“The Warning is for us to draw closer to Him and to increase our faith. Those who are very close to Jesus, they will see what they must change in order to live in complete union with Him.
For the one who believes in God, this will be a loving day, a blessed day. You will see what you must correct to accomplish more of His will, to be more submissive to the grace He wishes to give you for your mission on Earth. It will be one of the greatest signs given to the world since the Resurrection of Jesus.
After the Warning, no one left on Earth will be able to say that God does not exist.”
On July 15, 2019, for the first time, Luz de María was given that answer. Saint Michael the Archangel declared, “This is the generation that will experience the great act of Divine Mercy: THE WARNING. . .[43] You are already blessed because you are being made aware. Why do you think that God has chosen you to be here? Because you have a mission. If He is making you aware now of what will happen, it is because people will come back from their mystical experience of meeting God, searching for help, not knowing what to do. Some will be afraid; others will be in shock. You have been chosen for this time to help guide these people into the Catholic Church to receive the Good News of Jesus.”[45]
Blessed Mother in her apparitions of the last two centuries. She has been calling out to the world, asking us to repent, turn back to God, amend our lives, do penance to make reparation for our own sins and the sins of the world. She has called out to us, pleading with us to pray, pray, pray, and to take the practices of the Catholic faith extremely seriously. The souls of her beloved children are at stake.
How we should prepare: “Pray, my little one, pray. Remain faithful to all that the Holy Spirit directs you to do. Act in everything that Most Holy Mary is calling you to. Be a strong messenger of living her messages of peace, prayer, Holy Mass, fasting, conversion, and reading Holy Scripture. Live as God’s people, leading good, simple and just lives. Open your hearts to God’s love and mercy. consecrate themselves to the Sacred Heart of Jesus, to the Immaculate Heart of Mary[48] and to my intercession and protection, that We may lead you closer to God. We will prepare you for the things to come. Live as children of the Lord, and you will live through all these troubled times. . . Do not fear anything, but abandon yourself to the Holy Spirit who will help you to do the Holy Will of God.”[49]
words of advice for people in order that they might prepare for this event, Conchita answered, “We must always be prepared with our souls in peace and not tie ourselves down so much to this world. Instead, we must think very often that we are here to go to heaven and to be saints. Mari Loli responded that we are “to do much penance, make sacrifices, visit the Blessed Sacrament every day that we are able to, and to pray the Holy Rosary daily.”[50]
look at yourselves more closely so that you can see your faults and repent. examine yourself more every day and pray in reparation. be like the blind man. Each day you should cry, “Lord, open my eyes,” and My Son will open your eyes so that you can see your wretchedness and repent. Do not judge. You are incapable of judging because you cannot read a man’s heart. Do your best to renounce yourself and let Christ reign in your lives. You try to become better people each day. the pain that you experience by seeing the darkness of your soul is an act of love on My behalf. My greatest delight is in being with you; and I want to prepare for the Warning, frequent Confession, Holy Mass, fasting, Bible reading, prayer from the heart—especially the Rosary, prayer as a family, visits to the Blessed Sacrament, and consecrating one’s self and family to the Sacred Heart of Jesus and the Immaculate Heart of Mary.
the godless will deny the Warning and attribute it to new technologies.”[53]
“Their love for Me then will be so strong that, united with Mary’s Immaculate Heart and the Sacred Heart of Jesus, the head of Satan shall be crushed. all humanity would be within one Church, the Catholic Church. She also said it was very important to pray for this intention.”[61] The Lord, she said, would cleanse the world and His Church to prepare a miraculous rebirth that would be the triumph of His mercy.[62]
As we approach the end of an era, the Warning is an extremely small passage in time, yet a monumental event in the story of mankind. Whether The world will never be the same after the Warning, and those few who know of it in advance and prepare are fortunate indeed.
before I come as the Just Judge, I come as the King of Mercy.
everyone in the whole world will see a sign, a grace, or a punishment within themselves. They will find themselves all alone in the world, no matter where they are at that time, alone with their consciences right before God.
it is very important that we get ready for it, as it will be a terrible event. It will make us realize all the sins we have committed. The Warning is for us to draw closer to Him and to increase our faith. He does it for the good of all His children so they might enjoy eternal happiness and not be lost. the sin of the world will be revealed.” It will be like a judgment in miniature, and each one will see his own life and all he has done, in the very light of God.”
Out of My infinite mercy, I will provide a Mini-Judgment.
It will be painful, very painful, but short. You will see your sins; you will see how much you offend Me, every day. you will see your own personal darkness contrasted against the pure light of My love.”[76] the illumination that will take place will be for a short period. During this time My Father will allow all of humanity to see the state of their souls as My Father sees their souls. This will be a time of great grace when many souls will repent and return to My Father. prepare every day with strong prayer.
The consciences of this beloved people must be violently shaken so that they may “put their house in order” and offer to Jesus the just reparation for the daily infidelities that are committed on the part of sinners. . . it is the hour of decision for mankind.”[79]
Each person, she said, is created in the image of God, and to love Him would naturally mean to love other people, the Rosary, a window into the life of God on Earth, that I should place myself beside Jesus and walk with Him through His life. By doing so, His grace would reach inside of me and touch me in a powerful way. “Every prayer of the Rosary,” she told me, “is a step away from evil and a step toward God. when you focus on God in your prayers and look past yourself, past the world, that is when your soul opens, and God pours His grace in abundance deep inside of you.” “Every time you feel a desire to do wrong, think of Jesus. Just think of His Name, think of Him suffering on the Cross, or see the Host before you. Keep concentrating on that and you will see your desires fall away.”
Superimposed Jesus’s Sacred Heart. Immaculate Heart of Mary, their two Hearts as One.
Confession You need to have the grace through the sacrament to help you through your weaknesses. He gave us Confession to help us, strengthen us, purify us, cleanse us—to bring us closer and closer to God and to heal our souls. If you do not confess all of your sins, it is easy for Satan to lead you into more sin because you are not only left feeling bad about yourself, but you also have that sin residing on your heart, on your very soul. It remains a weakness there, a doorway where evil can enter and lead you further away from God.
“It’s going to be difficult. It’s never going to be easy until the day you die. But don’t give up!” pray, receive the sacraments, turn back to God, love God, and love each other.
Souls that make an appeal to My mercy delight Me. To such souls I grant even more graces than they ask.
“Woman, behold your son,” which meant, “Mother, I give mankind to you as your sons and daughters.” We have a mother. She will come to anyone’s aid,
God and his angels and saints are the only reality that exists. We are the ones in the shadow world.
I had only Him to please, and my concern with pleasing (or trying to please) countless others was a total waste of time and energy.
if we run from the cross, there is always a bigger one awaiting us.
Appropriate use of Confession means to have a desire, a firm purpose of amendment,
God’s love outweighs His justice.
God gives gifts, but not without obligation,
we should take advantage of His mercy while we still can.
The Blessed Virgin Mary is not only warning us, but marking out for us a detailed plan of how to get to heaven: prayer from the heart, especially the Rosary.
I do not want to punish aching mankind, but I desire to heal it, pressing it to My Merciful Heart.
Before the Day of Justice I am sending the Day of Mercy.
we empower the angels through our prayers, just as we empower the demons with our sin. While our sins and indifference open the doors to the devils and their curses, our prayers and petitions open the doors to God’s strength and blessings.
pride, which creeps stealthily in to destroy all good deeds.
I was to say, “Lord, You know what I said, did, or meant, so I do not have to justify myself because You are the more important One. You know everything.” He knows the truth, He is the judge—no one else; and usually that is good enough. the Lord wanted my primary focus to always be on Him. In Him was everything I needed.
unite my own little crosses with His and suffer them with Him, in Him, and for Him. When wrapped in Jesus’s beautiful and penetrating stare, even when we are facing the harshest truths, or suffering the greatest pains or injustices, we can endure, we can hold on. We get the strength.
had I seen the condition of my soul without the merciful support of God, I would have experienced a despair so great that I couldn’t have gone on living.
when a soul sees and realizes the gravity of its sins, when the whole abyss of the misery into which it immersed itself is displayed before its eyes, let it not despair, but with trust let it throw itself into the arms of My mercy, as a child into the arms of its beloved mother.
I delight particularly in a soul which has placed its trust in My goodness.
Do not value any external thing too highly, even if it were to seem very precious to you. Let go of yourself, and abide with Me continually. Entrust everything to Me and do nothing on your own, and you will always have great freedom of spirit. Let everyone judge you as they like. Do not make excuses for yourself; Allow them to take away even what is due you—respect, your good name—let your spirit rise above all that.
it would kill many, but due to simply seeing the terror of truth.
[All those] who will proclaim My great mercy, I shall protect them Myself at the hour of death,
The special gifts the Lord had bestowed upon me, had placed upon me a greater calling and responsibility of faithfulness to Him. My sole desire is to suffer for Jesus in order to help Him rescue souls.
“The message of the cross is foolishness to those who are perishing, but to us who are being saved it is the power of God” (1 Corinthians 1:18). Jesus showed us the perfect path. He said, “Take up your cross and follow me,” We are called to be like Jesus, and when we choose to join in the Lord’s suffering, we help Him save souls. This is why suffering, offered up in love, is never in vain. It explains why there are victim souls in the world, why people receive the stigmata, the wounds of Christ in their own body. St. Paul, who accepted his own unrelieved suffering, spoke of this reality: “I want to know Christ and the power of His resurrection and the fellowship of sharing in His sufferings, becoming like Him in his death” (Philippians 3:10); and “Now I rejoice in my sufferings for your sake, and in my flesh I am filling up what is lacking in the afflictions of Christ on behalf of his body, which is the church” (Colossians 1:24).
Saint Faustina - “There is but one price at which souls are bought, and that is suffering united to My suffering on the cross. Pure love understands these words; carnal love will never understand them”
“Suffering is a great grace; through suffering the soul becomes like the Savior; in suffering love becomes crystallized; the greater the suffering, the purer the love” (Diary St Faustina) In these long years of darkness, God has taken control and is leading me along an obscure path of redemptive uffering how sweet it is to suffer for You, suffer in the most secret recesses of the heart, in

Živimo u vremenu “pet do dvanaest”. Iznenadilo me koliko toga je javno objavljeno a kako za to ne znamo. Osobi koja mi je ovu knjigu preporučila i uporno o njoj pričala - ne mogu ti dovoljno zahvaliti.

A well-intentioned book by a sincere and devout author, though full of factual errors and oversights. The call of the book is a good and noble one, faithful to teaching of the Church, though the individual testimonies get a bit unsteady. After listening to some research and background, Plus IX was absolutely not talking about the warning, nor did St. Faustina mention the specifics of it. Matthew Kelly has scrubbed his website and writing clean of all mention of his private revelations, and Garabandel was investigated by the Church and not found to be worthy of belief (though this is not the same as condemning.) Perhaps most notorious of all, Fr. Michel Is beyond all doubt not authentic. He was “disavowed” (their words) by the two Bishops whose charge he’s under, who both pledges to pray for those he duped. Furthermore, he predicted that apocalyptic events would begin 6 months ago.

That said, I think Christine Watkins is a good, sincere Catholic who perhaps just didn’t investigate a few cases rigorously enough. I do find a good number of the stories to be illuminating, and don’t have hood reason to doubt them.

I usually take personal revelation with a grain of salt and was prepared to put this little book into the category of "whelp, it's someone else's vision, so . . ." but I found this to be compelling reading and was drawn back to it across four visits to our chapel. I think the stories here will stay with me for a long time. The idea of a global illumination of conscience is hopeful rather than frightening to me, and the message here isn't anything new:

Know and love God. Learn to listen to his voice and form your conscience well. Love others. Avoid sin. Cultivate virtue. Be ready. ❤️

Prophets and mystics are always for one's own discernment. This book contains many. They're telling us that God is going to be correcting the world's collective conscience by having each of us see our souls from His eyes. After some reading and discernment, I believe that we're going to be experiencing this in the not too distant future, and the message is: Be Ready!

The book is a wonderful heads-up and will explain how to be ready. It may save your soul.

Get it. Read it.

Wonderful !

A wonderful book which gives an honest account of very special messages from heaven. We are being called now to accept the invitations to change and or become better prayerful people, whilst we await the fulfilment of these prophecies.
Will we see the fulfilment in our lifetime ~ we shall see but we can grow in faith and love for God while we still still live on earth.

Every Catholic must add this to their library! I cannot even describe in words how this book has opened my senses to a world that is severely ill, and that we must turn to Jesus before it's too late. Repent, pray, fast and pray the rosary everyday! Today, our world has turned their back on God. Our modern day holocaust-abortions. The evil protests, killings, crime, and hatred, are all contributing the bankruptcy our world and the souls who do not go back to God will suffer greatly.

This book was a gift. I had high hopes for it but it did not deliver. I've never heard of the author. The appendix was not only more interesting but written better than the actual book content. This book did educate me on "The Illumination of Conscience." I had not heard of it before so I did learn something. It fits in with some of the descriptions in St. Faustina's diary. I could not wholeheartedly recommend this book which is disappointing.

Ending this book on the first day of a new year seems fitting. I tried to finish it in the prior year but, apparently God had other plans. This is the first book of this kind that I have ever read and found it quite interesting. I connected with many of the testimonials and biographies contained in this book most especially that of Fr. Michel Rodrigue. His words regarding priests and news media affirmed my own feelings about them. This is not a book for the faint of heart.

Fantastic read for both the Faithful and non Faithful

I thoroughly enjoyed this book, it is a real eye opener. It certainly makes you reassess how you are living your life. For all those out there who think they are saved and going to heaven, I would urge you all to read this. I believe we all have a lot of ‘housecleaning’ to do (getting right with God) before it is too late.

For people who are Christian, they will likely have several different reactions to this depending on their denomination. Many will be nodding their heads in agreement and others will think it is somewhere between interesting or sacrilegious garbage that’s really just Satan leading us astray and everything in between.

For my part, as an Agnostic, I found this book to be absurd and asinine in the extreme at almost every turn. Anybody with an ounce of critical thinking skills and a bare kowledge of relevant disciplines to the vast majority of claims made in the book by the authors to be superfluous at best and completely ridiculous and easily refutable at worst. I would list all the ways that it’s logically incoherent and contradictory, as well as completely ignorant of current scientific and historical knowledge, but that would take about the length of the terrible book I just read.

I read this at the urging of my mother and in the spirit of fairness, I read it fully and with as open a mind as I possibly could, as I try to do with anything. The author states at the beginning that if I do so, I’ll be convinced by the “evidence” presented therein, but it failed miserably in presenting anything even resembling “evidence”. There are much more parsimonious explanations for the phenomena described in the book than her rather reaching, for lack of a better word, conclusion.

I have an enduring interest in religion in general and particularly in Christianity and because of that I’ve researched it and other religions widely throughout my life. I’ve read numerous books both for and against religion. I’ve watched countless debates, researched endless hours online, watched innumerable documentaries, and devoured just about anything I can get my hands on when it comes to religion. I’ve come across some good arguments both for and against religion itself and certain dogmas within said religions, but I can say without any shadow of a doubt that this is the worst thing I’ve ever read about any religion ever. It’s garbage. I’d give it 0 stars if I could.

If you have a predisposition towards belief in religion or mysticism or prophecy, you might like this book. If you don’t and especially if you already happen to be a skeptically minded person, this book will drive you mad.

A friend of mine read this last year and decided to lend it to me, suggesting I read it now.

I enjoyed the format it was written in. The introduction was long, but it was followed by many short stories - each a testimony from an actual person who experienced an illumination of conscience at one point in their lifetime. It was interesting to read how several aspects of each of their stories were similar to others.

The overwhelming message was that God will communicate with whomever he wants, however he wants to. He doesn’t just call the qualified. He qualifies the called. The overall lesson learned is that our behaviors matter. Our actions affect other people and there is a major ripple effect from each choice that we make. Even the smallest sin, that may seem exceedingly insignificant, matters. The good news is that God gives us grace and He will forgive those who truly repent. Our eternity will be spent as a consequence of how we live our life on earth.

I’ve learned an incredible amount about the Catholic faith in the last year as I’ve intentionally worked on studying Scripture and Tradition by reading, listening, asking lots of questions, and praying. There is still so much more to learn. This book described instances (many in the not so distant past) that I never heard of before.

This book should hopefully cause me (now and into the future) to look more closely at my daily decisions and actions in terms of my own Illumination of Conscience. Would this choice make God happy or sad? Would this be hurtful to Jesus if I were doing this thing or saying this thing (fill in the blank) to Jesus himself? The part that I found most fascinating is that should the Illumination of Conscience be real, and I have no reason to doubt it, in that moment we'll be shown all of our sins – a lifetimes worth! – along with the RIPPLE EFFECT of our sins. How often do we do something and think that our decision only impacts US? Our choices always impact others whether we want to believe it or not. If nothing else, this book should offer some motivation to live a better life. (Other notes: The audio narrator voice leans toward dramatic. Also the book tends to be repetitive in parts, but in a way that repetitiveness is okay because it shows the consistency of the message of The Warning throughout history.)

This is a prophetic book with testimonies from various people from around the world that have received messages from Mary, Jesus and our Heavenly Father. This is a good thought provoking book, and especially relevant during these last months since Covid, riots, political upheaval, etc. the messages that were delivered seem to align with recent events, and were written about before our current times, some going back centuries others much more recent. The book is not as good as the Thunder of Justice but still shows the importance of praying. Pray, pray pray is what I took away from this, pray to God, Jesus Holy Mary and all the saints for the conversion of sinners, and if you have lost your belief in God, please turn back to Him. He only wants what is best for you, me and this world.

Heartbreaking, yet hopeful

I loved this book! The testimonies made me laugh and cry, and left me in awe of the power of God! Mostly, it made me ashamed of all that I have done AND failed to do, and it inspired me to turn my life around to make it what Jesus wants it to be, and not what I want it to be. Yes, I am concerned about The Warning, but I pray that I will survive it and come out of it the person that God made me to be. I have always loved my Catholic faith, and look forward to the day when all religions will come together and know the beauty and the fullness of the truth of Catholicism.

Life Changing

This is a book for our times! So many of us, Catholics and Christians are struggling as we see the world turning more and more evil. Yet, God is in charge, and He tells us, “Be not afraid.” We are like lost sheep, wandering without a shepherd, but Jesus, the Good Shepherd has been with us all along as He promised and soon we will see Him return. The stories and prophetic messages from our Blessed Mother, from Jesus and from Holy Saints and Angels paint a picture of what is true, what is coming and how we can resist the evil one through repentance, prayer (especially the Rosary) and fasting. A must read!
