Her Ransom by Addison Jane is book One in the Royal Bastards MC: Miami, FL Series. This is the story of Hype and Sage. Sage lost her mother in a brutal way when she was younger which of course left her with issues. Then and now she only really had her dad for family. Sage's father is now the Chief of Police which for the Royal Bastards is going to be a issue. Hype has only had his club members for family and he protects them. I'm learning with these Royal Bastards MC series it's a hit and miss of which one's I like and I really liked this one.
Very few errors and a good world building. A smart likable h and a hot sexy H.
Sage lost her mother when she was a young teenager but heard the voice of the man who killed her. She is only left with her asshole police father. Hype is a big part of the MC club. He’s focused on his job and his main focus is making sure things run smoothly. When his shipping lines get disturbed and his drugs don’t get to where they should on time, he will focus on the reason why and he will make sure that things get straightened out and begin to run smoothly again, and he has no problem with bringing innocent women into the situation to use as leverage to get his way.

In a super fast paced MC read, Addison Jane introduces us to the Royal Bastards MC: Florida chapter. The MC is in a bit of a bind, and for Hype the answer is Sage. Use her to get her father to do their bidding, seems simple enough that is until his instincts tell him that Sage is more than just ransom for him.

A very good fast-paced story with a surprising revelation at the end, who is responsible for the experiences of Sage, which are described at the beginning of the book.
It is always a small world and everything comes back to you in circles.
Narrative style is stirring and character development is very well done and comprehensible.
There are a few loose ends, so for me it's not a HEA rather a HFN.
I hope it continues with this chapter and there are still fireworks on a boat and so on...

Maybe 3.5 stars, but good enough to round up.
I'm not a fan of MCs in general, but really enjoyed this one. It took me a minute to get used to all their names but eventually caught on. The story moved along at a good pace and I thought both it and the characters were well developed, especially for a shorter book. This was my first book by this author as well as in the series, and would read more of both. ...more

Hot dam this book was on fire right from the get go.
Addison Jane knocked this story clean out the ball park. In my opinion. I love her writing style and the way she sucks you in to the story you don't even realise your nearly half way through the book until you wonder why your hungry and your bladder is screaming for release.

Hype is a member of the Royal Bastards MC. Everything was going good until a new police chief starts getting in the club's business. He has a daughter named Sage that is ripe for trouble and attracted to Hype. Hype is determined to stop the chief from causing trouble for the club and keeping Sage for himself. An excellent mc read.

This is my first book by this author and I had to have it seeing as it's part of the Royal Bastards MC series. The writing it amazing and I know I will be picking up more books by her now. Hype is dark and dangerous and will do anything to protect his club. He needs to break Sage in order to do so but in the process I love how they became more for each other. I couldn't put it down.

Very well written MC book. It fits in very well with the Royal Bastard series and for sure makes me want to just keep reading. I hope the author continues the Miami Chapter in her own series as this book was such a good read - in my humble opinion. The book is fast paced, suspenseful, intense and of course full of romance MC Style.

Not an overly long book but one that definitely packs a punch, it had me on the edge of my seat more than once holding my breath and yelling at the same time. It also had me hot and bothered at times, wow! Talk about steamy. Great characters, at least the good guys anyway, you can keep the baddies they were nasty. I received an ARC in exchange for an honest review. I loved this book and new series. I cannot wait for the next one. Hype and Sage had an interesting start. I really enjoyed that she was not some wallflower and stood up to Hype and for herself. I also liked that Hype struggled and lost the battle of his feelings! Tons of MC drama and steaminess in this series!! great first book.

There are some parts of the book that I would have liked to see expanded instead of jumping from one spot in the plot forward to another one, where there wasnt very much explanation or dialog between characters. This was a fantastic addition to the Royal Bastards MC chapters. This one takes you for a ride with plenty of twists. The drama unfolds throughout with an ending that'll surprise you. Definitely recommend.

I thought Her Ransom was a good read I love all the books by Addison Jane but this one did take me some time to connect with the couple in the end I fell for them . Her Ransom is book one in the Royal Bastards series and I can't wait to read more by the author and of the series .
