'A LOVELY OBSESSION' is the first full length book in Coralee June's 'Debt of Passion' Duet. Spoken in 'Dual Perspectives.'

This was one of my most highly anticipated reads for this month, seeing it everywhere and loving this authors previous works I couldn't wait to get my hands on this!
I'm not going to lie it did take me awhile to get into but after a few chapters I was hooked, I loved the twists and turns that came with the storyline. Such an intricate, heart pounding suspenseful read that

Coralee June, that ending was not very nice! Lol Luckily, this is a duet, so I was prepared for anything. I'll forgive you this time, because aside from that, this book ticked a fuck ton of my boxes.

There's a broody, broken, stalker hero, a fiesty heroine, great sexual tension, steam, suspense, mystery, violence, and a whole lot of angst. Couple that with an amazing writing style, a romance I can get behind and root for, "found family," and solid friendships, and you have successfully won

I have been a big fan of Coralee June and could not wait to read A Lovely Obsession. This story was sexy and addicting and I for one was obsessed with Hunter and his unbreakable tie to Roe. Their chemistry was so fiery and I loved their connection. You could feel it come right off the pages!

I love the breadcrumbs of information we were provided on both Hunter and Roe's pasts as it helped piece together their feelings and emotions. I also loved how independent Roe was. She was strong and sassy

There are several things you should know about this book.

It is dark--sorta. Dark by most peoples standards.
It is raw. Very much so. The writing is deep and evocative.
It is gritty. Shit gets real, especially with this ending.

But you will love it and want more.

A lovely obsession is a goddamn monster of a book, but I'm a masochist.

So here we are. I cannot wait for book two.
Also, she's one of the only people that knows how to write a good sex scene. If I could add a star for that I would because

Oh. My. Goodness.

Good luck preparing for this one, there is no safety net or way to truly be ready to dive into a story like this. I thought I knew everything about Cora’s writing and style up until this point, but she continues to evolve and continuously blow me away. This book felt transcendent to me from the jump, it was immediately evident that this was some of her best work yet.

The story doesn’t just read beautifully, it pulses and bleeds and makes you feel. It’s a poetic masterpiece,

If you like steamy books, this one is definitely for you! This book is about man named Hunter who is stalking this girl named Roe. This is a stalker-turns-love-story type of book, and I'm surprised how much I enjoyed it! I loved how this wasn't really a hate to love trope (because I despise those), but instead the characters had good chemistry right away. This author would be really good at writing thrillers in my opinion, because she is great with the suspense and twists! This almost

A Lovely Obsession by CoraLee June is intense, forbidden, taboo, raw, dark, deep and full of feels. It has you craving more. That's how great the writing is. Especially when you get an ending like the one this book has. Gritty and Raw. Leaves you coming back for part two. The plot is amazing and fascinating. I loved the emotions that this book brings forth.
It's a heart-stopping, twisted, jolting read that will have you craving more of Roe and Hunter's steamy, tempestuous story. Book 1 ended on

Wow!! What an addicting, obsessive and sexy ride this was.

Let your damage breathe.

We get two souls connected in a way we don’t fully understand. They are complex, complicated and both have some pretty heavy demons from their pasts.

Coralee June pushed my limits and broken all boundaries in A Lovely Obsession. A raw, gritty and provocative story that is not only dark and forbidden, it is also a power packed angsty treat. If your heart craves for deviant, heartbreaking and intense romance like my black soul, A Lovely Obsession is just perfect for you.

Okay so... I'm not sure how I feel about this book. I'm impressed, confused, disappointed and yet interested in reading book two. Let me try and explain:
I read reviews, watched a trailer, and had certain expectations regarding this story. None if those were met, but it did create new expectations for book two.

How can I describe the story: I'm kind of at a loss here. Is it dark? Not really. It is a high school story (like the trailer suggested)? Nope. A gang story? Not really. A older

Who knew pain would feel this good?

I feel like my heart was just ripped out of my chest, taken from the protection of my ribs, left dangling helpless in the air, ready for Coralee June to come take her final swing.

This book will make you bleed. I wish I could say I didn't want it to, but I would be lying. I want it to hurt you. I want you to feel the poetic chaos that is currently haunting me. I want you to experience for yourself the dark path Hunter & Roe are on...and it is dark. Darker

4.5 Stars!!!

When I say I am obsessed with CoraLee June's writing, I mean I am really close to camping outside her house so I can be in presence of her genius.

I will not talk about the plot at all because I feel it's best to go in blind and then let it hurt you as a whole.

Hunter and Roe are such complex characters. On the surface it feels like the story is about a wild girl and her stalker. But oh man is story touches your heart in ways you CANNOT IMAGINE!! With every detail that was revealed

Whoa, buddy. I blazed right through this book. Hunter and Roe intrigued me immediately, and it was only a matter of pages before I was invested in their story.

Both Roe and Hunter are such complex and deep characters, and I loved peeling back their layers and getting to know them as the story progressed. The more I got to know them, the more I liked them. The chemistry between the two is jolting, especially from Roe's perspective. The mutual attraction is

A Lovely Obsession by CoraLee June
From the moment I read the blurb I knew I had to read this book. CoraLee is a new to me author and I have to say I’ll be looking for more from her.
From the very start I was intrigued and it kept me intrigued right up to the last page. Watching the dynamic between Hunter and Roe was fascinating to say the least. This is not an ordinary boy meets girl and they fall in love story, this is dark, this is raw and this is gritty. This will take you to the dark side of

I’m completely obsessed with this book! Is it crazy that i want Hunter to come stalk me too? damn this man is hot!!!

It’s my first story by the author but I wanted to read her for a long time as many friends kept recommending her books.
I didn’t know what to expect and I was in for a ride. I loved the writing, it kept me reading the whole book in one sitting and the characters are not so easy to get to know them or their intentions but that’s a big plus in my cards.
Although the end of this book is somehow settled, I need the second book asap so I can have the full love story of two broken souls that love each

O-M-G!!!I need book two like ASAP!! I mean everything about this book, starting page one, actually the blurb. I was like “ah hell this ones keeping me up tonight.” Hunter (so appropriately named BTW) and Roe’s story is absolutely unlike ANYTHING else out there right now. It’s dark and raw and twisted. It’s gritty and suspenseful. This book will literally take you from your gut wrenched up in knots to your stomach filled with the flutter of butterflies courtesy of our main hero Hunter.

A lovely Obsession by CoraLee June is one of the best books I’ve ever read. I honestly don’t know if I can put into words how amazing this book really is. It is dark. It is raw. It is twisted. It was everything I didn’t know I needed. If I could give it 6 stars I would!
