Sorry to say this just didn't work for me. Tinnean is an able writer but it was all far too simple.
The characters are likeable enough in as far as we get to know them but reactions didn't carry any believable emotion, the threat seemed nebulous.

Saw the twist coming from the very start but the delivery and conclusion just felt awkward to me; I was left scratching my head as to the why and feeling I'd missed a large part of the plot.

Very simple easy read, but kinda boring due to lack of depth or zombies.

This was a real surprise. I liked it more than I thought I would. Didn’t expect the ending. My only complaint (as with all Tinnean’s works) I want more !!!!

This is another really sweet and adventurous novella by Tinnean. I really enjoying being a part of Lync and Adam's fight to survive the end of civilization as they know it. Previously having only known each other superficially both men bond over the frantic rush to save their lives and survive the aftermath of a massive attack on the USA. Both men get a chance across these pages to show what great individuals they are, to show their weaknesses, and to be accepted as the whole person that they are strengths and flaws included. I'm not a fan of the type of big twist we get at the end of the story but overall the story and characters are so endearing that I look forward to re-reading it again in the future. I'm so glad that there is already a sequel available!!

Huh

I enjoyed the story but the ending had me baffled, considering that I purchased both apocalyptic books together. Huh, I will have to read the next book to see what happens next.
