The war on the raknoth is all but won.
The war on demons is just beginning.

So ends the trilogy of Wars of Enochia, poignant and compelling story, a wonderful in depth story of Enochians with the political and religious clashes, the rise of the dissidents and their fight with the ragnok, the acceptance of the rising mental powers of some the citizens.. This has been a culmination of a great series, mystery and secrets uncovered, albeit through much bloodshed. I was captivated from the beginning, a hard to put down read!

Luke R. Mitchell has once again shown his prowess at writing an entertaining, thought-provoking, action-packed story. This is the final book of the Enochian Wars series and is an artful conclusion to this enjoyable journey into the world of Haldin, Elise and crew. There are plenty of thrills and good humor along the way! I highly recommend this series to anyone interested in well-written sci-fi/fantasy.

This is book three and the finale of The Enochian War series. Haldin Raish, known as the Demon of Divinity, is famous for all the wrong reasons. The High Cleric is being very selective in using clips of Hal’s actions, most recently in the hybrid massacres and the fight for Oasis, and previously for his escape from execution in the White Tower itself. Now, the Cleric has named all those like Hal, be they Seekers or Shapers, to be demons and the same as the Raknoth which Hal and his friends have b ...more

I’ve read all the books in the Harvester and Enochian war series. Children of Enochia is a good conclusion to not only Enochian war but also the Harvesters series. For those who haven’t read all the books, the good news is that each book really stands on it’s own. Each comes to a reasonable resolution. However, there are a few threads that snake through all the books. All the loose ends are sorted out by the conclusion of Children of Enochia.

Children of Enochia is a good story with the main cha

How Hal, Alton and Elise got from Enochia to Earth... together

The last we saw them, in the second book of this series, Alton was Hal and Elise’s (and all humans’) mortal enemy. But having read the author’s Harvester series first, I knew Alton and the Enochians who traveled to Earth were allies. Friends, even.

It was a shock to see Alton as such an evil bad guy in this series!

Which made his character arc particularly intriguing.

Garrett’s and Alexia’s as well (read the novella, Garrett, to see his

Great characters, fun action

This series was such a ridiculously fun ride. So much adventure. Thoroughly interesting world building. Loveable (or, in some cases, love-to-hateable) characters. And! It avoided the pitfall of so many prequel-type stories that have a harder time building tension because the reader knows something of what happens next. I'm definitely looking forward to whatever Mr. Mitchell writes next.

Little wordy and too much thinking, but good

I liked it. Good ending, though a slow one. What does a hero do when their job is done? Why is Superman stopped all crime? What would he do then? That’s a little of what our protagonist faces in this book. He’s not really needed, and he has to face it. That’s an interesting story to tell, but not a very exciting one.

Luke is an SFF author whose dreams include being a paid SFF author and also one day growing up (and lots of zombies... don't ask). Also, the 'growing up' bit was a lie.

After studying engineering science at Penn State and neuroengineering at Drexel, Luke finally decided to throw in the towel on actually building a working Iron Man suit, opting instead to simply make things up and write them down.
