Loving Liv

Rate this book
USA Today bestselling author Stacey Kennedy returns to the passion-filled world of Club Sin and Dirty Little Secrets with this novella featuring a slightly flawed Dom who has six days—and six very steamy nights—on a Caribbean cruise to convince an innocent woman from his past that maybe the best way for two broken people to find true love is to jump headfirst into the deep end of desire.

Liv Sloane needs a vacation. After her cheating ex broke her heart—and their engagement—Liv never fully recovered. In fact, she’s spent the past two years avoiding romance at all costs… with the exception of that sizzling one-night stand she can’t seem to forget. So when her friends from college suggest a reunion cruise, Liv knows a relaxing week of sun, sand, and beach reads is exactly what she needs to clear her mind. But when they board the ship, Liv is hit with two surprises. Her friends accidentally booked a singles cruise, and her one-night stand is waiting on deck.

Miles Schantz has spent the past six months thinking about Liv. As a Dom at one of the hottest sex clubs in Las Vegas, Miles has his pick of women… so why can’t he get Liv out of his head? When he receives an email asking him to join Liv on a cruise, he can’t believe his luck. But when he meets her on board—and she’s completely unaware of her “invitation”— Miles has to come up with a new plan. Six nights of no-strings-attached passion. Six nights of wild fantasies, sexy games, and forbidden adventures. Six nights to show Liv that she belongs with him…

Loving Liv is the 5th book in the Gone Wild series by Stacey Kennedy. Each book is stand-alone and can be read out of order since every story happens at the same time as the others and each book is written by a different author. This particular story is connected to another series the author has written and some characters appear in this book too. Honestly, this book felt more connected to the other series than with Gone Wild.

I have mixed feelings about this book and they lean mostly towards the positive side. What I loved the most about this book is that the author took some time to explain what was going on in the series and give me a better insight into the characters of the series. What I liked the least was learning that Miles had screened with other women between the time that passed from his one night stand with Liv until he went on the same cruise as her. Things were going pretty well between the two main characters but somewhere, in the end, the romance lost me. There is some sour taste in my mouth as I think of this book and how everything went down, which prevents me from giving it 5 stars. With some hesitation, I would recommend it.

Loving Liv by Stacey Kennedy is book 5 in the Gone Wild Series. This is the story of Miles Schantz and Liv Sloane. I did feel this was a standalone book. Liv has had her heart closed up for the last few years due to a broken engagement due to a cheating ex. The only time she left herself feel was a several months ago with a one night stand. So Liv thinks that this college friend cruise ship vacation is what she need to get going again. What she is surprised to see is her one night stand...Miles. Mile hasn't been able to get Liv out of his mind, so when he receives the information that she is going to be on this trip he all aboard. But he soon learns she wasn't the one to provide that information and she is shocked to see him. But now he has a few days to see where this attraction can lead. Really enjoyed this book.

Liv's heart is encased in ice ever since her fiancé cheated on her not just once, but many times. So when she meets a gorgeous, intense man at a wedding, the last thing she wants is to give him the chance to hurt her. But no matter, she'll never see him again after this wedding, so she's fine. Wrong...because when a dear friend meddles with only her happiness in mind, it will set her and Miles back on the path to happiness - IF and that's a big IF, she can let go and allow him in and allow herself to be vulnerable.

Miles knows Liv is scarred emotionally, knows she's as vanilla as they come, but he is still set on claiming her and claiming something his life is missing, even if he can only have her for the few days of this cruise someone manipulated them into being on at the same time. But he'll do his Dom damndest to convince her of how good they can be, along with giving her more pleasure than she's ever had in her life. The question is, will he be able to let her go when the cruise ends? Or will he uproot his life in Vegas to be with her in the City by the Bay?

This is a fabulous end to this fun series. Liv, though super frustrating, is likable and relatable, and Miles is beyond sexy and sweet. The perfect Dom in my mind - alpha with a big heart and a sweet side brought to his knees by his special someone. If this series has to end, I'd say this is the way to go out - with a sweet, sexy couple that has chemistry and heart for days.

This is the fifth book in this series and the first book that I've read by this author and this book is a real, quick insta love romance and I really enjoyed reading it. This book is a awesome ending to this series and I really liked this author writing style to.

This is book five in this series. A Gone Wild Novel.
Book 1 = Kissing Kendall
Book #2= Gaming Grace
BOOK #3= Attracting Aubrey
BOOK #4= Beguiling Benjamin
BOOK #5= Loving Liv

Liv desperately needs a break away after her ex cheated on her and broke her heart, also there engagement and Liv needs to mend her heart that has never recovered.
After that Liv turned away from romance for along time apart from a one night stand that she can't seem to forget.

Liv ends up on this cruise with her friends and she also realise that it's a singles cruise and 2 her one night stand Miles is also on the cruise. Liv is worried about opening up her heart again because of the fear she'll get hurt again.

Miles is the owner of a sexy club in Las Vegas and needs a break.
Miles has also spent time thinking about Liv and although he can have his pick of women he just wants her.
(NO SPOILERS).

I enjoyed reading this installment in this series of not a tad predictable with the story. I loved these characters and how hot they were, they have alot between them both not just chemistry but alittle history between each other. I was rooting for them to both find there happily ever after. This author has written these two characters awesome and I really enjoyed reading this book and seeing the outcome of there completely explosive connection.

Thank you to the author and publishers for allowing me to read an early copy of this book.

Loving Liv gave me more than I anticipated. I had planned to read a couple of chapters, nothing more, but once I got started, I could not put it down.

The chemistry between the characters was insane, sucking me right into the story. I was desperately powering through the story, absorbing every interaction. I could not get enough of them, I adored how they played off each other, and I certainly want to read more about them.

In fact, this has left me wanting to find out what books the side characters are from. I’m curious about the world we were introduced to. The BDSM was not as intense as I like such stories to be, but the chemistry between the characters more than hooked me, leaving me curious about how the other stories play out.

Without a doubt, I’ll be reading more of the author’s work in the future.

This is book 5 in the Gone Wild series. A series of interconnected stand alones written by multiple authors. Liv decides to go on a cruise with her friends after her engagement is broken off with her fiance who cheated on her. Miles is a club owner in Vegas and just so happens to be on the same cruise as Liv, also looking from a break from reality. This story was an nice installment in this series. Liv and Miles have a small past with each other and Miles can't stop thinking about their night together. I definitely would recommend this to someone who isn't a fan of the darker/heavier bdsm because I know those books aren't for everyone who reads romance. This book was light and fun.

I've been loving this series written by different authors. Some of them are my faves and Stacey Kennedy is one of them. I was instantly hooked on this book. A singles cruise is not what this group of college friends anticipated, but one they might need. I loved watching Liv blossom in this book. Miles brings out a passionate side to Liv that she never knew she had in her. This book does have bdsm elements to it, but it is tastefully done. Miles and Liv's chemistry burns hot. You may find yourself fanning yourself during those parts. There is also plenty of heart and feels in the book. The epilogue was the perfect touch to end this series on. It made my heart happy and the last chapter Miles' grand gesture swoon worthy!

Loving Liv is a smoking hot escape. The chemistry between Liv and Miles is apparent from the start and only gets hotter as the story progresses. I loved watching Miles give Liv the courage to explore her wilder side. These two had me feeling all the awwws. Break out the ice water you’re gonna need it.

A solid 4.5 for me. I really enjoyed Liv and Miles, but I felt there was just a little too much of a connection to the author’s previous series (which I hadn’t read). While the love story worked great as a hot and fun stand-alone, the check-ins with characters I didn’t know felt a little off because I never got to experience how they all connected with each other!

This was a really great story. Miles is a dominant, but to me, he was anything but. He is looking for something in his life, he just doesn’t know what. That is until he meets Liv and he becomes enthralled with her. Liv is scared to put herself out there after suffering a broken heart. She pushes Miles away. When her and her friends decide to take a cruise, she is shocked to find that Miles is there as well. Their chemistry is too strong to deny. These were such great characters. I loved how they were dealing with their own issues, but together everything was right.

One night between Liv and Miles is all there was, yet after months they are still on each other's minds...so why not accept the offer to join on a single cruise?
One look at Miles and you just know this man knows what he wants, understand what he can have and certainly goes after it.
Liv is skittish for good reasons..but who can resist a fun week with Miles?
I loved the story..it's sweet and passionate and full of amazing characters.

Ever since Liv had her heart broken by her cheating fiancé she's sworn off men so this trip to hang out with her closest friends should be just what she needs. What she wasn't counting on is running into Miles though, the hottest one night stand of her life and a man who has been trying to get her to date him ever since.

Miles hasn't been able to get Liv out of his head since their first encounter three months ago so when she emails him inviting him to join her on a cruise he jumps at the chance. He had no idea that it wasn't actually Liv who sent the email so they both get an unpleasant surprise when they first see each other again but now Liv is forced to spend time with him he's determined to make her see how good they could be together.

Loving Liv is the fifth book in the Gone Wild series containing books written by Stacey Kennedy, Katee Robert, Piper J. Drake, Avery Flynn and Robin Covington. Each of the books stars a different member of a group of old college friends who are on a cruise trip hoping to reconnect and spend time together. This has been a really fun series that's helped me find a few new (to me) authors to add to my to read mountain and I'm definitely planning on reading Stacey Kennedy's Club Sin & Dirty Little Secrets series as soon as possible.

This book was definitely the hottest of the series and I loved every minute of it. Liv is very attracted to Miles but she is so convinced their relationship couldn't possibly work that she isn't willing to give him a chance. She was badly burnt by her ex and is determined to never let herself get into that situation again. A relationship with Miles just makes no sense to her, not only is he a Dom who runs a sex club while she's totally vanilla, he's also so out of her league that it's ridiculous and they don't even live in the same state. Miles on the other hand thinks they'll be perfect together, he's spent enough time around beautiful women to recognise insane chemistry when he feels it and he knows that Liv isn't quite as vanilla as she thinks she is. All he's got to do is prove it to her.

I thought Liv and Miles made a great couple and their chemistry was insanely good, Liv had no idea how much she'd enjoy her time with Miles but she's still running scared. It's not going to be easy to convince her to give love another chance but hopefully she'll be brave enough to try. This book also has cameo appearances from quite a few couples from the Club Sin series as well as Allie and Micha from Bound Beneath His Pain which I'm sure fans will appreciate and it definitely made me want to read more of Stacey Kennedy's books in the future.

Just the fix I needed. I was missing the Club Sin crew something fierce! I waited so long for Miles' book and this author did not disappoint! This author sure knows how to give you the build up, slow burn and out of this word sex scene! But with these hot Alpha Dominants I wouldn't expect anything less! Another great read by Stacey Kennedy! 5 Yes Sir stars!

4.5 Stars!

Loving Liv was my favourite from the Gone Wild Series. I'm not the biggest fan of insta-love romances, so the fact Liv and Miles had a bit of a background relationship before the cruise was great,it contributed so much more to their story.

Miles and Liv have a one night stand at a friend's wedding, and three months later Miles meets Liv on the cruise with her friends, having received an email from Liv asking her to join him. Liv, confused as to who sent the email as it wasn't her, pushes him away, but Miles convinces her to see it as a sign. They decide to spend the next week getting to know one another to see if they have got what it takes to make it work long distance, with Miles based in Las Vegas and Liv in San Francisco. Liv, hurt from how her previous relationship ended, has built a solid wall around her heart and refuses to let anyone in who will have the ability to put her through hurt again. Miles is determined to prove that she's what he wants and needs. Both will have to make sacrifices, so when the cruise ends, will they be a couple or were they always meant to be a fling? Will they ever get to the bottom of who sent the email?

Miles, wow, holy hotness, I loved him. As a Dominant, he was possessive and controlling, but in a good way. He wanted Liv and had realised that she was it for him and made his life better so would stop at nothing to prove that. Liv broke my heart, she really believed she had to be realistic about love, not believing in fairy tales anymore, and that's okay because Miles was no prince. Together, they lit the pages of my kindle on fire, so many hot and dirty scenes, I loved the sexy scavenger hunt the most! Miles really brought Liv our of her shell, allowing her to explore her fantasies and be more open to more than a vanilla lifestyle in the bedroom. He showed she was in control and could decide what she was comfortable with, it was so hot!

The appearance of other characters from Stacey Kennedy series was a great addition to the story line, and I will be going back to read those series ASAP!

Loving Liv.
WOW! WOW! SHAMWOW ! What do I say about this book! I loved Stacey Kennedy’s Club Sin Series. It was a series that I read when I was in a slump and had kind of given up on reading. That series reignited a spark and a love of reading for me. Those stories were so passionate and well done. When I signed up to review the Gone Wild Series, I did not make the connection that Stacey Kennedy was writing one of the books. I went into it because of my love for Avery Flynn. Imagine my pure delight to not only get a story by Stacey but that it has characters from Club Sin make an appearance, one of my most favorite series.
Loving Liv is simple a wonderful, spicy and sexy read. I loved every sexy second of this story. Liv has experienced the gravest of all insults. She gave her heart to a man who then turned around and instead of caring for it he cheated on her. He had not 1 but 5 mistresses. Liv is afraid to trust her heart to anyone. She has simply been living day to day instead of for herself. She has built up so many walls around hear heart just so she can function.
A chance meeting with Miles at a friend of a friend’s wedding and a hot moment of connection has left the two them dancing around each other for the last 3 months. An anonymous email to Miles has sent him running for a chance with Liv. Miles has booked himself on the same singles cruise that Liv is on with her college friends. The fates seem to be on Miles’ size as Liv seems equally happy to see him.
Devoured this book and was emotionally invested to see what would happen with these two once the vacation bubble pops. While this was absolutely a vacation-based book with a new dominate/submissive relationship it was not dark in the traditional sense of those kind of books. It was fun, light with plenty of sexy. This was a 5/5 star read for me! And you get a HEA!

I voluntarily reviewed a copy of "LIVING LIV" Stacey Kennedy you did a fabulous job writing this storyline that pulled you in right from the start you've got passion, secrets, heartache, betrayal, cheating-ex, humor you can't put this book down.
Liv Sloan is at a wedding where she sees Miles Shantz he can't keep his eyes off her she also very attracted to him but she very leary because her ex broke her heart she doesn't trust easily but when Miles asks her to dance she agrees.
Miles and Liv's chemistry is scorching hot so much so they have a hot trist out in the ally a one night of sizzling sex he's a Dom at Club Sin in Las Vegas here for the wedding she knows nothing will come of it because her sick mother and friends all live in San Francisco.
Liv and her College BF'S go on a cruise but Kendall accidently booked a singles cruise someone sent an email to Miles him thinking it was from Liv asking him to come on the cruise they haven't seen one another since the wedding but gave been thinking about each other alot.
Miles asks Liv to give it six days on the cruise to get to know one another to see if that can make their relationship work he introduces her to bit of BDSM at a club on one of their stops which surprise she rather enjoyed.
This is absolutely a must have book you don't want to miss such a delightful story so well worth the read and the characters were awesome and pulled you right into all the drama I highly recommend. AWESOME READ!!!!

A wedding in Vegas was the reason Liv Sloane and Miles Schantz saw each other and got acquainted. Liv worked as a personal assistant in a real estate agency in San Fransisco. Miles lived in Las Vegas he was one of the members of the exclusive sex Club Sin and he runs the front club where that was located. Liv was heartbroken by her previous relationship, so no matter how good that night was she couldn't give a chance to a relationship with him. A friend of hers had
other ideas and invited Miles to the cruise she was going. As a Dominant Miles knew what he wanted and went after it. This time he wanted Liv and had six days to convince her that they belonged together. Could Liv overcome her fears and be happy?

Loving Liv is the fifth book of the Gone Wild series. It's a BDSM romance filled with intense erotic moments. It's fun, romantic and emotional at times. It is a well-written story, told by a third
POV. It catches your attention from the very first moment and it entertains you throughout the whole book. The erotic scenes are quite exhibitionist and extremely hot. The characters are lovely with good background stories.
I enjoyed reading it and I will rate it with 4.5 stars.

Loving Liv (Gone Wild Book 5)!

Loving Liz is the fifth book in the new Gone Wild series. Each book is written by a different author, and as such, each has a unique feel and story for each friend’s story. Five friends embark on a singles party cruise...accidentally.

Liz is guarding her heart after her ex cheated on her with multiple women. To be on a singles cruise is not what she thought she would be doing with her college friends. Liz met Miles at a wedding and they had a hot sexy one night stand. Now she sees him everywhere! Including on the ship! Miles is a Dom at a sex club, and he has been interested in finding Liz again after their one night.

I am not normally a fan of this troupe, and I wasn’t enthralled with this one. Although the 2 main characters seem compatible, I wondered again what would happen with their relationship after the cruise. I found the dominate/submissive aspect of this book to take away from the fun, light, sexy relationship the 2 developed. However, the book was well written and the plot moved along quickly. If this is your kind of book, you’ll love it!

I received an ARC copy of this book from Social Butterfly and am voluntarily reviewing it.

This is my first Stacey Kennedy book, but it won't be my last.

This is part of a multi-author series that all released on the same day, so I've been reading them all, and they are all very different based on the authors' writing styles and genres, but they are all thoroughly enjoyable.

Liv is closed off to love after dealing with a cheating fiance, and she's still drifting from day to day and struggling with her emotions. She has a wild night with an out of towner that introduces her to BDSM, and it scares her even more when she realizes that she likes it.

Miles is looking to find what's missing in his life after all of his friends are settling down, and Liv wakes up something in him that he's not familiar with. But she rebuffs his advances, and he shuts down, until she reaches out to him out of the blue to join her on a cruise (the other friends on the cruise make up the other books in the series)

Liv's friends meddle to get the two of them to work out their feelings and give each other the chance that they need to be whole.

Loving Liv by Stacey Kennedy is the fifth in the multi-author Gone Wild series. It is connected to Ms Kennedy's Club Sin series and tells Miles Schantz's story.

Miles Schantz and Liv Sloane meet by chance at a mutual friend's wedding celebration. Their chemistry is immediate and powerful. Liv's previous relationship did a number on her though, and she's understandably reluctant to allow that connection to grow despite Miles's willingness to pursue. When her friends plan a relaxing cruise for a vacation and Miles receives an anonymous suggestion that he be onboard, neither is able to continue to deny the strength of their attraction and agree to spend the week indulging.

While Miles is part owner of Club Sin and an acknowledged Dom, Loving Liv is BDSM-lite, and an enjoyable love-at-first sight read. Ms Kennedy does a great job of tying this into her series without being heavy handed and this stands alone well. Loving Liv is a very satisfying take-me-away read.

Liv is still reeling from the betrayal at the hands of her ex-fiance and she isn’t about to trust anyone with her heart again especially since the whole experience has left her doubting her judgment when it comes to men. Spending a week with her friends from college is exactly the break that she needs but she didn’t expect that the only man that has inspired feelings in her would be on cruise as well.

When Miles met Liv at a friend’s wedding, they spent a night together that he hasn’t been able to forget. When she finally reaches out to him about this cruise, he isn’t about to turn down the opportunity to spend more time with her. He is not deterred when he finds out she didn’t know that he would be there but instead is determined to use the cruise to show her that the only place she belongs is with him.

Fun and flirty Miles is exactly what Liv needs to overcome the emotional scars of the past.

Liv and Miles are hot! I really liked their storyline, since it wasn’t just a random meet up on board the ship, but planned by someone who knew one of the in advance. That added a little intrigue into a fun and very frisky couple! Word of warning, Miles is Dom, which I know could turn so readers off. While there isn’t a lot of the lifestyle acted upon in this book, he’s very up honest about it.
Above and beyond that, Miles does his best to bring Liv out of herself and help her experience fun, which she’s held herself back from since her ex cheated on her. I found Miles attention to her outside the bedroom even hotter than in, as his focus was always on her and what she wanted and needed. Not that their adult time wasn’t hot as hades...it certainly was!
Stacey Kennedy was a new to me author, but Loving Liv was so great, it springboarded me to binge read the Club Sin series! I’m so very glad this series introduced me to not just great stories but great authors as well!

4 1/2 STARS!

Filled with heat, heart and happily ever afters! With the final book in the Gone Wild series, Stacey Kennedy delights readers with some familiar Club Sin faces! The characters were fresh and easy to relate to and the steam was off the charts!

After a heartbreak, Liz is wary ... of men, of love, of ever losing herself in that way again. She's really easy to relate to and sympathize with.

Miles is heart stopping. He hasn't been able to get Liz off his mind since their one night together months ago, yet can't get her to agree to see him again. He can tell she's skittish and is more than willing to ease her into a comfort zone when fate ... and a little helper ... put them together on this cruise.

I highly recommend this book as well as the whole series for anyone wanting a fast paced story line filled with fun characters, friendships and lots of yummy sexy times. Really enjoyed the series!

Loving Liv is the last book in the Gone Wild series and it definitely was my favorite out of them so far! Stacey Kennedy did a great job with this book! This series is about a group of friends that go on a cruise expecting it to be a relaxing vacay but it is a singles cruise with a lot of FUN times- *Wink, Wink, Nudge, Nudge*

This is Liv's story and if anyone needs a good time, it is this lady! I definitely would not mind checking out the series that Miles was in previous because this book was hot and steamy but also has a great deeper meaning in it too. If you are looking for a book that will melt your kindle but also make your heart happy, I recommend reading Loving Liv!

PS: Thank you to Stacey Kennedy and Social Butterfly PR for allowing me an advanced copy of the book to read and review honestly! <3

Loving Liv was a short(ish) but packed a heat filled punch. Lawd, the chemistry between Liv & Miles tried to make my kindle explode in flames. This was the first book that I've read in this series, but I have the others, so while I've probably gone out of order, the point is that I get to keep reading. Liv is wound up tight, has trust issues, and when she goes on a cruise with friends, she sees Miles, unaware that he got an invite, which he believed was from her. Anyway, he makes due, and decides that he's going to come up with a new plan to make her his. And the super sexy journey commences! What an entertaining read, as the sexy shenanigans were top notch, and again, HOT HOT HOT! I LOVED every bit of this story, so hit your one click buttons to see how it all plans out! HIGHLY HIGHLY HIGHLY RECOMMEND!

Ooh OOHH OOHH. Stacey Kennedy this book is so delicious. Liv has had a terrible breakup and is afraid to trust her heart. Her and Miles have been “eyeing” each other up and finally have an explosive hookup. She is on a cruise with friends and is surprised to see him. She thinks she keeps imagining him but it’s reallly him. He thinks she’s invited him on this cruise. She decides to enjoy the cruise with him and also they try to find out who really invited him on the cruise. You get the yummy dominate of Miles...mmm mmm mmm the games they play on the cruise. You get to re-visit the friends from Club Sin and you always get chemistry, hot sex, and connections...between his friendships and her friends. Stacey draws you in and you never want to stop reading.

Loving Liv is book 5 in the Gone Wild series. 5 college friends decided to take a relaxing cruise together. Little do they know that relaxing cruise is actually a singles party cruise. All five friends find a vacation fling but can that turn into love?
Liv and Miles met a few months ago at a wedding. They had a brief but incredibly hot encounter. Liv who was badly hurt ran and never turned back. Miles was insanely attracted to Liv and couldn’t stop thinking about her. When they meet up on the cruise it’s an instant connection. The time they spend together could not be any sexier or intense. I truly Enjoyed all of the Gone Wild books. Liv’s story was definitely the steamiest. I’m looking forward to reading more books by Stacey Kennedy.

Loving Liv by Stacey Kennedy 🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥

This was my favorite by far !!!

Liv had her heart broken and has sworn herself off of men but she catches the eye of the delectable Miles ....a dominant....the owner of Club Sin ( I'm already weak at the knees)

Miles and Liv enjoy a heated rendezvous but Liv runs and Miles hunts and between me amd you I just want to ask her why ?! Damn girl he is fine !!!!

Liv joins her friends on the cruise and guess who is also on board !!!! Thi gs are about to heat up 🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥

Miles is caring loving ,attentive, kind and hes a reminder that a dom isn't a sex crazed weirdo with strange taste hes all about pleasing Liv and giving Liv what Liv wants ❤

I lost my heart to Miles !
