A must-read tale of love, pain, fear, and other universal life lessons as told by one of nature’s most beguiling and observant creatures

Every now and then you come across a book that is so beautifully unique and poignant that it just completely knocks your socks off. That is absolutely this book, which is a blend of women’s fiction, humor, light romance, philosophy, and just some amazing insights on the nature of life and love itself, all told from the perspective of a cat.

I must admit I had no idea what to expect going into this book and I was pleasantly surprised!

The story is told through the eyes of a cat, the author's beloved cat and based on true events which makes it even more special.

There are so many different levels on which I could identify, sometimes with laughter and other times with tears. I lost my cat this year and she too came to me at a time when I guess we needed each other. This is a story of pain and healing, of love lost and finding closure

Though her voice is unmistakable, this book was unlike anything Simon Gunn has written before. Part fiction/kinda memoir, she sucks you in from the first page, telling the story of how a cat finds his footing in a new home. And how, after being bounced around, is taken in by a woman whose own life is equally on unsure footing. The two find their way together, but not without numerous setbacks.
