I loved the first book and have been anxiously awaiting Resisting Her. While the story was well plotted and I enjoyed reading about the beginning of Arianna and Orlando's relationship from his point of view, I wasn't expecting to spend the first half of the book basically rereading Moving on from Him. It was a good refresher as it's been awhile since I read the first book, but would have been repetitive had I gone straight from the first to second books. The second half of the book was an unexpe

'Resisting Her' is a story about deception, love, innocence, forgiveness and moving on. The book starts immediately after the events of 'Getting Over Him' and we get an insight into Orlando's life and his thoughts about his past.
In 'Getting Over Him', we know he's badly burned but 'Resisting Her' shows that his cracks were actually a deep abyss. His ex tore him apart, crushed his ego to smithereens and discarded him like yesterday's waste. It left cracks in his self confidence whi ...more

Wow, Wow, Wow. I so was looking forward to this book and it did not disappoint.
First, this is a stand alone and you will enjoy seeing just how sowing and reaping works. However, to really, really feel and see why karma is so eloquent, reading the first book in this duology is highly recommended.
If you think this will be a simple romance where the victim gets her man, then think again. There is nothing simple about this complexity of plots that twist and turn your psyche as you read. Too many s ...more

A wild ride!
Wow, the betrayal in this book is so prominent that I felt the pain myself! This book was full of twists and turns and so many emotions that bled from each page. I read the first book and then this one and I have two reasons for giving it 4 stars. The first is because there were a lot of typos and grammar errors that took away from the reading experience for me, but it can be easily fixed with a good editor. The second would be that for the first half it was the same book as the firs ...more

The sequel to 'Getting Over Him'. This time, the story is from Orlando's perspective. We get a look at his take on what was going on in his life before the events of 'Getting Over Him', during and after (a continuation of where the first book left off).
There are a couple of reasons that prevented me from giving the story 5 stars. One was that the story jumped too often between the past and present. Sometimes without warning and at one point it got so confusing that I had to reread some of the c ...more

I’m wowed again! These books were crazy and amazing. Orlando took front and center at the beginning of this book and I loved it. We replay what happened in the first story but from his perspective, something I was yearning for in the first one. I kept wanting to know what he was thinking and why he made the choices he did. Then we move further on, we see Arianna’s perspective, Brian and even Alana’s perspective. We watch as the attacks come and how Orlando will let no one hurt his girl. It’s bea

I LOVED THIS BOOK!
I loved this book when I first read it. I read both Resisting Her and also Getting Over Him (If you have not read this one you totally should It is the first part of this story and has Arianna's POV - Orlando's love). I loved how this book had Olando's POV. I loved that because I was finally able to see into the man that Orlando is and able to see and experience his thoughts and feelings of while discovering his love for Arianna. It was one of the sweetest books I have ever had ...more

This is my first time reading something by this author. This was an entertaining and enjoyable read. The story was well-written and flowed nicely. The plot was interesting and really pulls you in and had some twists and turns that made this an interesting and intriguing story. The characters were strong and well-developed. Arianna and Orlando were great together and had wonderful chemistry. The author did a nice job of bringing this story to life with vivid descriptions and well-developed scenes

I was so looking forward to reading RESISTING HER but I didn't realize what it would do to me. I always say that a good story has you believing and feeling the characters as though they are an extension of you or a really close friend. This one delivered better than I can even explain.

Fabulous book 2!!
This is book 2 in a duology (it can be read as a stand alone but I recommend reading both books in order) and boy was it worth the wait. Book 1 focuses on Arianna and has her telling the story. This book focuses on Orlando and here we see how he feels about their relationship, from the beginning and follows all the way to the sweet end. These two do get their HEA and it is so well deserved!

Book two in the Moving On Duology series and I will say read these books in order as they will make more sense. A well written story but because I started with this book it took me awhile to enjoy it. This is the first book by this Author that I have read. I am now going to go back and read these books in order. I received a free copy of this book via Booksprout and am voluntarily leaving a review.

The writing will draw you in after only a few pages and have you finishing the book in one sitting.
There is the perfect amount of angst and romance and grit to keep you hooked.
I loved how their relationship unfolded so we could see these amazing characters grow in ways you never expected.
I would suggest picking up a copy asap, you will not be disappointed.

The love that these two have is just undeniable. This book will show how karma comes into play and the get what you deserve. But in the end it all works out to a very happy ending. This book is so good and I recommend reading both is the series.

This story has emotional highs and lows as we follow Arianna and Orlando's story. There is betrayal and deceit of someone closes to you that is unexpected but by the end of the story that karma comes home to those that deserve it.

Arianna and Orlando's journey has been a rollercoaster, they've been through a lot. No matter what happened, they were drawn to one another. The connection and chemistry that was between them was strong, they were made for each other.

A decent read that felt a bit slow to start. I liked the characters and wanted them to get their HEA. But the story wasn't a as gripping and fast paced as I was in the mood for, still worth a read.
