There's a bubblegum Hallmark Christmas Movie-vibe to this book that I think a lot of readers will gobble up. The plot itself is fairly absurd (anytime you have royalty from made-up countries that's kind of to be expected) but there's a light mystery thread running behind the scenes that keeps the plot moving forward. The Best Christmas Romance Ever

I love romance books about Royality. It's my favorite trope ever and its no surprise that I love this book as much as I loved Red, White, and Royal Blue by Casey McQuiston. First of all Alaister and Ama are adorable together to the point of me having heart eyes reading ever scene they had together. A Hallmark Christmas movie of a romance, albeit a far more inclusive one than the all white, all Christian card company's. Two princes of two imaginary island countries (one part of Europe, the other a part of the Caribbean), both in pursuit of evidence against an embezzler, end up in Yuletide, Maine for the holidays. Fun ending to a really enjoyable trilogy. I loved reading in this world, and it would be great to revisit again if the author were ever inspired.
