Esther lives in The Netherlands with her family, three daughters, and a crazy iguana. She loves to write about bad boy Alphas with a heart for only one woman. To make it a bit interesting, that woman needs to be a badass herself.

This story was too damn cute. C.Rash and Mags were cute. Loved them together. Joshua was cute. Loved that trio too. It's a perfect quick fluffy read. Uh... Just don't let C.Rash know, that I called his book fluffy. That would be... Yeah.

This book so such a sweet Christmas treat! I loved C. Rash and Mags relationship and how no matter how much time had passed they both still wanted each other. This book was a bit different then Esther's other MC books. There is a bit of the MC aspect that we all love like the suspense and mystery surrounding Mags situation which had me not wanting to put the book down. However this book is more about finding the "the one that got away" after so many years I loved how C. Rash and Mags didn't blame the other one for the past but realized it was both of their faults and were able to move on and into the future. "You can plan your life and the things you want to the T, but its the unexpected turn of events that might lead to the best things life can give you".

Even with a threat looming I found this a sweet and even romantic story, it wasn't about dates it was the words and reactions that made it special. C-Rash was awesome in how he accepted everything and even agreed blame was shared. Magnolia was strong and a fabulous mum. This is a story a little bit different, it's not violence and MC heavy, though they are a part of the plot, this is about a finding and making a family and above all else LOVE. I freakin loved it.

They met randomly and hooked up for the night, not knowing that they had created a lasting reminder of the night.
She’s in trouble, and has no one to turn to. She runs into an old friend, and the old friend ,his sister, gets him to help her, not knowing that they had met before. He finds out what she’s running from and finds out about his child and decides to help, and getting the MC to also help. The MC, and C. Rash take care of business ,while he comes to terms with the fact he’s a father.
It’s scary to him but his son soon wins him over, and then he wins over Mags.
It being close to Christmas, this brings out the family feeling and friendships from everyone.
This is the true meaning of family, always being there no matter what.
C.Rash and Magnolia finally admit that they love each other and want to have a future together, their love is just getting stronger then ever.

So sweet! So perfect! With a bit of action to keep it interesting. LOVED IT!!
C.rash always thought about "The One That Got Away" the one night stand when he never got her name.
But
He found her again and she was in a scary situation
And Now
A second chance at love with a few surprises
The Christmas setting made the story so much more special I devoured it up. And with one word Esther E Schmidt brought the happiest tears to my eyes. I won't tell you the word because you have experience it for yourself.

What more can you ask for from Esther as she delivers sexy hot men with some much love, compassion, loyalty and passion. C. Rash and Mags story is a great short story but with some much happening you can put it down. A true page turner. I can never get enough of Esther’s books. What can I say?? This is another exceptional book from Esther. C.rash and Magnolia have a past, a brief one but very memorable. C.rash is asked to help a friend of his sisters and it turns out she’s the “one that got away”. There are secrets revealed and love rekindled in this fabulous read. Mags and C. Rash

This story of Mags and C. Rash started many years ago with a one night stand. It picks up when c.Rash is asked by his sister to do a favor and help a woman who is being stalked by a kidnapper. Turns out it’s the old one night stand....rekindling of the romance begins. There are some twists, drama and an HEA. It’s a little rushed to resolution but the story is still enjoyable.

This book was awesome, I love how she draws you into a story and make you feel like you are one of the many characters that flow through the series from one story to the next. C.Rash and Mags story is one about survival and having love for that one person you connect with for just one night and having that feeling pull you through a hard part of your life. One-night stands can lead to a lot of things...sometimes, years after they happen a one-night stand can lead to an instant family and love. This was such a sweet, heart-warming story of Easton and Magnolia. I won't spoil anything but it's just too good. Grab it and enjoy this quick read and be filled with love, second chances, family, and friendship...oh and don't forget the spirit of Christmas. :)

Having read many books in his genre, Esther E. Schmidt's books are by far my personal favorites to read. I am completely captivated by the characters as well as story line written with great panache. I find myself reading into the wee hours of the night unable to stop until reaching the end. I strongly encourage others to explore her books. She does not disappoint.

Six years ago, Easton let "the one" get away after a scorching one-night stand. They didn't exchange names or numbers and didn't know how to find each other. Now, they are back together so that he can protect Magnolia from an ongoing threat. Instant reconnection and the bonus is his son.

This is a really sweet story showing that reconnecting with the one who got away is a wonderful thing and that letting going of the past is better than dwelling on it.

Surprise!

I have been waiting patiently for C. Rash's story and it didn't disappoint! I always knew when he fell he was going to fall hard and fast! Only complaint I had was there wasn't enough interaction with the rest of the AF MC Ohio crew. I missed getting little snippets of what is going on in the rest of the characters lives...

Seems like I've waited forever for C rash's story, but oh so worth the wait.
So love these "brothers" are always there for each other and their women are idolized.

C.Rash never does anything by halves and this is testament to that. The one that got away is the one he needs to watch over over Chistmas . This is short and sweet but the chemistry between C.Rash and Mags is hot and the story flows with the non-stop action we've come to expect. Loved this .

The One That Got Away
