This cookbook is A lot like Martha Stewart recipes is quality and impressiveness but not quite so difficult to do. Tried the brisket recipe for Christmas dinner. Not the best. Made the roasted carrots, substituting bell peppers for parsnips (love them but didn't have then on hand). Delicious. Also want to try the cranberry and pistachio biscotti and the eggnog cheesecake. Also the roast salmon and leg of lamb sound worth a try.
Have now made several recipes from this book, and they have all been good. In particular, the gravlax and overnight cinnamon bread custard were big hits at a holiday brunch and Christmas morning. The savory bread pudding is also very good.
