For begginers starting with budgeting it includes all the basics. Book does not go too much in detail but gives an idea about the complete process of budgeting. Highly recommend if you are trying to understand the structure. If you are into details, I would recommend you to find another book.

Very very basics. Good and a must for those who just started working on budgeting. Would recommend to everybody switching to management role from engineering. Anyway it is an easy reading to grab major point.

I didn't read the whole of this volume, just the assigned chapters. That said, the portions I did read provides a good walk-through of budget creation from a block departmental budget to specific program budgeting and planning.
