I loved this. Yet again what at first seemed like a stand alone series now appears to tie in with existing other series, yippee. I enjoyed seeing Cassie get stronger and start to rebuild her relationships with some of those who grievously wronged her in book one. I'm looking forward to the next instalment in her story.

I'm going to be honest. It took me awhile to get around to reading this because I enjoyed your books about Lissa,Reah, and Quinn but I didn't take to Cassie like I did them initially. What made me finally decide to read this was I started reading MindMaster and was about 2 chapters in when I felt like I was just missing too much. Once I started reading it I never put it down. It felt like Christmas came early having not one but two Connie Suttle books to read back to back. Because I just read both books my review my blend a bit but I can't wait until she truly figures out her potential. I want to see what type of daughter her and Denevik (wishful thinking on my part) will create. Will she take after Denevik's mother and have the write gold hair like Reah and Lexi? What type of awesome power will she have being that Denevik's line births High demon queens and Cassie is not only a child of Love and War but the God over Kifirin? Who's Destiny's father? Does she ever go back to Earth IV? What will Parker say about her having 2 mates because they are still married even though she left him? I'm beyond excited for more Connie Suttle books.

I mentioned before that I enjoy Connie Suttle's books. I wasn't impressed with the first of the Seattle Elements books, but I thought I'd try the second one anyway. I'm sorry to say it didn't change my opinion of this branch-off series. I found the character of Cassie poorly developed. Many of her reactions to situations were over or under reactions and didn't fit the situation realistically. Parke had no redeeming qualities and I wasn't rooting for them to work things out and stay together.

Another problem I had was a random storyline tossed into the middle of the book involving a character that had nothing to do with the plot to this point. It seemed contrived and out of place and never made sense to me, even when it was resolved.

Finally, the insta-romance, a standard in all Ms. Suttle's books, is awkward and forced in this book when characters from previous books make an appearance.

In the future, when I need my Connie Suttle fix, I'll re-read the High Demon, First Ordinance, and R-D series.

Oh, Connie! Connie, I think I hate you!

But I love how you suck me into a story with characters that are flawed and heroic, passionate and lost... Parke reminds me of another husband that didn’t treat his wife well and lived to regret it. And Cassie reminds me of all the powerful women that populate your stories. I was glad to see this story blended so well into my favorite of your worlds, the Blood Destiny series.
Huge sigh...
What I DON’T love is having to wait for the next installment. Your work is like Lays potato chips...no one can eat just one! Time to submerge myself in my favorite guilty re-reads of all your series to stave off the craving I have for a Connie Suttle smorgasbord. Dinner was served, but where’s the dessert??

This book is suitable for readers of all ages. But should be rated R for excessive violence and explosive language.

Worth your while

Cassie woke up and came back stronger and more confident. She and a handful of others helped to save their earth and now have a much bigger role in the universe. Loved Worth Your While and the ride it took me on. There is one thing that I do not like about Connie Suttle books and that is the end! I would love for them to just continue on and on. I know unrealistic but I love how I get absorbed in the story and get a little emotional when it's over and that's when I know it's a exceptional read for me.

Urban Fantasy with a bit of Sci-fi

This was a great story. Cassie has grown quite confident and I really like her now. I'm not sure if there will be another book in this series. There doesn't seem to really need another. Some have died and others have been left behind. I might get curious about what they are doing later. I believe that Connie has written the perfect character, Chet, and I love him!

Ok, I'll just say, I think that I am going to love Zarigar and I am pretty sure that Denevik may have a reason to avoid Baetrah.

Connie Suttle's books are all related they go back to "Blood Destiny" Lissa the opening " Two vampires walk into a bar" through out the years I've seen some dumb reviews. One said too many characters, there are 35 books! What the heck!
I for one hate it when an author writes like we are idiots. Connie writes like each book is an extension of the last you have just turned the page, she tells you who/what that's character is and off we go.
The Rose books are not part of Blood Destiny, I was disappointed but it's still a good read.

Connie has a great way of interlocking all her books. Cassie is a fire demon and was killed in the end of last book and came back. I loved the characters in this story and the interactions while they fought Black Myth. Lots of twists with plenty of action and characters that you grow to love. Loved it!!

Another great story!

In returning to this series, the author wraps up some stories, while leaving many more possibilities open. The first book, including the short story, should definitely be read first. Good editing, a fast plot and engaging characters all add up to an enjoyable read.

Wow, world building at its finest

I picked up the first Seattle Elementals book yesterday. After I'd inhaled that practically, I had to move immediately on to this one.

The whole set up is fantastic. You start from a lawyer's receptionist and I can't actually believe where the tale ended. But it takes you with it, and very, very skillfully. Highly recommended.

I was wondering when this was going to happen, lol. Another reason to just read everything CS has ever written. You won't regret it!
I love seeing how much her writing has evolved along with how she writes her characters, namely the female ones. They're not as watery as Lissa was in the first book. I adore her writing style for the most part along with her imagination.

Action packed adventures

I enjoy how the book ties into the multiverse that Ms. Suttle created. I was sad that Cassie outgrew Parke but it seemed inevitable as the story went along. Eagerly awaiting the next adventure!

AMAZING!

Another wonderful book from Connie, the way she ties this series into the Lissaverse with Randl and the Blackwing X crew was so well thought out. I’m sooo happy that Cassie ended up with Denavik and Zarigar!

Connie does it again !!!

What can I say ! As usual it’s a fantastic read with twist and turns that only Connie’s amazing imagination can create. Without giving away any spoilers it brings 3 series together and has me desperately waiting for her next book.

Another winner!

While this is a separate series from the rest of the Blood series, it tires in at the end. I love how Cassie comes into her own. It will be interesting to see how she fits in with the rest of Lissa's crew.

Great story and ending!

Cassie has become. What? Read this story and find out what happens when she wakes from her death sleep. Poor Parke, he was so jealous of her. Got what he deserved!

I loved this series!

Cassie is back and again tasked with saving humans and supernaturals. Parke has his hands full with Destiny and Kate and but can’t justify betrayal from within. With new powers Cassie tries to trust those pushing her in directions best suited for others as she seeks her father and grandfather’s deaths for the murder of her aunt and mother. More monsters and the sprites come back to battle. In addition after Cassie comes back from the dead and her last betrayal, Parke can’t accept that she is more. As the menace continues she takes Earth’s fate into her responsibility and own’s it!
