Continua il viaggio fantasy della nostra piccola compagnia, in questo secondo volume che vuole gettare le basi per il finale di questa mini serie, mescolando i combattimenti alla scoperta del passato di alcuni personaggi.
La strega si rivela per il potere che nasconde e questo incute timore nei nostri protagonisti, che ognuno per un motivo diverso, vogliono accelerare il passo in vista di uno scontro che sembra sproporzionato alla loro forza.
Gli intrighi a corte e le varie alleanze vacillano al potere inimmaginabile della donna, ma questo suo rivelarsi si tramuterà in un ottimo spunto per l'autore per raccontarci quello che c'è dietro al passato del nostro protagonista.
La vita di suo padre, tanto controversa nei racconti di chi lo conosceva, aprirà le porte ad un nuovo spunto narrativo che si protrarrà nella seconda parte dell'opera, lasciando di fatto un segno nelle scelte morali di Parn.

El dibujo muestra una mejora sobre el anterior tomo, pero la historia sigue siendo bastante simple, los personajes siguen siendo arquetipos sin mucho trasfondo y la acción y el ritmo siguen siendo dignos de una partida de Calabozos y Dragones.
Pero a veces eso es todo lo que quiero, una lectura simple y agradable sobre la lucha del bien contra el mal, sin tonos de grises. (Irónico tomando en cuenta el nombre del manga).

I gotta read more, can't wait to catch up on everything.
This was the best book in this collection, even though volume three did get busy.
