My professor gave me my first D.
Now my next assignment is due…in nine months.

You know when you meet your new professor, and he ends up being the same man you had a one-night stand with three months ago?

Okay, maybe not. Let me explain.

I hadn’t intended to sleep with my professor. I might be known as the impulsive, prankster daugh-ter in my family, but I’m

Oopsie Daisy is the third and presumably last book in The Flower Shop Sisters series. This book was the one I was eagerly anticipating since it was Kate’s story and I couldn’t wait to see what shenanigans she would get herself into.

Kate was a firecracker. She’s funny, sarcastic, intelligent and fun. She’s the youngest Wright sister and walks to beat of her own drum. When in Ireland for her sisters wedding, she decides to let loose. She ends up having a one-night stand with a stranger

I've been eagerly anticipating Oopsie Daisy so as soon as I got it, I picked it up! This book brought back the feelings I had while I read the first novel . It was quirky, fun, witty, hilarious!

Kate is the really smart sister, but also the one with no filter and the inappropriate jokes. Three months ago, she had a one-night stand in Ireland and her first time having her cherry popped. She was definitely not expecting her new grad adviser to be the same man.

High 2 stars here.
I was somewhat disappointed in this one. I read the first book in the series and thought it was ok so had no expectations for this one. Well, maybe hoping I'd like it better. I did not. I liked the premise just not the execution of the story.
I found there were a few too many inconsistencies. Dress/shirt, glasses askew/lost, timeline errors, subjects brought up but not followed through...
I found Kate to be incredibly immature. She constantly had to say she was mature but

Once again, this gifted wordsmith has me in awe of her ability to dust off a used-to-death trope, breathing new life into it with her witty, clever writing and have me devouring the pages in one sitting. I adored Dani and Mari's stories in the previous two books, but I think Kate is my favorite sister.

Kate is the youngest of the Wright sisters, the prankster, and yes, the impulsive one. She decides to let loose when she's in Ireland for Mari and Liam's wedding, and she meets Lochlann

"Honestly, if anyone knew how many voices I had in my head I’d probably be committed."

And that my reading friends, is the most authentic introduction to Kate Wright that I can conjure. That line instantly connected me to Kate - because heck, as an avid reader I have many voices in my head too. The thing with Kate is that MOST of her dialogue is not inner at all, she's very much an open book and I am super excited to have her story. Given Kate's unique brand of "Moxy," there are a few things that I

This is the third book in "The Flower Shop Sisters" featuring the younger sister Kate. I have been looking forward to her story since we got introduced to her slightly in book 1. This is technically a stand-alone book but I would advise that you read the other two books to get the full background on Kate's sisters and their now husbands.

In the second book, Kate's older sister Mari meets her dream guy Liam and they go off to Ireland to get married. While there Kate goes to a pub and meets Lochla

Oopsie Daisy is the third book in the Flower Shop Sisters series. Three months ago, Kate lost her virginity overseas to a one night stand at her sister’s wedding. Starting grad school, she’s shocked when her one night stand turns out to be her new advisor, and even more surprised to find out she’s pregnant. Do Kate and Lochlann have a chance at a future together, or will the pressures of his job, her reputation, blackmail, and past hurts keep them apart?

I was so excited to get Kate’s book and I

‘Oopsie Daisy’ is the third book in the Flower Shop Sister’s series by Iris Morland, and I was given a copy in exchange for an honest review.

I absolutely adore Morland’s writing style -always choosing fun and relatable characters that enable you to completely immerse yourself in her fictional world - and this book was no exception, I was hooked from the first page!

The book is about Kate, the youngest of the Flower Shop Sisters. She is known to be the prankster, the ‘wild one’, but s

This is a cute forbidden romance with an age gap and an surprise pregnancy. There's some humor and some sexiness. Lots of up and down with their relationship or lack of. She's smarter than he gives her credit for, but she also shows some signs of their age difference. Yet no matter what they are struggling with (with keeping their relationship a secret and all the horrible things that could happen if word got out,) they can't seem to keep their hands off each other. Romantic comedy with all the feels
Oopsie Daisy: The Flower Shop Sisters Book Three by Iris Moreland is truly a fantastic romantic comedy that will make you laugh out loud and fan yourself repeatedly. I love the previous books of this series, but I think this one is truly my favorite.
Kate is a total wild card. Whether she’s thinking something or talking, you just never know what’s going to come out. Chances are, she’s gonna make you laugh. Lochlann is the opposite to Kate. Very serious, br

Wedding Hookup
Kate is the third Wright sister in this series and is a stand a lone even though you will want to read the other two books since they are funny and romantic, too. Kate and Lochlann Gallagher meet in a pub in Ireland and have no idea who each other is. Kate is the bride's sister and Lochlann is the groom's cousin. They have a fabulous one night stand when he takes her virginity. They then go their separate ways not intending to see each other again. They meet again when Kate g

Charming and cute. Steamy too! I was eager to meet the third sister in the series because apparently she'd managed to end up pregnant by an Irish hottie. That had to be captivating.

This couple’s plight is really entertaining and endearing too.

Accidental pregnancy is one trope I usually enjoy, and here it comes with funny dialogues, incendiary chemistry and a man who doesn’t believe he can love a woman as she deserves. Engaging plot twist!
The characters seem to be opposites, though

There’re a lot of years between me and Kate. And I had to keep reminding myself that acting childish isn’t out of character when the character practically still is one. She jokes about being sixteen in a couple of scenes and then pretty much acts like she is for most of the rest of the book. I liked Lochlann. He has no emotional intelligence whatsoever, but I liked Lochlann. I don’t quite understand how these two worked together, but they kept me laughing for the whole book. Yeah, there are some ...more

I love this series and Oopsie Daisy was a great addition. When Lochlann gave in to his desire and had a one night stand, he never expected the woman would become his student. Kate is very outspoken and gives Lochlann the one thing she hasn't given anyone else; her virginity. She is stunned when she sees him whan she goes to talk to her advisor.
They agree that they can never be anything but teacher and student, but the best laid plans soon turn into more. They agree, begrudingly, that the

When Kate walks into her new advisor's office and recognizes him as the man who relieved her of her v card months ago while she was in Ireland, let's just say his pretending to not recognize her isn't exactly endearing to her. And let's just say he continues to be a jerk for a good part of the story. But...he redeems himself for the most part, toward the end.

The age (and maturity) gap is kind of a problem, as it lends to a lot of their arguments, and to be honest, I wished there were fewer argu

Oh how I was waiting, oh so impatiently, for Kate's book!! And it was so worth the wait!

Oopsie Daisy is Kate & Lochlann's story and what a funny, steamy, heartfelt story it is!

Kate is the youngest sister, she is the prankster, the nerdy girl, the screw-up....well that's what she thinks.  I see her as funny, courageous and kick-butt type of heroine we all need!  She is fierce in her determination to make a better world.  When she meets Lochlann well then sparks fly and

This is a cute book and funny at times. I enjoyed catching up with the other two sisters from the past books. Kate is the youngest of the three sisters and even though she is super smart, she could sure get herself into some trouble. I loved Kate’s personality and how she looked at life. Leave it to her to have a night of passion with a handsome Irish guy who not only is her sister’s new husband’s cousin, her new adviser in her graduate program, oh and the father of her baby! I have mixed feelings about this story. I really wasn’t very impressed with Lochlainn...... he was a bit of a limp blanket in my opinion. It seemed that Kate did more adulting than he did, despite him being the older person!! His reluctance to man up and him accusing Kate of being unrealistic were quite infuriating....despite all his fears and bellyaching he ended up making zero sacrifice for anyone and still came out on top! I enjoyed Kate’s quirks but I was disappointed that the ending went th ...more

Oopsie Daisy is the third book in the Flower Shop Sisters series. While at her sister’s wedding in Ireland, Kate decides to have a one night stand with a guy in the pub. Fast forward to a couple months later when she is home in Seattle. She finds out her fling is actually her professor, who acts like he doesn’t even remember who she is. Add to that, she finds herself to be pregnant with his child. Well, oopsie Daisy indeed. For being quite a bit older than Kate, Lochlann kind of acts like an imm ...more

I received this book as part of an ARC review. It was a quirky and fun read. While waiting for word she got into her STEM program, Kate is in Ireland for her sister's wedding. She decides to head for a nearby pub where she meets Lochlann. She loses her virginity to him but surprises are to come. She gets into the program she wants and is assigned an advisor. It is Lochlann. More surprises when her one night stand in Ireland leads to pregnancy and Lochlann is her sister's husband's cousin. Kate a ...more

DNF @ a little past 50%. I was really excited for this book because I enjoyed the second one and the epilogue had me intrigued for this next installment. I had issues with the book right from the beginning but pushed through hoping things would get better, they didn't. I didn't like either of the characters, Kate seems waaaaaay younger than her age, and Lochlann was so condescending and rude. If anyone ever talked to me like that there is no way I would continue a relationship with them. There w ...more

Ok so this is book 3 and I'm on the fence...I mean it was an OK read but everytime is started to get "interesting" Lochlan would do something stupid and make me hate him a bit. I mean I understand he had a lot at stake but there were bigger things that were way more important than his job.
I'm sure that in real life he would have never gotten a chance for a HEA as he did in this book.

Now let's talk about the positive; I liked Kate. She was funny, quirky and despite being (relatively) young

Iris Morland maaay be my favorite rom com writer. I love her Flower Shop Sisters series! Each one has me giggling. So going into this I though Petal Pucker was my favorite. Nope Oopsy Daisy wins.

What I liked:
I read this book very quickly and laughed quite a few times throughout. A lot of double chuckles happening... You know, "haha!" I really enjoyed the writing style, it was conversational - and that's my favorite kind of narrator!  I feel like I could read one thousand books with this kind of narrator and not get tired of it.

This charming story will have your emotions everywhere. Kate had a hookup while in Ireland with an intriguing man. Now she's back on US soil and finds herself in the motherly way. To add to her dreary, her hookup happens to be none other than her professor one who is doing research similar to what she is researching and it could lead to the end of their careers if found out. The drama's heating up between not only Kate and Lochlann but he has a rival professor trying to get a hold of his researc ...more

This book is a hilarious take on a situation that could have been disastrous. In fact, in most circumstances, it is disastrous. However, the author's spin on a one night stand gone horribly wrong had me laughing out loud as the fun-loving Kate has to face the results of a spontaneous moment. Despite his outer demeanor, Lochlann is a really nice guy. When he discovers that Kate is not only his one night stand but is also his student, he has a real matter of conscience to deal with. The fact that ...more

Terrific!! This story is funny, sweet, bitter and frustrating but, it is worth it because Kate and Lochlann are a special couple. Kate's nervous sarcasm, wit and spontaneity gives levity to the drama of her one night stand turning into much more with a baby on the way. The ever formidable Lochlann is charming while keeping Kate at arms length. Their back and forth taboo relationship keeps hope alive in Kate while Lochlann refuses to see what's in front him except his work and the responsible to ...more

Sweet, frothy professor/student romance

Kate was just self-effacing enough to be adorable, even when she was being deliberately obstinate in dealing with Lochlann. Professor Gallagher, for his part, is in line for the jerk-of-the-month club but manages to redeem himself just in the nick of time. Each one is more concerned for their respective academic careers than they are for the child they created, but they do eventually get their HEA.

There's plenty of humor and steam, a
