One encounter with her surveillance target was all it took to change the course of Nadia Bennett’s life. It was a once in a lifetime kind of connection and worth the risk—even if the price of saving him was to leave him behind and start anew.

When an underwater angel saves Cade Malone from a car accident, he fears he won’t find her again. Years pass, but he’s still unable

Moonlit Mirage – A Cook Islands Romance is the first in a new Moonlit Destination series by the amazing Amy McKinley. I have become a huge fan of Amy McKinley, in particular her Gray Ghost series so did not hesitate to jump headfirst into this book. To my great delight I discovered it has a crossover to the Gray Ghost series with Hannah and Jack making an appearance.
This book is a novella so doesn’t go into the great depth that a typical Amy McKinley book will take you but she still managed to

So after reading Covert Threat and the little snippet at the end about finding out what Hannah was up to I had to grab this book. This is kind of a part of The Gray Ghost series with a few of the characters crossing over, this was a super quick read that was full of all kinds of content, leaving out all the extra info that is normally a part of longer stories, yet still contained everything you expect when

5-Stars

Moonlit Mirage: A Cook Islands Romance (Moonlit Destination Series) by Amy McKinley was an excellent novella. I finished this book in one sitting. Case was Nadia’s mark. She was supposed to kill him but saved him instead. Disappearing, their paths cross again years later. There is a strange connection neither can explain.

I loved Cade and Nadia. They were amazing. Nadia was so lethal. Having read many of

As a fan of Amy McKinley’s ‘Gray Ghost’ series I was looking forward to this first book in her new ‘Moonlit Destination’ series and this novel definitely did not disappoint. A fairly short book at only 80 pages it is packed full of action and has a great storyline. Nadia Bennett has Cade Malone under surveillance when she acts against her orders and rescues him when he has a car accident. They both share a once in a lifetime connection but although the chemistry between the two is instant and ...more

Moonlit Mirage is the first book in Amy McKinley’s Moonlit Destination series. It ties in with her Gray Ghost series, with a few background characters from the familiar team, but is shorter and contains less action. The focus is on romance and character development, in a book that can easily be read in one sitting.
Cade was the reason Nadia defected. The target she couldn’t leave to die. Nadia was Cade’s angel. The face he could never forget after she saved his life and disappeared. When chance

I seriously love the suspenseful romances from Amy McKinley. I fell in love with her Grey Ghost series and was super excited when I found characters and small tidbits of it in this new series, the Moonlit Destination series. I loved how this book didn’t mess around, it just took off with a big jump and never slowed down until the final few chapters that brought it all together. This book read super quickly and was one that just kept you glued to the kindle until it was done. I loved how it was ...more

Moonlit Mirage: A Cook Islands Romance is the first book in the Moonlit Destinations series by Amy McKinley. It’s a superb romantic suspense- with a bit of a crossover with The Gray Ghost Series. I love Ms. McKinley’s books, so it was a no-brainer when this popped up on my feed. But having The Gray Ghost connection made this book even more intriguing for me. This is right in Ms. McKinley’s wheelhouse- romantic suspense done right. We dive right into the action from the get-go, and I was

This book had me hooked from the beginning!! Even though this is a shorter read it still has everything from, romance, suspense, twists and turns, and let's not forget the wonderful characters. When Cade was in a car accident one night and was saved by Nadia he couldn't get her out of his head. Nadia felt the connection between them as well and she risked everything by saving him. Moonlit Mirage - A Cook Islands Romance was a great 5 star read and part of the Moonlit Destination series.

I was pulled in right from the beginning with Cade’s accident and being saved by a woman he considered his Angel. She stayed with him under water until help came making sure he had air, then she vanished. Nadia took a big risk helping Cade.

We jump ahead a few years and Cade and Nadia come face to face again. Cade recognizes Nadia from the accident, he is immediately drawn to her. They

This was my first time ever reading a novella book. I didn’t know what to expect all I could think of was a soap opera but in book form. I read this book and all I can say is Now I think I’m hooked! Even though it was a short read from the beginning it took off and the story line was so vivid and detailed. Yet the way the storyline was written it still kept me on the edge of my seat

Five Stars

It always amazes me how authors are about to grab your attention with a well placed word. Or a line in a story that just grabs. Or a character so well written you have no choice but to follow and listen. This author has become a favorite. This story is short, sweet and to the point. You don’t get the full effect just because it’s a novella. You still get the right amount to

It's a slight version of the Grey Ghost books and I love those. Its about Nadia Bennett and Cade Malone. Cade is in a horrible car accident and Nadia saves him but he doesn't get to thank her. Sometimes I feel an author tries to hard to fit so much into such a short book but this was not the story here.
