Hell seems to be my life's final destination. I thought I was already there but I was wrong. Every step, every breath, every decision is leading me there.
Heather should have been a quick fix, an easy lay, someone to make me forget about life......for a second.

She spends her days driving her husband up the wall (when he can’t get her ass up from the bed in the mornings), reading and daydreaming, or following orders from a two-year old. In the hectic life she leads (and loves every second of it), she never thought about writing. But, then one day a name popped in her head, then, the snippets of things, and she sat down and started typing. Next thing, she wrote a book. And now, she’s trying to write another one ;)

But, she’s Claire. The one who stood by me when I was paving my way to the top. The one who always was so full of life, pouring that energy in me when I wanted to call it quits. The one who made me smile. The one who made me a husband. The one who made me a father. The one who is my wife.
“Who’s that?” Claire asks not lifting her head away from my chest. Ignoring the tight feel in my gut and throwing my phone on the nightstand, I push my hand into brown strands that are all over me. “Just Beth reminding me of tomorrow’s meeting.” The lie comes out of my mouth effortlessly.
“Are you trying to destroy my marriage?” Nick’s words are pure venom and like a broken glass are thrown at me with one intention only.
“I cheated on you last night, pretty girl,” he whispers. “I slept with Claire last night.” “That’s where you’re wrong, Nick. You didn’t cheat on me, you’re cheating with me.”
One time, when I tried to take it slow and make love to my wife, suddenly a vision of Heather appeared in my mind. I didn’t know how to get it gone, so I let loose the reins of my control and fucked Claire.

All the important plot points are told to us through character headspace POV. Seriously annoying. It just feels like the rough draft or plot outline and it’s missing the how and when.

Before I get started I’d like to disclose that I abhor cheating in any form and I don’t generally read anything which includes it. However after reading the first book I decided to be fair in my review I needed to read the story in its entirety. As the three part novellas are the making of one book.
The three main characters deserve each other. We are given a voice so that we are able to communicate with each other. I understand that Nick and Claire are living in a loveless marriage. However that doesn’t give you the right to find attention and sex elsewhere. Have enough respect to have a conversation with the other party, if you both agree it’s not working go your separate ways. Then you are free to play the field. Saying Nick was staying for the sake of his son is a cop out, he was having an affair. It was always going to come between him and Claire, the question was when, not if? I like a strong heroine, but Heather is weak and the only time she has showed any backbone was near the end of the book. It appears Claire has finally come to her senses, after many therapy sessions.

Oh my GOD!!!! I'm diving straight into book 3....
This book had my emotions all over the place, I was frustrated and annoyed with Nick for not sorting himself out, and frustrated with Heather for allowing herself to be in this situation. I did not like Claire at all, but after reading book 2, I could sympathise a bit with her and understand why she had become the person she became. But that ending ..... What can I say, I'm dying to get stuck into the next book.

OMG!!!
I loved vol 1 but vol 2 WOW....
It started off with anger and if you dont like books with cheating in then this isn't the book for you, it doesn't bother me but my god I was angry, then realisation and understanding hit home..
Followed by sadness, shock then tears.
I read this all in one go, it hit my kindle and I dived straight in, I've been waiting for this next episode.
I need to know what happens next, I cant wait for vol 3

In this second installment we see Nick continue with Heather and find out more about his marriage with Claire. Since the baby was born things haven't quite been the same...
Again the Author has done a fantastic job depicting the characters and their emotions. The next installment in this series is going to be hard to wait for. Well o.k., I read all three in one evening......it's that good! Must read!!

Rollercoaster of emotions!!!!!
I almost did not finished reading the story.
First the author has me all happy and hopeful for Heather and Nick.
Next I’m in rage because of Nick’s actions, then she has me tearing up and probably feeling everything Heather is feeling.
And finally, the author did it....... she made me like Claire and applauded her decision.
But seriously, I don’t know if I’m ready for the end!!!!

Dayum!! I enjoyed this one even more than book 1!! It seriously took me on an emotional rollercoaster ride. My heart really broke for everyone involved this time. They were facing some very difficult choices that would inevitably leave someone broken. But I tell ya what.......I definitely did not see that ending coming! Had to pick my jaw up off the floor.

Just WOW!! What an intense situation where you know someone's going to be hurt badly just from one decision and choice is it right or wrong. I really felt bad for the characters and the things I did not see coming at all really shocked me I still can't believe it. Just no way

Tension, turmoil and drama will keep you firmly on the edge as you read this book. The storyline is gripping and filled with lots powerful emotions and twists that will seriously have your head spinning and your jaw dropping. This is the second volume in this story and you do need to read volume one first. I can't wait for volume three! I am electing to post an honest review.

I enjoyed reading this one. Reading more about Nick and Heather's secret relationship, had me rooting for Nick to get it together, and for Heather to get her happily ever after. But, right at the end, I have to say.... Claire is amazing! Can't wait for volume three, and hopefully Claire gets a book about her.

This book as a lot of cheating in it.
Nick really couldnt make up his mind between his wife or his fling.
Heather I found to be a bit gullible at times.

This is a beautifully written flawless story which is an emotional roller coaster journey, as well as having drama, secrets, and the life choices that are made, had me totally captivated throughout this addictive page turner, and I highly recommend for all.

Drama at its finest!
Oh wow the drama and emotional connection in this newest release does not disappoint. It was raw, heart wrenching and I need more. The ending though I did not see coming and can’t believe it still. Can’t wait to see what happens next.

Volume One was great, Volume 2 is fantastic. This book will run you through a guantlet of emotions. At times I wanted to shake Nick, and then my heart was broken for Heather. The ending is perfect and leaves you wanting more. I can't wait for the next episode.

I devoured this short steamy read. I loved how the author brought in some twists to the story that I wasn't expecting but it made the story so much more enjoyable. That ending I was not expecting at all. I absolutely loved it.

As with Volume 1, I thought it was a good book. I thought this book had a little more emotion than the first book. It had a twist at the end of the book that makes me curious about the next installment.

I’m falling more in love with these characters. The story is becoming clearer but the mystery is still alive and I’m loving it! Can’t wait to see what happens next.

Book two is just as good as book one. Again, story kept me invested and the characters are amazing. It’s such a repeatable story too. Author is an amazing story teller.

This is a good book that will hold your interest. The characters are amazing and it has a good story. The only problem is- It ends with a cliffhanger. This book does contain cheating.

A mixture of emotions!
Shock, love, compassion, anger, confusion and respect are just a few of many of the emotions I felt reading this book. I did wonder where the story was going when I finished Vol 1, but I had no idea the path it would take.....brilliant! I'm so excited for Vol 3 and can't wait to read it!
