My Review:

The Berenstain Bears are the sweetest bear family around and they are always ready to teach our kiddos some basic core values and thats why I love them so much. In this addition to the chapter book series, the cubs are doing their best to save everything in Birder's Woods when it is threaten to be tree trimmed. So the cubs along with others stand up for the rights of every living thing thats in danger of losing its home. But this major town problem is literally causing a split amongst the townspeople. How will this issue ever get resolved?

Nature Rescue is an Early Reader Chapter Book featuring Brother and Sister Bear and the Bear Country community, including Squire Grizzly. The story centers on preserving Birder's Woods and a special little bird that was thought to be extinct. The yellow popinjay.

The cubs learn about various birds and their habitats in school which leads to many adventures. They go on a bird walk in Birder's Woods, and take a class trip to the Hall of Birds in Uncle Actual Factual's museum, but the biggest adventure begins when Bertha takes a video of a yellow popinjay.

This story is both educational and entertaining, containing black and white line-drawn illustrations throughout. The chapter structure is short and easy to read--perfect for young readers (6-10 years old) who are moving on from picture books.

The last few pages of the book include a preview of the next Berenstain Bear chapter book: The Berenstain Bears and the Rowdy Crowd.

The Berenstain Bears Nature Rescue is a really good book for all. It teaches us about nature and birds. This one is about learning about different kinds of birds. Like the yellow popinjay. This almost put everyone into an almost war.

The story plot is mostly learning about what is important birds are to peoples. The way the author or authors wrote this makes it easy for early readers to learn about habitats and a lot what around them. Woods and birds are important. There may be more than one way to solve a problem.

The wood bears want to build cottages for more bears and families. Who will come out on top? The story and plot are to learn about birds and saving though birds before they are gone forever. Find out what brother and sister and other cubs do.

It is good for early readers as well. The pictures are done well. I enjoy the images that are drawn. This book is made for all age groups. I enjoy this series as well as many others. One of the best series of my childhood and still is.

THE BERENSTAIN BEARS NATURE RESCUE is an education book about birds and habitat. When the bear school does a unit study on birds an unexpected discovery divides the bears. Sides are taken. Lines are drawn. Protesters march.....

What will settle these differences?

A great learning tool, plus a valuable life lesson.

I was given a copy free. All opinions are my own.

My kids have always loved Berenstain Bear books. This one is a newer chapter book. I don't like it as much as the older ones.

I enjoyed the ecological lesson in this book but the “relationship” stuff was inappropriate for the target reader’s age this is marketed to as an “early reader”.
