Chet is dead to his family. That’s good. Maria is a beauty he’d like to spend time with. That’s bad—for her.
Maria Hensley has moved to Creede, taken a job, and lives with several friends. As much as she loves her new independence, she begins to imagine a happily ever after when she meets Chet. She can’t explain it but knows they should be together.

Healing His Heart brings the Cowboys and Angels series to a conclusion – but don’t worry, we aren’t quite done with Creede, Colorado as the spin-off series, The Matchmaker’s Ball will pick up the stories of this growing town and some familiar faces as well. I have loved the adventures and the love stories of the Cowboys and Angels series, so I’m sad to see it come to an end but thankful to continue with another multi-author series set in the same location.

A homerun to end the Cowboys and Angels series.
I have not been able to read this whole quirky, crazy, and marvelous series yet, but I had to read the last book as it leads to spin off another series, The Matchmakers Ball. It still takes place in Creede, CO.
So I had to read the last book and I was greatly thrilled with this story. It has everything you would possible want in a lovely, lively, adventurous, romantic story with a wonderful hero with a rather sad past, and the heroine who falls despe ...more

One of my favorites from this series
I loved the use of the angels in this book. It was perfect for followers of the series. There was just enough recap of the back stories of the characters that the book can serve as a stand alone, but not too much to be tiresome to readers of the series. I was a little confused by the actions of the character of Ab Helm; it didn’t seem consistent with how he has been previously characterized in the series (maybe I missed one?), but it does make me wonder if one ...more

Nice Story!
This is the 48th book in the Cowboys and Angels series. It is as enjoyable as any other in the series. We meet Maria who has recently lost her parents and sister in an accident (if the author had known the first book also had parents lost in sea similar accident, she could have tied it in more strongly with the series.).

It's a heartwarming & moving romance.
Chet ❤ Maria, steal your heart

Magnificent
One of the best stories. I was overjoyed with every character. So much love in one place. I hate for the series to end. I did so look forward to each new release. I have had a love affair with the best series of storytellers around. All the Angels coming together to cover their person was the best just loved everything about this story.

The story of Chet and Maria. This is book 49 in a Series of 49. It can be read as a standalone but is so much better if you read the series in order as so many of the characters cross back and forth between books. If you read the series from the beginning you will get to know the history of Creede Colorado and how the people fit in the town. This book ties up a lot of the loose ends to other books as well as giving you the story of Chet and Maria.
Good book, good series.
Good book, good series.

Lots of angels
Ahh, the last in the series finishes well. I like how it gives a 'happy ever after' to a number of characters, not just 'our' couple in this book. This story has a lot of ups and downs for our couple, but ends well. A good read. ...more
