Excellent Writing
The Fate of Wolves by Tarrant Smith

This is in some ways a conventional paranormal romance novel involving werewolves and other creatures. I have not read the “Twilight” books, but suspect that fans of those novels would find the contours of this story familiar. It does take place in the present day and not in 17the century Transylvania, which may be a bit unusual. The main character is Eva Azoulf, the rarest of rare paranormals, a female werewolf. She becomes bonded with Deegan

Think the beginning of Seven Brides for Seven Brothers meets a grown-up Twilight — if you take out the singing and the teenage love triangle. Yes, this is paranormal romance, and it perfectly combines mystery, romance, and magic for this werewolf tale like none you’ve read before. The dialogue is smart, the characters are well-developed, and something about the pack dynamics reminds me of the start of the aforementioned musical when you have one strong woman surrounded by a crowd of wild men. Okay, so, being from Newfoundland, I'm partial to any book that mentions our rugged, rocky island but believe me when I say that you will not be disappointed in this book, this series, or this author. Tarrant Smith is an amazing storyteller who will grip you from the first page and hold you fast with a world like none you have yet seen in the literary universe. Well-written and engaging, this is the kind of story I am glad to hold in my library because it is one that I will be reading again...an ...more

I've been reading Books by Tarrant Smith for the past year. I enjoy her plot development, and the way she surprises me with her chracter's unexpected twists. She really hits her stride with The Fate of Wolves, the fifth of her books I have read. If you're going to read stories about paranormal characters, you want them to be strange, but still have distinct personalities and relatable emotions. That's a tough proposition for any author. Smith carries it off. ...more

This book was not only detailed enough to visualize the story as a mental movie imagery, but the manner in which Tarrant Smith sculpted the characters personalities, thoughts, feelings made them truly stand out in their own way and relatable. I look forward to seeing more work from this author!

Amazingly Fierce Love Story!

The Fate of Wolves by Tarrant Smith is an incredible adventure to find yourself submersed in. This captivating story tells of a female curse-born werewolf who starts out alone and hiding, cautious about venturing out with the others like her and content living in her own private world. Her coming together with a pack of male werewolves who were maintaining a careful relationship between their human forms and wolf forms had her questioning all that her father and grand
