About the author
Edward Gregory
17 books1 followerEdward Gregory was born in London in 1937, to a working class family. During his early years, he and other strong-hearted Londoners lived through World War II, enduring bombings, evacuations and food rationing. This was a time where real life values were learned, and which shaped Edward for the future.
His working life was spent in the petro-chemical industry as a piping designer. This career gave Edward and his family the opportunity to travel to other countries including Australia while he worked
Today, Edward lives in Australia with his wife and has two daughters with families of their own. He spent much of their childhood telling them stories, and they have often encouraged him to put pen to paper. A favourite story of Edward’s was The Boy Who Cried Wolf, which, together with an interest in history, was the inspiration for Mico.
Edward does not have any formal writing credentials per se, but he is a practiced storyteller with a lifetime of storytelling that has bought a sparkle into his children's eyes!
Edward believes there is something magical in a good story that can touch on a deeper level.

I gifted this to my 11 year old son as a book to read on his own and he loved it and it was one of the bookers that helped him fall in love with reading and he wishes there was a sequel or other books on the series. Great plot, Intriguing characters, and the story kept him interested and engaged the whole way through, not too long and unpredictable.

An excellent book particularly for young people- written with the reader in mind. It is good for teaching young people respect and morals but at the same time with a compelling and exciting story-line and a happy ending.
