There were some interesting ideas in this book that I would like to spend more time reflecting on. Overall, the content felt more like a stream of consciousness than a defense against the practices listed in the title. The author advocated for several moral issues that I, as a Catholic, cannot and do not agree with. For example, the use of contraceptives, the whole purpose of marriage, and justified abortion exceptions. If you are well-studied on the topics of abortion or euthanasia, you may find it helpful for acquiring new nuggets of knowledge. But for the person who wants to learn, I recommend reading a book by Stephanie Grey instead.
