Darkness he can't forget. Light he’s afraid to remember. Magic that could change everything.

Exiled dragon prince Alexander never recovered from the murder of his mate Maiara, an indigenous healer he met over three centuries ago. Every waking breath is a painful reminder of what he lost, his grief compounded by the constant presence of her immortal red-tailed hawk, bound to

Mon avis en français

My English review

I really like this series and I was really looking forward to this fourth volume featuring Maiara and Alexander.

Alexander has lost his desire for life since his girlfriend was killed more than three hundred years ago. Since then, he has been trying to die, but it is not that easy: the young woman’s immortal falcon prevents him every time. So when Rowan, Tobias and Gabriel, along with Nick and Raven, find him and tell him the truth about his mother, he fi

The treasures of Paragon have brought back my joy. It’s been months since I’ve picked up a book or been interested in reading anything, but I missed reading so much. I finally decided to give reading a chance, after all this time in quarantine, so I picked this one up and enjoyed every moment. The suspense and heartbreak. The bonds between mates and siblings...I missed these dragons so much. Their adventures to reunite with one another and the dangers they still face from their homeland has brea ...more

I was lucky enough to read an ARC of this one. Genevieve Jack has done a fabulous job in this fourth book in her paranormal dragon shifter series. The main characters' past history cleverly weaves together with present day drama to create a genuine love story that abides across the ages - but Jack certainly puts them through the wringer before they get their hard-earned HEA! ...more

Scintillating!

Having read the first three books of the series, each one gets better and better. The unbelievable twist had me up and yelling. I found myself cheering and just loving these characters. Ms. Jack does not disappoint. If your looking for a superior binge these five books are it.

The Dragon of Sedona by Genevieve Jack is book four in her The Treasure of Paragon Series. While the book could be read as a stand-alone, I recommend to read the books in order.
The previous books are The Dragon of New Orleans; Windy City Dragon and Manhattan Dragon.
This is Maiara and Alexander's story.
Maiara is a mysterious woman, native and full of secrets. Alexander lost her a long time ago and he and his hawk are travelling the world. He was cursed to avoid his siblings at all costs. But much

Another winner!

If you haven't read the books in this series "The Treasure of Paragon" you are missing out on a well written and compelling set of stories. This one, The Dragon of Sedona, adds two more characters, and fleshed out a couple more, in the ongoing plot. I've so enjoyed each book, and this one sets up the next one perfectly. At its heart, each book is a love story, but also an exciting adventure. Yes, there are dragons, witches, fairies, plus more and Genevieve Jack includes mere morta

Reaching across time
Once again, this author has overwhelmed me with her ability to create a world and characters to get lost in. I love how the siblings reconnect and how hope is born from anguish. The author was able to keep the intensity from the previous books going and led us on the path of an epic love story that eventually leads to a HEA I will be sure to read again and again.

I'm 100% new to Genevive Jack, and being dropped into the fourth book into a seriers is probably not ideal. But let me tell you, this did not hinder my reqding experiance at all!

Told from multiple main and previous characters point of view this story captured my interest. The story line itself was one of the best executed of that nature I have ever read.

While set in present day, this story jumps back and forth from 1699 to 2018. It followed effortlessly. Which was probably no easy feat to make

Started reading this series when she was practically giving away the first book. Awesome writer. She just jumped into Serious author with this book: adding her to a special few who elevate the genre into Literature. Jack manages to blend Native American lore, Sci Fi (dragons from an alternate planet/dimension), Greek mythology and serious romance (actually needed Kleenex for this one!) into one of the best books I've read.

If you are looking for a summer read - start here. Jack's just gone to pr

Absolutely Fantastic! Dragon Magic meets Native Medicine!

I fell in love with the world of Paragon since the first book. I have to admit Gabriel and Raven were my favorites until this book came along. Alexander and Maiara are something else!

This is the first time I have seen the lore of dragons intermixed with Native folklore. This book was not only a love story, but one of bonding and discovery. It takes a lot from me to cry at a scene, and this book made me laugh and cry and scream in a matte

Deeply, heart-achingly romantic! Genevieve Jack has truly outdone herself with Book 4, The Dragon of Sedona!

Dragons mate forever. When exiled dragon prince, Alexander lost his mate three hundred years ago, he lost his heart, his soul, and his everything. Somehow he manages to cling to some semblance of life, finding refuge in his art. But, lately his paintings have been getting darker and darker, hinting at a mind that is very close to giving up completely.

Alexander’s mate was a beautiful Indige

Another great read from G.J. I have read all her books, so far and love them. Her writing is gritty, up to date and well researched. It is also adult themed, but not in a crude way. This one is no exception. Although a stand-alone, I would advise to start at Book 1, The Dragon of New Orleans. It adds to the whole thing to start at the beginning. This way, as well, allows you to binge read and not to have to wait a month or two for the next one. Trust me and try it. You'll see.

Another fantastic addition to the series! The story centers around Alexander and Maiara and their lost love. Alexander lost the love of his life in Maiara and as a dragon he cannot die but also his hawk won’t let him. He has been lonely over the centuries because he cannot interact with his siblings and his love has died. Then Gabriel enters his life and informed him that all of the siblings have mated and things are not as they seem or were told when they left their home world. Can Alexander re ...more

*I received this book as an ARC which in no way altered my opinions.*
The sixth installment of The Treasure of Paragon series, Highland Dragon is the book we’ve been waiting for. Avery, Raven’s older sister who stood by her sister’s side during sickness and health, is tasked with finding the elusive brother of the other dragons, Xander. From the beginning, with Raven’s book and the previous novels, we get little glimpses into who Avery is. She is more than a sister, daughter, caregiver, and bark

The fourth book in the Treasure of Paragon series features Alexander and Maiara and their tragic fate. When the dragons were sent from Paragon, they eventually made their way to the New World in the 17th century. Maiara was their guide through the wilderness, a woman of unusual talents. She became Alexander's mate, but tragically died. Now, in present day Sedona, Alexander's pain is eating him alive and his only reminder of his love is a charmed hawk, who seems to have acquired the one thing Mai ...more

Wowwww

So much craziness. We learn about Alexander and his mate Maiara. Back when everyone first came to America before it was even settled. Really cool with the jumps in time, when he told the story of how he met her and everything that happened. Loved watching the family come together and try to help Alexander heal and then fox things. Honestly with each book I honestly hate Aborella more and more. Excited for the baby!!!! Can’t wait for next book. Between aborella and their wretched mother, I

Alexander and Maiara...

Well now that was a love story that transcended time and space and it was beautiful... These two may have had to wait hundreds of years for their HEA but they finally found a way back to each other that didn't involve Alexander decapitating himself, cause that would have been really gross...

I love the continuing adventure this family of dragons is taking me on, a mix of history, a couple fated to be together for eternity, loads of magic and supernatural stuff and even visi

Another amazing tale

This series is blowing my mind! I love how the stories are both an individual tale of the main characters and a continuation of all that has come before. Many authors seem to get overwhelmed by the addition of new characters as the books grow in number and start leaving people out of the story... not so in these books! The story picks right up where it left off, everyone is involved, and it flows so beautifully that you simply cannot put it down! It’s fantastic world-building

“The Dragon of Sedona is book four in the Treasure of Paragon series by Genevieve Jack. The book can be read as a stand-alone! I’m new to Genevieve writing style and I really enjoyed this book.

The first thing that I loved the most was the multiple POV. Each one of the characters kept this story captivating and intriguing. The plot was different and interesting.

Best Q-book to date!

I have been reading a lot more than normal during quarantine and this book was the best Quarantine book (Q-book) I have read! The book can be read as a stand alone but I highly recommend reading the first 3 in the series. I love how with each book we get a little more background into the characters lives. It is like little Easter eggs in the book. Can't wait for the next one to see what new developments there are.

Ms. Genevieve has done it again with this installment in the series. The main characters Maiara an Alexander have history that brings them back together again. The bonds between all the siblings and their boned mates is amazing to witness and the adventures that reunites the siblings is something to see. Also the dangers that they are facing from their homeland is not something I would wish on anyone.

This is the fourth book in the Treasure of Paragon series by Genevieve Jack.

I really love this series. I was hooked after I read book one “The Dragon of New Orleans.” Lots of great backstory in that one.

This book features yet another sibling from Paragon, Alexander. He is depressed after losing his love many years earlier. There are a lot of flashbacks and it can get confusing at times but I think you can figure out what is going on.

I like how the characters from previous books come up in

Wow, what an ending. Not what I was expecting at all! The Dragons of Sedona kept me on the edge of my seat and I could not get through fast enough. Alexander lost the love of his life centuries ago and thought he was going to die a lonely dragon.
