This book I just could not put down. I wanted to know crazy Tiffany's every move. I had no prblems visualizing the characters... especially Darius!

Storyline was great. It was intense and sensual.

Returning home from Paris to Elmore, South Carolina to care for her ailing, estranged, father Thomas, (painter) Celina Hart gets a second chance at love when she encounters (lawyer/hardware store owner) Darius McRae, a childhood friend, but their newfound romance is threatened by his jealous ex-girlfriend Tiffany.

As many as 50-100 pages could have been removed because of their repetition

I am a big fan of Cheris Hodges books, however, I didn't find this book as interesting. Darius and Celina had a good storyline, however, the storyline with Tiffany seemed unrealistic. I thought that it was superficial. Maybe if readers were given a little more background information about Tiffany, I would have been able to connect more with her character in the book.

Celina Hart and Darius McRae have both been burned by past relationships. I loved the connection and chemistry between this couple and the obstacles they faced. Another great read from Cheris Hodges. I absolutely love her books.

Actualon Oct. 20th. COULD NOT put this book down. Even though the heroine plucked my nerves a little, she finally gave in to love. I loved this book!

Cheris Hodges was bitten by the writing bug at an early age and always knew she wanted to be a writer. She is a 1999 graduate of Johnson C. Smith University and a freelance writer in Charlotte, North Carolina. A native of Bennettsville, South Carolina, Cheris loves hearing from her readers.
