Mac’s life isn’t perfect, but he likes it the way it is: safe and predictable.

Mac works in a struggling pole dancing club at night, and a gym during the day. He’s tired and cash strapped, but content, until a confident twink walks into the club and turns his life upside down. It’s hard to resist when Russel asks him to be his fake boyfriend for one night, in return for d

Russel meets Mac for the first time at a low, almost empty, bar named Horns where Mac works as a striptease pole dancer.

Russel has high standards. Super clean and organized, perfect makeup, and fabulous clothes.
Mac is just... the opposite.

Russel has to be present at a celebrity party and interview the man. He needs a fake boyfriend. The first on his mind is Mac. Mac agrees and only because of the money Russel offers.
Their arrangement did well and they even like each other a bit mor

Okay, so this is a prequel and there is already one established couple so I’m not sure if I missed any other stories in the series so far, but if I did, it didn’t feel like it. So, Mac is a dancer at a club, though I honestly don’t remember what it’s called, but, he works with two close friends/chosen family, Edward and Michael. They’re the already established couple and remember them because they’re the ones who have plans for the Heaven and Hell club… the place now, is a seedy little place whe ...more

Just like every book I've read by Colette Davison, 𝗨𝗻𝗯𝗿𝗲𝗮𝗸𝗮𝗯𝗹𝗲 is an incredible blend of laughter, tears, joy, angst, sadness, happiness and so much love.

It was wonderful to watch the main characters, Mac and Russel, slowly realize just how perfect they are together. They start off as fake boyfriends and absolutely convinced that they would be the worst fit for an actual relationship. But then, amazingly, the more time they spend together, the more they come to see how no one else could understand

I loved seeing the founding of the Heaven and Hell Club. Even though I haven’t gotten to read Broken, yet, I look forward to catching peeks of people from this prequel. This story breaks stereotypes of the typically expected relationship roles between a big strong man and a smaller lithe one. I love that. Their relationship is beautiful and watching it grow from fake to  something neither of them thought possible was a true joy. And it was seriously hot! If you’ve read Broken you’ll love learnin ...more

WOW!!! What a terrific story. Mac and Russel are a beautiful couple brought together by circumstances that took them further than expected. Neither were looking or expected more. But the chemistry between them became off the charts. This is HOT, sweet and fun. I loved these characters. I also loved getting to see Michael and Edward together. The love and friendship between them all. This is just an all around, AMAZING book. I HIGHLY RECOMMEND THIS BOOK!!!!!

Mac is a pole dancer in a shabby nightclub. One day, Russel, an attractive man with effeminate features and strong personality, comes to the club. Their first meeting could be the last, if not for the fact that Russel can't forget Mac to the point that when his boss sends him as a reporter to an exclusive, couples only party, the man decides to ask the dancer to pretend to be his boyfriend. Although Mac likes neither changes nor risk, he agrees to help the stranger. However, things get complicat ...more

This book has everything I enjoy; fake boyfriends, light BDSM, opposites attract, fast friendship and overcoming difficult situations together. Collette Davison is a new to me author but definitely someone I will continue to follow. I liked how her characters are gentle and honest with each other.

Russel and Mac find themselves in a situation where they have to be fake boyfriends; Mac to get extra cash and Russell to get an interview with a celebrity so that he can finally move his career forward

Colette Davison's Unbreakable is an amazing slow-burn, fake boyfriend romance. I love the author's writing and the story's tone drew me in from the start.

What starts as a hookup becomes more as Russell hires Mac to be his fake boyfriend for a work event.

Russell and his personality is amazing. A femme man who's into fashion, he's the stereotypical twink. Mac meanwhile is a tall and sexy pole dancer who's struggling for money. I love these two opposites who are fun and sweet together. And even be

Modern Day Male/Male Pygmalion

Quite an interesting plot. The Two MC are completely opposite: Russel is femme like, works in the fashion industry and is portrayed as the quintessential flaming colorful twink. Mac is the moneyless tall and broad pole dancer who used to be flabby and bulky and knows a lot of swear words. “Definitively a fan of the F-bomb”.

Their relationship starts of as fake and purely based on Russel’s physical attraction to Mac and they do have some reciprocal misconceptions jus

It had been a while since I had read a Colette Davison story and after reading this, I really have to wonder why it took me so long.  This author (and this series) is definitely back on my radar and on my TBR pile after reading the endearing, very hot, and quite wonderful prequel Unbreakable (Heaven and Hell Club) by Colette Davison.

Mac and Russel are a match made in heaven. I loved both of them from the very beginning and couldn´t wait for them to find their HEA.
The story is a prequel to "broken". It was very beautiful to see glimpses of Michael´s partner - (although having read "broken" we know their end is not so happy) and it was interessting to see "Heaven and Hell" when it was still "Horns". Although being a prequel the author mangaged perfectly to give more insight into to the surroundings and the people of "H&H" wit

❤ A great start to the book as Mac's on stage dancing, he wasnt happy with his boss at the club. Oh I loved Mac at the party, he didnt have a clue about how to blend with the posh folks. Lots of laugh-out-cloud moments as the two get to know each other. I loved the reversed roles of there perceived body builds. They both have horrible family bagage but have strived to make themselves better. 🔥🔥Hot sexy Dom & Submission scenes included as well as a blackmailing S.O.B I didnt like. The ending is f ...more

I was just so excited about reading Mac and Russel story, and it was just so good, I really enjoyed it. When Russel first met Mac he was dancing at Horns and Russel was just smitten, so much so he couldn't help thinking about him. So when an opportunity for advancement at work showed up after much thought, Russel asked Mac if he would help him out by pretending to be his boyfriend and this started a long slow walk into a beautiful loving relationship neither men were expecting, but one they both ...more

This is an excellent addition to the Heaven and Hell Club series and I love everything about it. I was intrigued by Mac in Broken (book 1 in the series) and I was so happy to read his story as well as get a lot more background information about Michael and the club. Mac and Russell are perfect for each other and I love how their relationship develops. They are exactly what the other needs and they are sweet together as well as having smoking hot chemistry. They do face a few obstacles but becaus ...more

I was given a copy of this book to read and review for Wicked Reads.

Sparks fly when fashion journalist Russel gets a private dance from stripper Mac. Russel hiring Mac to play his boyfriend for an evening quickly leads to a fabulously complicated connection between a fashionista and a gym rat.

Parts of this story are very entertaining. The characters are larger than life and Russel’s flamboyant personality is good fun. This is a sexy BDSM-lite read and it’s a very steamy read. Honestly? The sex

Unbreakable by Colette Davison is part of the Heaven and Hell Club series and features a fake relationship, MM romance. It’s a prequel story to the story Broken, but can be read as a standalone story.

This story is a slow burning one... with a bit of sadness, a but of sexiness, and lots of fun. Enjoyable story that acts well as a prequel to the series. Fantastic and interesting characters and well written.

Fun read with passion, hopes, love and so much more. I thought the pacing was great, with wonderful characters and a engaging story-line kept me reading and enjoying!   I so enjoyed the MC's and the supporting characters!  Mac and Russel find love and build a future that is filled with love and passion.

I loved seeing a glimpse of Michael and Edward in the early days before they become the owners of the club!  I loved getting to see how the club went from being called Horns to becoming a much im

If you like the fake boyfriends' trope, you're going to want to read this one. I also enjoyed the light Dom/sub aspects of this story, but what I really enjoyed was the reverse roles. Russell being smaller of the two stature wise was the more dominant whereas Mac was submissive. I haven't read a lot of books where the roles were reversed and I found it refreshing. This book is also a prequel to "Wicked" so you may want to keep that in mind before diving in. I enjoyed this book a lot and I highly ...more

Russel’s flamboyant personality made me enjoy this book. I love opposites attract stories. I haven't read any of the other stories in the series, this is the prequel so I didn't feel like I needed to read the other stories to understand this one. There were a few times that I didn't like the writing style, it seemed like a few times someone else came in and started adding to the story and then the author would come back and add m

I adored Mac and Russel and it was a joy to journey along with them as they found the strength in each other to finally stand up for themselves. I absolutely loved seeing them take their relationship from fake to fabulous and I really enjoyed seeing how Heaven and Hell got its start.

This book is a prequel to Broken. In Unbreakable Michael and Edward are planning on buying Horns and turning it into the club that's in Broken.
Mac and Russel are just the cutest in this book. I love them so much together. Mac, a big guy, likes to be submissive and Russel, a smaller guy, likes to be dominant. And the way they give and take power is Hot! The mental picture of Mac with that collar around his neck......

I liked both the MCS in this story. Russel and Mac are opposites in every way, and their venture as fake boyfriends led to some light hearted and funny moments. They start of as fake boyfriends, but proved perfect together for the long haul. I loved it when they were together.

The story showed real promise, unfortunately, I did find the writing style a little choppy and felt that many of the characters were underdeveloped. This included the MCS, I wanted to know more about them. I know that this

I won a copy of this book via a Facebook party- thank you for that! Being new to this author I had no expectations. It’s set in England and has an English quality to the writing but no overly so, I think it’s mainly with the money you notice.
I really enjoyed it - it actually kept my attention and I finished in one evening, staying up late to finish the last bit.
Loved the two MCs, thought they both had good dynamics and I’d love to go shopping with Russel.

It was kinda weird reading the prequel AFTER reading all the books in this series, but it was fun too, Mac and Russel were a hot but funny couple. This starts before Micheal owned the club but goes through him and Edwards buying the place to save it. Sad to read of Edward knowing what will soon happen. As usual this author writes a great story, but this time she went low on the angst, the others are heartbreaking to read, this was pure fun.
Linda.. aka Ahsoka

I cannot believe that this is in the same series as Broken.. If you are looking for the same magic that took place in Broken with raw characters that captured your heart, this book is far from that.. the plot with Remy made absolutely no sense and the characters really lacked the depth we saw from this author in Broken
