I have been cooking out of this cookbook for many years. I think Rosalea was very kind to share her recipes with us so that her flavors have a chance to live on for ever. I have had great success with the recipes and have only stumbled across one that I just would not make again. I enjoy traveling to New Mexico to experience the food, and this cookbook allows me to bring some of those flavors into my home.
I was first introduced to Rosalea Murphy on Great Chef's of the West (1990-2000). I loved that show so much that I had to have the book Southwest Tastes which is from said tv show. I still have a bookmark in it for her Gypsy Stew recipe. I look forward to trying her other recipes.
