My school purchased this book for each grade level. It has some good strategies and ways to include the different language objectives into a lesson. The book is very short and a quick read for you busy teachers. EL strategies are not just for EL students. As the author points out:

...teachers who take the time to embed support for ELs into their lessons facilitate increased content comprehension and vocabulary retention for all students.

As some of you may know I'm a science teacher and one of the things I admittedly struggle with is teaching content to my English Learners.

I just finished this read and I am so excited to apply the things I have learned to my classroom, especially when we go back in person. It has a lot of great suggestions that will not only help me English Learners but all my students.🌞🌞🌞🌞 (4.5/5)
